Can you help with 543xp muffler mod? U remove the baffle, drill a hole trough the muffler? But not trough the whole thing? Do you weld the baffle back on?
So to be clear you justf remove the spark arrestor and drill through to the bottom? Definitely been considering this course of action, you have convinced me
I am thinking maybe that is a non-EPA saw and with out a catalytic converter. I wonder what country he is in. All of these saw videos and nobody ever shows the serial tag for reference. I can get an EPA version for US 125 but after some reading I heard it is not a true Husqvarna by design, but rather labled Husqvarna.

Remove the deflector and make a big hole through the all layers
Braze a new deflector
