Wonderful performance by the great Alicia de Larrocha! Only she was able to play Spanish piano music with the right timing, touch, and colour. Still miss her on the concert stages in this world. R.i.p dear Mrs. De Larrocha!

Maestra Alicia de la Roxha, to me, was one of the greatest pianists of the 20rh Century. No one could equal her ability in Spanish classics. Her ability to perform Bach, and Rachmaninoff was unsurpassed.
I'm sorry she retired and passed on before digital recording technology was in full use.

I remember seeing this film when it was broadcast by Channel 4 in the UK in the 90s and was absolutely capitivated by the soloist's musicality, the music, the cinematography and the orchestra. Thanks for uploading!
