The Dukes came on Friday nights. School was out for the week and just fun and play for the upcoming weekend. What a great time to be a kid. It all started with the Dukes on Friday night.
Country music back then was country. Singers dressed normal and music was the best. Country singers and music today, can't hold the candle to the greats. I have seen how these new country singers dressed today, they look like gothic with tattoos all over their bodies with weird color dyed hair like blue. They're not not country singers and they are a disgrace to the real traditional singers. Dukes of Hazzard is my favorite show I was growing up . The show brings back memories when I was a kid.
Indeed... It was a time when the aroma of home cooked meals would drift through unlocked screen doors... And the TV guide gave us all the information we needed, so that we could properly schedule and line up our entertainment. Life was good ✨
It's sad to know we can't bring this back. Indeed... It was a time when the aroma of home cooked meals would drift through unlocked screen doors... And the TV guide gave us all the information we needed, so that we could properly schedule and line up our entertainment. Life was good ✨
This brings back memories back when TV's weighed 400 pounds and were the size of tables lol !!!!! And me getting whoopins with a switch lol the good ole days
Heck yeah bro, and the TV was made out of wood like material or had a wood like frame, and it sat on the shaggy carpet floor.... and yeah definitely getting whooped with a switch. I can hear my mom now.... " boy go get a switch from outside and it better not be a small one" lol.
Well now your taking things too far, u used to be able to find about anything good or a way to punish urself and me. Boy have things gone awry. Best times ever good to hear from you.
When I was a little girl I saw the car in person and touched it. Too bad cell phones weren’t out back then so I could have captured the moment and save it
This was a great way to showcase country western greats. This is one of my father's favorite shows. I really enjoyed watching it with him on reruns. ;-)
Ben Jones says it's been 43 years .but I thought it started in 1979 and I'm 40 makes me feel kinda old like the series. can't seem to make series like this. anymore now days.
First watch the show in the early 80’s. It’s fun to watch different episodes today as your appreciation of the different parts you didn’t appreciate when you were 10 years old. Great show!!
I just watched a video last night of Tom wopat unfortunately getting a dui in real life in 2023. Tho I was disappointed, I don’t think i ever seen a more polite and honest dui stop and someone so readily accepting responsibility for his actions. Thank god no one was hurt in the situation, but it goes to show what kind of people these are, they taught us family values and the meaning of honesty, truthfulness, and friendship, and how to take your medicine when you did wrong, and Tom wopat practices that in real life and I know John Schneider is the same kinda stand-up guy. I often wonder what uncle Jesse would say about todays world…
We call that Minnesota nice! LoL 😆 just be nice and respectful and you will be treated the same way. Smile nice in case you want to run for office one day and then go on your way released on your own recognizance 😮 . Then never do it again and be thankful you didn't hurt no one.
I Love, I mean, I absolutely love the Dukes of Hazzard. We miss Denver Pyle from the Dukes of Hazzard. And all the cast like boss hog. And Roscoe pico train and everyone from the Dukes of Hazzard I Love Daisy Duke. She was beautiful. She still is to me. Can I get a like on my comment if you’re a big fan of the Dukes of Hazzard like I am thank you everyone Yeehaw.
Yo, cousin, 13th removed, here come does Hazemat Dudes, Luke Skywalker and his silver mullet, run like he'll do a traffic stop and pimp out Daisy cat !
Estos si son los verdaderos dukes de hazzard jhon snyder Tom wopard Catherine bar esos son los buenos como los adoro a todos y ese auto el general lee es una verdadera maravilla
You're missing Mel Tillis from the Coy and Vance episodes. And though it wasn't the "Speed Trap" (then again, neither was Loretta Lynn), Waylon Jennings sang "Never Could Toe the Mark" in the seventh season episode "Welcome Waylon Jennings."
Yes it was a great tv show but they took it off the air because of the confederate flag on top of the General Lee they said that it was racist I call BS but you know how people are it sucks a good show took off the air because of ignorance
Those was the good old days. Great TV shows.
Still one of the best shows ever
ya it would still be coming on tv if it was not for the black people there the blame for this
@@larrydockery7201 Democrats are to blame

In my heydays growing up as a toddler. We had to find or get our own switch out the backyard in the woods.

Love these old shows that portrait life as fairly simple
I loved these performances at the end of the shows back then when I was a kid. A lot of great musicians came through there.
We have lost so many of these wonderful actors 😕
Fun facts: The Oak Ridge Boys are the only ones to appear twice, and Roy Orbison is the only non-country singer of this group.
Seeing Loretta Lynn so soon after she died. An amazing woman.
The Best show I wish it was still on tv instead of all the killing ones
Ever heard of DVDs?
yes lol@@JohnSmith-zw8vp

This is not Rosco's speed trap
It’s the singers that got caught in Roscoes speed traps and to get out of paying a ticket they would have to play at the Boars Nest.
