DUNE 2021 Ornithopter Resin cast 1/32 scale kit Complete photo reel

First seen in the DUNE 2021 movie as it was described in the DUNE book and not like the David Lynch version which was a far cry from what it should have been.
At 1/32 scale this Resin cast kit isn’t a small model measuring 72cm long without the wings folded back and has a 1.4m wingspan when the wings are open.
My TH-cam channel for this kit has 13 instruction videos on the building of this model.
The Thopter kit is a combination of resin casts and direct resin prints.
A moderate amount of skill was needed to complete this model.
I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to detail. In saying this I built this model for myself with high detail.
There is provision for lighting as the whole kit snaps and screws together with the main body consisting of the sides and the roof that holds the wings.

Fun build, great model. Still don't know why it's called "ornithopter" (bird wing) when it does not look like a bird, but looks and works like a dragonfly. So it should be called "odonathopter" (odonata = dragonflies in Latin).

The Atreides Ornithopter has 2 hard points for missiles. Each carrying 2 missiles. At least in Dune - Part 1. 😏
