Our car no.70 started to suffer like many others just after Ole Poles over the swampy Suswa.Red mud soils were waiting for us after it rained within Longonot Limuru slopes and we got bogged down.It took us almost two precious hours from the quagmire and on reaching Kisii town had already lost so much time and the car was quite tired. We limped back to Nairobi tired and disappointed and for more rallies later.
It was a good video. Lancer driven by Joginder Singh As a child, I have seen it in a dirty state as it is How hard the safari rally was I was amazed at my child's heart. At that time in Japan you can watch foreign races Because I could not do it, what I saw at this age was I was really happy.
Singh raced a Lancer for Mitsubishi and it looks like he was still in an earlier model like 1974 because of the straight up tail lights. I am making a copy of his #46 car so that's how I know. I think he was a Lancer dealer at this time too. I think he won in 1976.
i know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me

Love the Stratos, but those Escorts sound amazing.
This rally was dearly loved by all kenyans... You couldn't find any hater. It was such a thrill they would drive for 3days thru Easter holiday
Racing in blue jeans, shorts and tee shirts. Got to love it.
These cars were more stronger than what we get today
Agreed! And more heavy duty!
Tks fr uploading
When rally was truly rally.
Back when Speed showed awesome rally content
Those revs in Ford's
That was a real fantastic rally

Modern rally cars couldn’t last a distance like this with all the obstacles and conditions.
I remember this, I was 9 years old .lol
Think I was there as a six year old. Joghinder Singh was my first sports hero and I love the Alitalia Lancia Stratos👊🏼👊🏼🇰🇪🇰🇪
Holy shit no helmets? Thats ballsy
They had a lot of faith in those harnesses and t shirts
The Stratos guys had helmets tho
I doubt today's cars would fair well on this one. This was a tough Rally Race. Breaking the best of em
Jean-Marie Balestre killed this best in the world sport prematurely! Every racer understands the risks involved and sign up to it!

I rembr datsun 1600, mitsubishi lancer ford cortina, escort etc
If those cars were capable to withstand the roughest roads of africa then they could defenitly witstand anything
日産の4連覇時代が良かったですね。
9:14 mat is drifting calmy
So sad these rallies are gone in WRC due the manufacturers stupid whining.
today’s cars are 🧸
Why not showing the other finishing teams?
Agreed, makes me sick of just focusing on foreigners. I want to see more of our own home guys.
damn, rally is so boring these days
They would do like 6,000 km in 4 days, rallying no longer exists
Rally has been watered down to accommodate the soft and mummy Boyz of this generation
Ikr, it's just not as hardcore as it used to be
