I fell asleep with TH-cam running and woke up to this. I was intrigued enough to rewind and listened to the whole thing. Though being English, I didn’t get all the references… and I don’t know who you are….it didn’t matter a jot. I laughed, I cried, I connected to vulnerable manliness. I understood things about men I never learned in nearly 7 decades. I understood the suffering of my sons in the wake of their murdered dad (‘96) on a new level. And I learned something about the way new men in my life must have made them feel. I am antifeminist anyway, but you made me love masculinity even more. This ‘tape’ is a masterpiece of open hearted discussion. If more men did this, we’d loose fewer of them to self-destruction. Top drawer and ten out of ten, chaps! Bravo and thank you.
Men grow and mature through mistakes and failures unless men admit their mistakes they'll not grow, men will prism their mistakes through humor , there are very few acceptance movements for men as this is a way to deny too obfuscate mistakes, denying mistakes is denying growth. Feminists believe they're winning a zerosum game by denying men acceptance movements without realizing men don't want them, this is why mens comedy will remain and reign
The 90s was the Age of Gary and certain shit hit different. Why do you think the goofy movie is beloved. When Liam O'Neeson was the closest thing to a father Darth Vader (and all of us) had them gets killed by a literal devil, why do you think EP 1 is hated. We Are Sons of Gary that braved the Age of Gary
Bar kid all day! Played on my first Pac-Man table!!!! 80s babies remember when "some" bars served food and it was no thing to be in there as a kid... Just frowned upon. GO NINERS!!!!!❤️💛❤️💛
Real talk, that fresh prince clip was the saddest scene in tv history, and that AC/DC song added to it makes it one of the funniest clips I’ve ever heard.
My mum moved out so was raised by my dad, so he's no Gary but I was 100% a bar kid! I'd play pool while he sank a few pints, then we'd walk home eating a pizza... I see this as happy memories but apparently we just garbage 🤣
I’ve listened to all of the Gary chronicles before but you hypnotised me with the tape effect and I listened to the whole thing again. Pretty sure I’ll be pointing out to a therapist where Crack Lee Crackle touched me on a teddy bear in years.
I’m not a son of Gary. But my wife is a Daughter of Gary. Her dad suddenly left her mom when she was 7. Her mom had to sell the house and the cars and they moved to LA. The guy didn’t even talk to her for 15 years and when she finally talked to him he was like “I’ve got no money, I have a new family.” 20 years later I asked my wife what happened she told me “I told him off, he probably hates me… but fuck him.”
Dan had a baller life for a kid. $5 at an arcade and just ask for more? Constant toy store trips not to mention purchases. I was the kid "pretending" to play at the arcade and just "looked" at toy stores.
Dude as a little kid, once a year I got $50 from my mom's aunt, and my mom would take me on the city bus to the outlet mall and I was the fucking king of KB Toys' discount aisle for a day. It was the shit, I filled like two of the massive bags the same height as me, and my mom would get us chinese chicken and rice afterwards. I always hit the dollar store and bought a pair of sunglasses to wear the whole time, just so I could let people know what's up.
@@jefflabbecomedy the sunglasses part is so sweet. Let’s be that uncle. On the bright side, it doesn’t impart a consumerist mentality. Either that or it makes you consumerist as an adult without therapy 😂
Dan and Louis Anderson, bar kids that made it... My grandfather would take my mom on payday, she would cry and beg him to go home with what ever was left
2:04:50 Soder is making the point that he wasn’t emotionally mature enough to understand the impact of losing his dad so at the time it just felt like the 49ers losing.
38:50 The woman my dad cheated on my mom with, that made her not want to live anymore, hasn’t apologized for anything, or said she’s sorry my mom died. My dad, doesn’t even see this as an issue, he doesn’t contain empathy, but tries lol. My dad is out to lunch and doesn’t understand emotion. One one hand I want to punch his nose to the back of his head, and on the other I want to shake his hand for ending an abusive cycle of Gary.
The second clip with jay’s dad calling in is a top tier moment in show history
Hilarious and relatable.
This is the greatest program to ever bless satellite radio
Never heard of Ron and Fez?
@@brandendierker5873 garbage sense of humor

I love how their imitation of his dad, is the same as Corey Feldman!
“James....” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’M FUCKING DYING!!!
This healed my depression during the pandemic. Glad to reVisit it.
I love this because it's honest and open, and no amount of success can really bury the pain of some of those experiences.
So much content lately can't get enough crackle!
It's nice not having viacom to shut it down on TH-cam!!!

Clayton, NY, yo!
Yup Northeast Philly in the 80’s
Spent much of my childhood in a bar, downside I'm a pretty bad alcoholic, upside I'm a great pool player.

Your the man LEE for uploading these over and over everytime they get pulled.
"If I get you a rum and coke will you be cool?" "Arrrrrrr.....uh-huhhhhh."
Listening to Dan talk is giving me chills. The Buckhorn roadhouse was my Caledonia’s
The Swan & Firkin was mine. They had a pinball machine and Top Shots Golf.
What a listen, the Bonfire rules
Damn, that Fresh Prince clip hits right in the feels.

I'm a son of a Kenny. Grew up next to my gutterturd uncle Gary though!
If you’re from the east side of Denver you went to bars as a child. Fact.
Zombie Gary is the best
I have a useless stepdad named Bill. He gives off massive Gary energy.
Crackle you're a legend
My dad shoulda been named Gary. My mom dragged me to so many bars between 10 and 13
JAMES!
WHY THE FUCK DID THEY SAMPLE THAT IN THE BEGINNING? That scene always make me cry.
The funniest part of this whole video is you editing the bert part at "I'm thinking about dumbing down my act." Mid-thought. 1:54:55
I just wanna give a shout out to us campers that are "The Sons of Tony". A very similar breed to Gary
Holy fuck they waited at the window for his headlights too. 😢 Damn that one made me feel it for sure.
