I know it’s not my business, but I sincerely hope you stop lending money out to people. Why are they even asking you, I’ve never heard of such a thing. Tell them to apply for a credit card and use that. Great video, brother!
Did you like her? I don’t get it ? Why would you lend a coworker that much money and then your car or (parent’s car) ? 😮 You should never lend any coworker money so lesson learned 🤷🏽♀️
Its a total loss. I would chalk it up as a lesson learned and take the money you keep lending out and invest it in something that benefits you since its your money. If she didnt have a job it was on you knowing she really had no means of paying you back. It was a risk you took and now you will have to learn from it. I dont think much can be done since it sounds like you never drew up a contract or anything. Cheers.
I think your mindset for quitting your job or not is very good. I think that’ll give you a clear picture for what’s best and will definitely give you the best outcome. I agree with a lot of the comments on lending out money though, it’s incredibly unusual that people keep asking. Though it’s a lovely quality you have that you want to help others out finically, i think a lot of them are taking advantage of this and are using you for financial gain. I definitely think it’s best you stop lending out money as it can be very dangerous. Great work on the video!
My bro, I think you should just stop lending money, even to your friends. You never know if someone is going to take advantage of you, it’s sad but true. Nice video mate! :)
You’ve got to let this go. Take this as a learning experience, don’t lend out cash to folks if you think they can’t pay you back. You aren’t getting anything back in this case, and don’t joke about doxing folks it’s a bad look. Even further don’t lend out money period, you aren’t a bank. If you don’t have an enforceable contract like a formal creditor you will not be able to guarantee anything being payed back to you. Most creditors run into this issue, it’s why they charge such high interest rates to make up for it. If you want to give folks money to help out that’s fine, but if it’s an informal loan you have to accept the fact you may never get it back. Don’t lend out money you won’t be fine never getting payed back.
Your sentiment is ridiculous, a verbal contract is valid in 99% of countries around the world. That includes Canada where he resides. Having the persons address is a great way to serve them with court documents in small claims
@@stewartkendrick3770 oh idk maybe the text thread he mentioned in which she states that it wasn’t just a money transfer or a gift…. Small claims isn’t exactly the equivalent of the OJ trial. There is legit nothing you can do in this situation to get your money back. Shake it off and learn from it. Leaking her info would lose you subscribers for sure and stir more problems you don't need right now after you said you are thinking of going full time.
Police aren't going to do anything. If you lend people money, make sure you get a written form with both parties signing or there is nothing you can do.
This is false. A written contract can be dismissed in court very easily. The reason why we don't go to court is because this is what's called 'petty theft' which is like theft under 10k$ or whatever the limit is. Anything under that is basically a 'diy' situation because lawyers and court fees are WELL OVER 500$ @michaelburmudzija3584
Instead of putting her address, you can make a video about what things she has done to you and others. But I wouldn't go anywhere near doxxing. You can mention names and faces, but you can't leak addresses in malice, even if they are in the wrong.
Putting someones address on the internet will get you a serious lawsuit and criminal charges. Take the 500 dollars as a loss and dont lend people money without a signed document. If you had a document, you could file in a small claims court for your money back. But putting someone address online for 500 bucks looks petty. Learn from it.
You can't get into trouble for putting someone's Addy out on the internet it's called public information if you know they're name it's free game that's why they say protect yourself on the internet never use your real name

Hi Matt! There seems to be some irrational, illogical, and emotional advice / observations floating around, so I wanted to use this comment chain to give my thoughts on the points you spoke about since I think it will be useful and worth my time to do so since there are so many opinions that differ from what i believe to be the clear, best solutions.
7:47 doxxing will not get your money back and may lead to further complications. I understand the thirst for justice, but this option makes you look horrible, almost on the same level as the scammer. No need to stoop yourself to a lower ethic just for some revenge disguised as justice.
8:00 waste of your time unless you are looking for people to ridicule you or feel sorry for you. Lots of time and effort spent by you for minimal to no gain - she probably will see it and forget about it the next week or month going on with her life. Not worth your time.
8:19 I thought this was a silly joke, but in case it isnt - of course this is not worth your time/effort/money. The gangster wont do it for free, so you will lose more money, time, and effort on a dangerous operation that has an end-goal of... Scaring her a little? What even is the end goal? Does all this effort and risk translate into a better you or a better future? Nah. Not worth your time.
8:34 police will not do anything since nobody did any crime. Sure what she did was "morally" wrong, but there is no proof that any crime was commited and you will waste your time and effort for no reason. Not worth it.
10:10 Your best utilization of the address you obtained is to write her a letter and drop it off in her mailbox or at the front door. Write every sentence in a way that pulls at heartstrings. Attack her morals, guilt trip her with potential situations that can / are happening to you because of the money she stole, etc. Use your words to do damage in her psyche. This is much more painful to her than any of the other possibilities mentioned and poses ZERO risk to you and does not have you resort to stooping to her level - rather, you get to play from the moral high ground. You could also make it known in her neighborhood what she did. Embarrasment is what you are after, and this will be far more effective than just randomly posting about it. Knocking on neighbors doors and being friendly and just giving friendly warnings about her - ruining her reputation so she does not want to go outside - this is probably what you are after.
I see sucks I don’t lend out money unless it’s my close day 1s but shit depends how much you need cuz once someone says 500$+ ima have to really think about it if I mess with you or not 😭 but from the times I have asked for money the day I said ima pay you back IMA actually pay you back thank god I haven’t had the emergency or situation to ask for some money I hate asking embarrassing and just sucks so I if do I’m paying back 100% hate scammers
This sounds like a tricky situation, however I wouldn’t leak any personal information, also switching between the two differs types, confused my brain and made it harder to fall asleep
Dude. Leave it and take your loss. You lend the money , so it is your fault to. Take it as a lesson to never lend people money.....just learn to say no , and do not let anybody take adventage of you
If a girl does not want to see a guy, and that guy goes behind her back to get her address, then shows up at her door... Yeah. Not a good idea 😂 - police are going to be there real quick for either trespassing or stalking.
Dude you’re gullible, it’s all on you! What she did was wrong but you gave her the money, you should never lend money to anyone you don’t know regardless. Threatening to put her address out there is wrong and she can sue the pants off you! I get that you’re mad but you only have yourself to blame, and if you put her personal information out for everyone to see I hope she does sue you. Stop trying to be all offended when it’s your own fault!!
Bloody hell, chill out. No need to have a go at the guy, he was helping someone out. ‘Stop trying to be all offended…’ you absolute joker ha, she stole $500 from him - ofc he can be pissed about it.
