More details got revealed in the newest article on PlayStation blog and other interviews:
- 100 hours of gameplay.
- The climax of this game will include The Forgotten Capital, but no Wutai until part 3.
- You will "control sephiroth in the same part as the original game".
- Not all party members will be playable until part 3 (like Cid and Vincent), but those that you can not control will be companion characters like Red XIII was in part 1. (This problaly hints that Cid will be a guest character like Red was in Remake).
- No save data transfer, but you get Leviathan for Remake and Ramuh for Intermission episode save data.
- No Wutai until game 3, but there seems to be Wutai outposts of resistance / immigrants.
