Aging Wisely - Aging in Place

The ability to stay in your home as you age requires pre-planning. In this episode we visit a home and learn about the most common changes people need to make. We also invite two experts to share about which rooms and remodel projects are best done first, and other things to consider like access to transportation and proximity to social programs including churches and community centers.

Financial management is most important planning before physically immobile. Mental deterioration planning their finances, monthly bill payments, is one of the first issues they need help with for stability as they age if no relatives.
Relinquish the finances is a way for elderly to be less independent and for future possible abuse by anyone. Especially children, spouses of children. (Edit)
It is shocking how detailed all measurements are for access to physical activity.
Yet systems for planning for that which require mental clarity they will have declined, like bills, so on, it is so hard to find. Almost nonexistent.
