I was 17
I also saw them in 1974 -- Berkeley.
i remember first hearing this while in rehab and fell in love with it since. spoke to me in a dark place and speaks to me now.

Still is to me--saw him in concert twice this year--first time live, and fell totally in love...again...still...
He looks like he is having fun, and that's all that matters. on a side note, this song is brilliant and was recorded by canadian artist Anne Murray (a former school teacher). it was a hit. both versions are so good!

I knew his brother, a dentist, and used to run with him. Kenny always visited his brother and his family. They both had souls. Sadly, his brother died of an unknown heart ailment and left a wife and three daughters behind.
His brother had a son named, Colin.
Back in the 70s or so years in Manila, my older siblings played this song almost everyday. I was a grader then and up till this very present I still play Mr. Loggin's songs. They are in my playlist in my car. Can't get over "What a fool believes".

Kenny logging, I got to see up close and personal at castle air for base in the 1980s, I will never forget with my former fiance.he, his songs were the soundtrack of my life.i never saw my life leading me into the air force,let alone the soundtrack to top gun, my first base overseas as he just reles3d the 1st top gun soundtrack,to the movie. I was never so influenced by any songwriter, artist, his songs held so much meaning to my life, helping me reflect, focus on what truly matters in life.the fact he was making music for children, about them, so heartfelt.to hear from him reflecting he had to fight the record co on poor corner, etc,says so much of his character.when he was with m3ssina, I thought, the music was justcok,but going on his own, was a huge turning point 5o his amazing talent, collaborations with so many others he enriched their lives. I would laugh when he had the long hair, he could play jesus! But that would be corny . Wish he would keep singing.
