I could see that, but I also feel like it really depending on what tribe they ended up on. If Rob was on Zapatera the game would be completely different, it was just where they ended up with the buff draw.
It’s crazy how all it would have taken for Rob to lose this season would be Ashley Underwood winning the final immunity challenge Legit the entire jury hated Rob, Natalie, and Phillip, imagine if they had to edit this season to fit the Ashley win
Hell’s Kitchen Season 9 was a season i loved when it first aired but in all the rewatches i couldn’t stand anyone except Will and Tommy. Robdumbshit Island is no different. i liked it when i first watched it and on rewatches i can’t stand anyone except Rob and Phillip. those pink briefs are almost as iconic as Coach’s Exile visit.
the jury did admit in post game interviews that had Phillip owned his game and admitted that his behavior was done to be seen as a goat so he would dupe Boston Rob; they would’ve voted for him. on one hand it shows how hated Boston Rob (and by extension Natalie) was and on the other hand, Phillip could’ve won using the Loudmouth strategy (same thing that got Evil Dick the win in Big Brother).
I highly doubt that they would have voted for Philip. Juries lie all the time about being on the fence. They have their minds made up before the finalist even plead their case.
@@lrockyfan5106 I could see it. The jury HATED Rob and Natalie is the biggest goat in Survivor history. All 3 lose a jury vote to all 9 others who make the merge, but I could see Phillip pulling an upset over Rob with the right jury speech just due to how hated he was by the end, and Natalie doesn't even exist and would lose even in a Final 1.
@@lrockyfan5106 It wouldn't be a pro Phillip vote. It would be an anti Rob vote. And I could see it just due to how hated Rob was by that jury. As it turns out Phillip even with his awful FTC, and being an extremely hated guy already who virtually did nothing in the game either other than his supposed be the goat plan, still did beat her at FTC even after cussing out the entire jury, LOL!

Say what you will about the overall season, but the story of rob on this season is a truly incredible story (and said story is the best part about this season). I may get flak for this, but robs game here is the best winning game in survivor history imo. His win is the only time where someone had the entire game on lock all the way back from the final 11, which someone like Kim did not achieve until the final 7. While RI is certainly not the best season out there, seeing rob do so well makes for an incredible story, which makes this not the worst season imo
Oh absolutely! Rob played a masterful game! Sacrificing Matt, flushing out Ralph and Christina’s idols, keeping Phillip and Andrea under control, all examples of brilliant strategy! The problem is being one of only two veterans on a season full of noobs makes it look like Rob was playing on easy mode.
Kim had her season on lock the day they set foot on the island, LOL! And Rob didn't have the win on lock until he got to Final 3 with Phillip and Natalie, the only two he can even win agaisnt, so literally not until Day 38. Wouldn't even put Rob's win top 10 all time, maybe not top 15.

Yeah right. Imagine having Robs threat level plus the fact that there’s only two returning players and they still don’t vote him out. That’s just good game play. Russel wasn’t able to do it this season. Kelly Wentworth did good but not nearly as good as Rob, she also didn’t win.

Phillip was funny, but his wannabe Coach-like antics just got too grating and everyone else was a pedestrian for Rob to steamroll
Probably my least favourite season. The gameplay is so boring and the characters are a whole lot of nothing, we got andrea out of it, who is a fun character who happens to play on bad seasons everytime, but the rest is so mot fun and it made me dislike rob a bit because it was so boring.
Rob played brilliantly, but his masterful ability to control the game is overshadowed by the fact that the season was fixed for Rob to play on easy mode.
@@ryhi5there were multiple times that he may have gone home or been close to if he didn't win immigrants nity when needed. You can maybe say redemption island was so rob can come back but him never even needing it shows his skill. (I'm not glazing)

Tbh they probably would’ve edited Ashley similar to Sophie’s edit in South Pacific if that would’ve happened.
Literally the only season ever where every single person who made the merge easily wins a jury vote over all 3 who made the end.
