Glad you have featured products from Regimen Lab - they have a handful of products that pack a punch and have innovative, science-backed, cosmetically elegant formulations that really work. One remarkable product in their lineup is the Level Serum which has really helped with my very stubborn melasma without being sticky or smelly.

I love that you’re bringing up the Level Serum, I’ve been raving about it for so long I thought I’d take a little break so people don’t think I’m a corporate plant haha!
What other products/brands do you love?
Thanks for watching and showing Regimen Lab some love!! 🖤🖤-MT

Oh my gosh, yes to the Level Serum! I always thought that I had enough niacinamide in my routine from other products, so didn’t need to bother with a specific serum focussed on it. But, when the BF sale came around, I thought why not? And man, am I regretting not trying it sooner!! Really helps with my stubborn PIE. I didn’t take it to my parents’ home this holiday and I saw a massive difference. I’ve got a back-up, but I’m planning on trying Dieux Deliverance next to see how it stacks up 👀

Oooo I’m so intrigued by Dieux, I think one of their founders had a hand in creating Skinceuticals Triple lipid which I lovvveeee

I have been using Level Serum for two weeks so far so good, seeing improvements in hyperpigmentation, too soon to say anything about melasma. I plan to reassess after two bottles.
I have Eucerin anti-pigment and triple effect serums on the way to combine with this with Level Serum.
Level X though is a game changer for me, I can't use LAA for more 3 x a week, but I have been using this 5 times a week without issues. The glow with Vitamin X is amazing.
I don't think we'll be able to get the advanced azeliac acid in europe so will be purchasing the theramid azid.

Thank you for the resourceful reviews, may I ask why transparent lab vitamin enriched body lotion didn't make it to the list? You've mentioned you really like geek and gorgeous a game 10,have you already tried the new 0.2%?

Argggg!!! Because I was crunched for time and forgot it on my bathroom counter🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ but it definitely belongs on the list! Thanks for catching that and thank you so much for watching, it makes it all worth while to hear that friends like you find these videos useful. 🖤 I’m trying 0.2 right now! Love it so far. Some subtle differences from the other two but overall, seems like another winner from G&G! Have you tried it?

How do you know which product is making the change when you're swapping in and out so many products?

    • @MarkThayerSkin
      @MarkThayerSkin  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

Real talk, I don’t. Not for sure. But having tried a lot of stuff over many years and being pretty in tune with my skin & body, I try to relay my experience as transparently as possible. When using strong retinoids and exfoliating just the right amount, you see changes from products pretty quickly because your cell turnover is running so efficiently.
And sometimes, I don’t feel like I get a good sense of the product on my first try (plenty of those in the last year) usually because I can’t tease apart its effects from the others I’m trying, so I give some initial impressions and put it on the back burner until I can give it a more isolated trial with fewer unknown factors.
That said, I’m not running clinical trials here, just having fun making friends and nerding out about all the magic lotions and potions we have at our disposal these days!
Love this question, it’s totally legit to ask! Thanks for joining in

@@MarkThayerSkinappreciate your answer, i as also about to ask the same question. How long you were using each product to see the result or think its good.

@yukiaditya7352 Ooof, um, largely depends on the type of product. Ideally I would want to use an acid/exfoliant for a couple weeks at least to see anything at all, but for sensitivity testing I’d want a month or so because for the most part, I only use them once or twice a week.
Vit C and protective antioxidants - a month or so just to see how it agrees with my skin, if I’m looking for brightening/evening effects more like 2 months.
Dedicated hyperpigmentation products - bare minimum 1 month daily use, but 2-3mo is ideal. Thiamidol was insane because I fully intended to not see much for a few months but *bam* it was a week or so and I saw it working already.
Cleansers/oils/balms - a week unless the brand makes long term claims.
SPF - 2 weeks is usually when I’ve had a chance to see how it wears down through multiple scenarios and tried layering with a tinted spf or other makeup and sweat tested it at the gym a few times.
Would it be helpful if I tried to include “testing period” in future reviews?
