The jewelry set is beautiful, I wonder if my daughters would like it., the Miss Revlon doll I love my mom bought me mine in early 60’s . She was so loved her clothes literally fell off. Thank you reminding me of my memories of my love for dolls.

I have many ancestors from WV and they were either coal miners or railroad people. I now must look a bit more into WV history! Thank you George for so much wonderful information! Yes, it's true! West Virginia made lots of beautiful table and housewares because they had cheap natural gas to run the kilns. Unfortunately, our wars in the Middle East have done away with most of them, when the cost of fuel soared during the early 2000s it killed off much of what was left there

Weiss was a badger, not a jobber; they didn't have a factory and had other companies put their name on things. The rivoli set, btw isn't watermelon rivoli; watermelon is one color in the center and another further out - pink and green or green and pink. And yes it makes a difference in price. The rainbow colors are often painted onto the back of clear stones.
