From the stage select, to the likes of Magnet Man, Top Man, and Snake Man, all the way to Dr. Wily's Fortress 3-4, this game has some of the most memorable tunes of the NES era! And from the title theme alone I can already tell this next wave of redone remixes is gonna be a BANGER!! Can't wait to hear how the rest of the soundtrack turns out! =D
Capcom thinks so too. In the Legacy Collection. All the menu music is from 3. Usually 2 gets more love since it is to this date the best selling in the series as a whole. But it shocked me when all the music was from 3. I still say 3 is the best of the series despite it being the first one I ever played as a kid.
