It is ironic you posted this video right around the time that I decided to start the channel. I got myself a cheap little setup and have finally been filming and posting videos. Thanks for the "inspiration" so to speak. Your videos have always showed me that it doesn't have to be fancy to be effective ASMR. Here's to hoping my sounds are just as effective 🤞

I’ve always wanted to try my hand at asmr! I have a channel already for sim racing but it is a very niche and small audience compared to something like asmr. This is a really informative video! Thank you from Prince Edward Island!
Your insight is really useful honestly. I started up back in October and have been slowly moving up. I have no major aspirations, but I still find it interesting, and eventually having a bit of a side income would be cool, so it's really great to get a more honest and real take on it, rather than the classic business flavour talk. Just want to know the facts and how it is, straight talk, like you do!
Thanks. I would reccomend starting now. It takes a while to build a TH-cam channel. You can do it. Just start small with a short ramble or something. You don't even need to show your face for starters. Good luck.
Does the algorithm play a big part in the success of the channel. I watch someone who has an asmr channel who only cares about the views and says the algorithm is in control of how well he does. Do you agree? I really enjoy listening to you :O)
Thanks. What I'be heard from people who work at TH-cam is that you can replace the word algorithm with the word audience. So it's not that the algorithm didn't like the video, the audience didn't like it. If you satisfy the audience you will get views and subscribers and money. You're in control of satisfying your audience, the algorithm isn't in control of that.

But as far as I can see you showed more emotion and you seemed less depressed before you were on the medications. Basically I’m saying these “anti this anti that” medications seem to be a lot of BS
@@tylercameron7453 I know of a lot of people on Anti-depressants and it basically makes you numb to the point where you don't get any low moods or high-happy moods, you're just always on one level. For some people this is better than getting the very low depressive moods.

I wouldn't suggest trying to make money here, on TH-cam. It hasen't proven itself to be a sustainable bussiness model.
