This stuff hits. I cycled through Saudi Arabia in february and march 2020 just before corona hit. A nomad also invited me to stay in his tent in the middle of the dessert. It was an amazing experience, and a really nice contrast to all the other homes I was invited to sleep in. Awesome that you found a guy, that appreciate the increase of welfare and technological development in the country even though the sacrifice for this development is that parts of the culture he's living in slips away. That's a guy who reflects on both pros and cons of what's happening in life. Saudi people are unique!

Drew.. in Saudi Arabia there are many and distinctive stories that the traveler did not talk about in the TH-camr .. such as the signs and symbols of the Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, the art of making Sadu, the art of Arabic calligraphy, the manufacture of Moringa oils, the most expensive food and medical oils in the world, the Taif Rose Festival, one of the most expensive essential oils or the cultivation of wheat In a primitive way in Al-Qassim and big festivals such as Souk Okaz, Al-Janadriyah Festival, camel beauty festival, Arab horse racing or folk dances, which differ according to the different Arab tribes on the island, as well as the many archaeological sites, some of which belong to the prophets such as the caves of Shuaib or the ancient villages, which contain many beautiful stories.. Old Arab Stories The story of Hatem Al-Taie, Antara, Jamil Buthaina, Qais and Laila, which deserves to be one of the most important Hollywood films.
Saudi Arabia holds many records in several areas such as: the tallest fountain in the world, the largest oasis in the world, the largest date market in the world, the largest camel market in the world, the largest olive farm in the world, the largest palm farm in the world, the largest hotel in the world, etc. ..
Saudi Arabia is not just oil, desert, and Mecca, and Medina is a continent with many locations and comparative advantages.

To venture out in the middle of the desert, and to learn and associate yourself with people who have a different way of life, just encapsulates what traveling is all about and you do it better than anyone else. I saw the report today and it is unfair and shows Qassim as just desert, Bedouins and camels. Meaning he gave a traditional stereotype about Saudi Arabia. It seems that Sarah, who appeared with him in the video, was the one who coordinated the visit for him, assuming that Qassim had deserts and camels. The response now is too late and will not help. I am from Buraidah, and there is no doubt that a person who belongs to a city with a million inhabitants like me, feels unfair. But this does not prevent one from admiring the people of Unaizah’s attempt to grap the attention to their town in every way, even though they know that no one knows about it.

Even if there's a country that has rules you disagree with, many people around the world are still nice people, because most people want what you want, which is peace with their families, friends and loved ones. We get to see a different side other than what bias media reports tell us and we learn that there are so many great people to meet. Sure, every place has it's ugly sides, but most people, deep down, are good people.
