Great video here. I own both the (USA) Echo 4910 (same as the 501) and the RedMax 4350 (re-branded by Husky as their 543). They're both brand new '22 models, and I've run maybe 10 tanks through each. You can definitely feel a slight increase in grunt with the 4910, but the RedMax has a higher top speed. I must say, for 43cc, the RedMax is quite impressive. Looking at this video, I'd have to give the nod to the "Husky". The handling geometry and overall feel are very similar between the two saws, but the RedMax feels slightly lighter, with less reciprocating mass. My Echo was packaged with a 20" 325 bar, but I generally use a 16", and it really pulls the shorter bar well. I also have a Sugihara 18" for the Echo, but have yet to use it. I've only used the stock 16"/325 bar/chain combo on the RedMax, which is what it came with in stock trim. If I was only cutting limbs, I'd buy the Husky. If I was cutting a combination of stuff and bucking firewood, the Echo would be it. Both are awesome saws. Both respond quite well to a basic pipe modification and/or a mild woods porting job. It's pretty easy to get 5HP out of that Echo. Ditto for the 4350.
More precisely, it's '100% made in Japan' (Echo cs501sx) vs 'made in Japan' (543XP)... Now only the last significant production process matters for that 'made' ... a 'made' can also be given by the packaging process but '100% made' means that everything was made in Japan. Intadevar Zenoah is located in Japan, Husqvarna in Sweden and most of the parts are made in China. Echo cs501sx is 100% made in Japan...(Editat)Restabiliți originalul

Got a 501 last fall and have used it quite a bit since. Some fines getting by the air filter is my one and only complaint.
