Were you using different cameras or mics for the sound comparisons? Maybe the MBRP Exhaust sounds good in person, but it certainly doesn't sound any better than the factory setup, imo.
Please review AWE touring cat back exhaust. I have already bought for my Eray as I have the AWE exhaust on my ZL1 and I absolutely love it!!! No drone and idle sounds very good!!❤
Had a MBRP cat back on my focus st. Piece of junk, pipe diameter was wrong and wouldn't slip over the stock pipe. Droned like crazy (coins in my cup holder would rattle 😂). Muffler ended up splitting at the weld after 6 months. The only thing positive was their warranty policy...
I had a MBRP cat-back, I think it was over 10 years ago, on a Ram 1500. Bolted right on and was super loud even with the cats but no resonators. No complaints from me… but maybe my neighbors 😂

Honestly in person it sounds amazing. But you are right, the microphone doesn't capture it the best. Just trust me it's actually great.
Does this particular exhaust come with baffles just like the original factory exhaust does?

A friend of mine wanted to find out if the E-ray can handle a 50-100 shot of Nozzzz without needing a tune. a quick in quick out system. 😊
