The Glorious Qur'an has no mention of the Imam, but our beloved prophet Muhammad salalahu alaihi wasalam speaks of his coming and how he will look and how he will come. Salah is also not in the Qur'an but we find the rules and regulations time table's and in full descriptions and explanation of everything that deals the teachings of the sunnah and many more in authentic Ahadiths.

Those who claiming the imam Mehdi. What is their divine charter ? Syddena yassin bin Abdullah.. Bangladesh.( two kinds of divine in the hole Qur'an. 1) days divine. 2) nights divine. Days divine time is over over. The night divine running time is now by khalifa of Allah 💯. Divine time accept judge didn't of Allah 💯. So need divine imam of all the human.)

So if the abbasids used black flag to mean they were mahdis , hence we cannot reject the hadith as true, however what if any other army for instance ISIS or AL Qaeda use black flags to convince that Mahdi will be amongst them? if not them any other army pretending to army of Mahdi would use balck flag to take advangtage of "confirmation bias". Then how would one know for sure which black flag bearing army would be Mahdi army. Furthermore how is that makes three ahadith that were classified by the original muhaditheen to be weak and putting together all weak ahadith make the concept stronger. This neither fair nor logical conclusion. Keep repeating that Abbasids used black flags does not make it any digestible to accept that these weak narrations are talking about authentic concept of black flag. We have seen so many false flag operations fooling muslims in our recent time. ISIS used black flags in the same light even more they used the seal of the prophet on their black flags and establised mockery of the "Khilafah". We just can't be bitten by same snake like groups by relying on false and weak narrations when clearly muhaddithoon has classified weak. And Yasir Qadhi keeps on repeating his narrow minded reverse engineering logic that Muhadithoon have classified these ahadith after the abbasids used black flags in retrospect which is not the case yet he mentions that these narrations were classified as weak even prior to abbasids so which of these facts are to be relied upon the pre or post abbasids , regardless these ahadiths about black flags and mahdi were all classified weak. Only people who have weaker iman , weaker knowledge, weaker patience and weaker understanding would take their weaker strength from weaker narrations and how would a weaker ummah ever flourish and rule the world that is why we are living in this weakest state of existence day by day.
There is three ways if you want to confirm the real/original Mahdi(Note : i'm terrible at remembering hadith reference but i'm good at imagining the pictures of the outcomes just after knowing the authentic hadith)
1. He doesn't want to take the responsibilities and he will ran away three times from Mecca to Medina then Medina to Mecca because of the conflict at that time. (Which also makes sense to one of the hadith mentioned that there will come a time when three sons of khalifa will fight one another for the leadership. Basically modern day Saudi Arabia)
2. His name will be the same as Prophet PBUH and his father's name will be the same as Prophet PBUH father. So in this case his name will be Muhammad ibn Abdullah OR Muhammad bin Abdullah.
3. This is major confirmation that no one can't deny of the real Mahdi. An earthquake or sinkhole will swallow an army that came to kill the Mahdi at the land of Baida(somewhere in Medina). So this is also makes sense because a lot of Muslims this days confused which is the real army so maybe they thought this Mahdi in Mecca is false. Again, the real Mahdi won't say he is Mahdi nor he wants to take the responsibilities. He will be force to(some narrations said the people in Mecca, Allah will tell them maybe in a dream or an instinct/fitra that they must find this man)
There's still many ways to identify the original Mahdi. But some hadith is weak and we can't confirm whether it's true or just bida(made up).
The real Mahdi won't know he is the one. This is one of the authentic hadith that mentioned : Allah will make him repent in one night. Which totally makes sense, he probably doing some crazy things out there that we usually do(meaning not pious). But Allah will make him pious in one night.
Then picture that : as the Mahdi repent in one night he will go to Mecca possibly to do hajj/pilgrimage. Then when he goes there, the people(Allah's chosen searcher) will try to find this important man and asking what's his name and father's name. When they did find the real Mahdi they will force him to do bai'ah(like responsibility/duty) but the Mahdi will rejects it. So he ran away from Mecca to Medina. Just as he arrives in Medina he will saw the same (some said conflicts or the usual "baiah") then he ran away again three times back and forth. So in the end, he had no choice but to take it, and many people will come to him to pledge allegiance.
As you well known, the news will spread globally and what do you know? An army(Allah knows best) will march/going to Mecca but unfortunately for them Allah will caused the earth to open up and swallow them leaving only 1 or 2 witness. Prophet PBUH mentioned even the people who do business/trade at the area also gets swallow. The witness who survived will go back to Mecca or Medina possibly to tell the people/public that an entire army has been swallowed by the earth(earthquake or sinkhole but in my opinion it is possibly sinkhole like huge one)
Finally that's how you confirm the real Mahdi. No one can harm him nor kill him and neither he wants to be the Mahdi

It looks like you have not read my comment properly, I am not saying Mahdi is not going to be real. I am pointing out fallacy and incorrect logic to suppport weak hadith about Mahdi using Black Flags as a theme.
@@OursIslam We never know what the flag is going to look like or used during that time for the Mahdi or maybe he's not going to use one(Allah knows best). Sure, many Muslim jihad(some were extremist/evil) used black flag based on a hadith mentioned in the end times like ISIS, Al-Qaeda and etc. But we can't make such assumption based on it. It will cause more confusion than what the original outcomes will be (only those who lived at that time will know).
So whatever happens let Allah decides.

My perception
To determine who is al-mahdi or not is very difficult, the answer is WAIT & SEE The fact is that in my country, Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, but the behavior of Shirk is terrible. Whereas Shirk is the biggest sin because it competes with ALLAH. I am intrigued by Muhammad Qosim's dream about Allah saying: "Muslims take it lightly ABOUT SHIRK'S BEHAVIOR BUT ALLAH IS VERY SERIOUS WITH SHIRK" IMAGINE IF RASULULLAH WAS CRYING IF YOU REMEMBER THE STRUGGLE WHEN THE RASULULLAH pbuh WAS BLEEDING AND THE PROPHET IBRAHIM AS TO BE BURNED ALIVE, THE RELIGION OF IBRAHIM AS AND MUHAMMAD pbuh HAS BEEN A LOT OF DIRTY AND BROKEN. Only MECCA Area the pure place, free of Shirk. That is a blessed place. In western countries and other countries many people think "Time is money, money is everything, if there is money then everything is fine, this kind of thinking is very dangerous because they think money is GOD. We have to change the mindset to be that because of God's help I get money. That the way ir should be. You are unlikely to recognise the Holy One from God if your focus is on a literal interpretation of prophecies and hadiths. The ONLY one who knows the meaning of prophecies is God. He will explain it to you through the Holy One He sends. But if you have already made up your mind about how the Holy One comes, you will instantly reject Him and His claims and deprive yourself of the right interpretation.

The closest we can come to someone who could be The Mahdi is ‘Ahmer Wali’. Full name ‘Ahmer Rasool Wali’. His grandfathers name is Abdullah and his maternal grandmothers name is Amina. He has 44 similarities with the Mahdi. The marks on his body, his complexion, a prominent aquiline nose, moles and marks etc described exactly in the Hadiths. He lives in Indian Kashmir. He had dreamt of all this 18 years ago and just recently realised that he has the same marks after reading about The Mahdi. He has witnessed miracles too.
