She is a transgender woman. Although I agree she looked lovely before, the surgeries would’ve been to decrease her dysphoria and make her feel better about herself in general.

I think she IS contented with who she is. She is a young woman who wanted surgery to make her outward presentation match her soul on the inside. Now it does and she can just live the rest of her life without feeling gut punched when she passes a mirror. Despite great odds, and the opinions of a bunch of people who have less than nothing to do with her, she made her outside match her inside. All is in alignment now, and that is the ultimate in being steadfastly loving and respectful to yourself.
