Judas Priests albums are more versatile sounding then Iron Maidens albums. Every Priest album sounds different from the other. Maidens albums sound similar..Especially the bass playing..
I love Rocka Rolla, with the exception of the Winter Songs (I’m not including Cheater here. Cheater is a great track.) I even like the title track. My favorite album is Sad Wings of Destiny.
what i've gathered is half of priest's worst moments (introduction of concept album idea + rob's departure + turbo & ram it down separation + rocka rolla) were caused by their management & record labels
As far as Turbo goes, you kinda had to be there to get how pissed us Priest fans were when it came out, being so lame especially as Thrash was at it's peak that year. That was the first Priest album I didn't get since 78, and they lost me for years. Also, without Ripper Priest wouldn't still have been around for Rob to rejoin. That's just the reality. Ripper is a GREAT singer, I saw him with British Steel in a club here in Ohio and he was the shit!!🤘
Iron Maiden has become KISS. They haven't made a decent album (Dance Of Death) in over 20 years, they lean heavily into their early catalog (to the point Nicko had to retire cause he just couldn't play the songs anymore), do legacy tours to justify playing their new music (which really sucked in 2024 when I saw them live), and are solely reliant on "Eddie The Head" (The marketing image of the band from day one) to sell all forms of merchandise.
So this "new" video stops at Redeemer. I mean I seriously dont like their last couple of Painkiller retreads as basically the Halford band featuring KK Doppelganger but the lps exist. So has the Downfall Network actually "returned"?

Since it's a reupload it would have been cool to add Firepower and Invincible Shield at the end, two of their best since Painkiller.
