But honest to god I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you guys your channel is absolutely incredible. I was worried when I saw you'd be covering Skinwalker Ranch because it's been done and done again, but you managed to cover many details I'd never heard before. You have great research, artwork, music, and writing. The voice over is also very well done and refrains from annoying jokes/non-puns and writing cliches. Best of all, I've seen such an improvement since your earlier work and you continue to engage with fans in the comment section. It's clear you have a passion for this content. You guys are an absolute blessing on TH-cam and the only channel I can truly say I cannot wait for an upload from. The quality is unreal. ALL of the information covered in this video is in the book "Hunt For the Skinwalker" by Colm A. Kelleher Ph.D. published back in 2005. The author is one of the researchers hired by Robert Bigelow to live on the ranch once he purchased it from the Shermans. They reveal some of what happened to them on the ranch but NOTHING was ever resolved. A lot of the weirdness just stopped.

I think that reaction is more of a "holy shit don't eat me, nice puppy" type of thing. Cuz big dogs are scary AF if you don't know them and they don't know you, and they get close. So you try to pet it in hopes that it stays docile. Trust me, I’ve had a very similar thing happen with a big ass German Shepard. It did NOT stay docile. It bit the back of my thigh twice and pierced the skin. And I hate dogs now, especially big ones.

Not sure about the state's specific laws but in Europe it's pretty common that the previous owner or a local government can include things like that in a contract. It's usually about the roads and open spaces that cannot be altered or closed regardless of who owns them. But even then digging 'ban' is impossible to enforce.

A friend of mine told me a story about something like this once. He and some friends had gone out to the desert to do some shooting, and, rather than go home, decided to pitch a tent for the night. They turned in to go to bed, but were disturbed right before they could by to the sound of footsteps out in the camp. They shouted out, asking who or whatever it was to identify itself. Silence. Nothing ran off, the footsteps just stopped. Guns in hand, they poked their heads out of the tent flap, but they didn’t see anything, or even any footprints. Tired and confused, they decided to go back to sleep. Then, in the dead of night, they were jolted awake. Something was attacking their tent seemingly from all sides, making all kinds of inhuman noises. The guys charged from their tent and unloaded their weapons into the darkness. When they’d spent their ammo, they sat, and waited, and listened. Nothing. They closed up the tent, but this time they didn’t dare go to sleep. They reloaded their weapons and sat back to back for the remainder of the night, terrified of whatever it was that was hounding them. As dawn broke, they allowed themselves to relax and leave the tent once more. They could find no sign of whatever had attacked them that night. No footprints, nothing. Then, as they were packing to leave, one of them found their shell casings. They were sorted by type and stacked into organized piles under a nearby tree. Needless to say, they never went out there again.
Edit: Two things I forgot to mention: One, that I was camping out in the same desert at the time when I was first told this, only I didn’t have a tent. Two, that the guys had supposedly been telling skinwalker stories before they went to bed (which is why this relevant at all). Apparently saying the word in any language is supposed to call them to you. The asshole telling the story said it as often as he could while telling it, both in English and one of the Native American ways to say it.

Skinwalkers are not just a phenomenon in the USA. The ancient Anglo- Saxons who came from Northern Germany to settle in England in the 5th century onward brought tales of the "Sceadugengan" with them, the "Shadow Walkers". These moved silently, half- seen through the lands, mysterious creatures that could change their shape and form, from wolves to men, then to eagles. They were neither alive nor dead, they were beasts of the night from the shadow world. These tales are thousands of years old.

Yes, Cornwell does mention the "sceadugengan" in his historical novel series "The Last Kingdom", but he is actually taking reference from the ancient "Beowulf" saga, in which the "Shadow Walkers" are mentioned. This means in fact that these paranormal weird entities must have been a known part of Anglo-Saxon/ Danish folklore - it would make no sense for an ancient "skald", or bard, to refer to hellish demon- like monsters nobody had previously ever heard of.

I have a personal experience with skinwalkers in my past.
Before the 2nd grade (2007). My mother took me and my sister to Washington D.C for a Native American event called,”the longest walk”. The event was multiple tribes walking from L.A to D.C, my uncle Renaldo was part of the event.
I remember going Maryland and meeting up with my uncle for the first time, it was my second time meeting another Navajo since i was raised in Michigan. My uncle had a religious staff from a friend he met along the way of the journey, he was a self proclaimed medicine man. My uncle even has a picture in front of the Washington memorial with the staff.
Flash forward a couple weeks and we were in Phoenix, back and forth from low mountain area in the Navajo reservation. There was a series of bad luck along the way, both financially, emotionally, and through other issues like our van breaking down in the middle of the desert and my mom guiding me and my sister with a half full water bottle, to a location where we were found by another family member by coincidence miles away.
Later we went to a medicine lady in low mountain who identified the staff as the source of evil and my mom and uncle burned it in a fire, I wasn’t around since i was with the medicine lady’s son in which i had a panic attack from negative energy. Later my mom rushed me and my sister out fleeing from something.
We fled in our van and our mom told us to not look up into the eyes of the creature, we were chased by a skinwalker, we made it to safety at my great grandma’s house.
That same week we went to Gallup for a ceremony, I remember going to a hogon and playing with a boy who was years younger than me (probably a toddler), he had a hissyfit and stormed off into a field unknown of his parents knowing.
We finally had the ceremony around a big fire in the hogon, i was my first time having a corn husk tobacco cigarette for ceremonial purpose. But eventually we heard walking on the roof and screaming outside. We had to use the bathroom in groups, luckily my insomnia kept me through the night. Later the next day was when i learned the skinwalkers and bad spirits were gone.
God bless my mother when she passed when i was in fourth grade, may her legacy live on.
All though i have another skinwalker story as well, I hope my story goes out to those Bilagáana’s who don’t understand this side of Navajos.

Skinwalkers are the spirits of evil men and women who destroyed ancient civilizations in the North American continent. The real location of our first parents, Adam and Eve was nowhere near the Middle East nor anywhere in the eastern hemisphere, they actually lived in North America and the Garden of Eden was located in the heart of the North American continent in the state of Missouri. Skinwalkers are the spirits of those who rebelled against God and their parents Adam and Eve and lived wicked lives prior to the Great Flood. Since the Great Flood, God has commanded several groups of people to leave the Old World(eastern hemisphere) where Noah’s Ark ended up after the Flood and to resettle back in the American continents. Unfortunately, those civilizations were destroyed by other evil men and women and their spirits joined the group of evil antediluvian spirits and they continue to haunt the Americas today. They are in league with Satan and his demonic forces and are able to appear in many ugly and inhuman ways looking like unknown beasts and creatures with voices of deceit and trickery. Satan and his demons possess the power to deceive us and to manipulate our flawed, mortal senses and can appear as inhuman aliens, shape-shifting beasts, balls of light, ufos and other entities.

I lean over and whisper to my dad, "I think she's at the wrong meeting" and he bursts into laughter and has to leave the room because he was causing a scene.

There are similar stories on the Batwoman/creature in Japan and Vietnam. A U. S. Marine alleges that he emptied an M-14 magazine into this winged bat creature to no avail. The bullets had no effect and allegedly " disappeared".
Theories allege that they are surrounded by a powerful electro-magnetic field OR they exist in the 4th Dimension with the ability to interact with our third dimension. The Fourth Dimension is superior to our own.
Jokes aside - I would probably soil myself if I saw the Skin walking DOG variations. Man

@@kitsulu8576 Skinwalker Ranch doesn't really have anything to do with skinwalkers. The reason it's called Skinwalker Ranch is because it's the only thing the native Americans could associate the bizarre phenomena with. I'm not saying I believe that everything that was reported to have happened at Skinwalker Ranch was true, but the involvement of the NIDS team - who were initially sceptical and carried out a series of tests to see if the phenomena could be explained naturally or rationally - leaves me scratching my head a little. I mean, these weren't a group of fly-by-night pseudo-scientists who didn't quite make the cut, they were PHD qualified professors. They had a physicist, an astrophysicist, a biochemist, a trained veterinarian for the cattle mutilations etc. Even a retired army colonel - John Alexander who definitely was a stone cold sceptic - was part of the team in charge of security and he had some weird experiences at the ranch that he just couldn't explain... It's definitely a strange one.

NIDsci found no proof after several years of monitoring, and that the previous owners of the property, who had lived there for 60 years, say that no supernatural events of any kind had happened there. Sheaffer considers the "parsimonious explanation" to be that the Sherman family invented the story "prior to selling it to the gullible Bigelow", with many of the more extraordinary claims originating solely from Terry Sherman, who worked as a caretaker after the ranch was sold to Bigelow.
Still, it is a fun tall tale.

Yeah I know like I'm 99% sure it's nothing supernatural, just the house Makin sounds from the temp change(welcome to Germany warm summers and cold ass winters) but when you're home alone and you hear noises from your roomies room when he's not there, ya tend to grab a sword (or something else for self defense) and search the place to find... Nothing.... Still creepy. Time of day don't matter.

@@danielscott1223 In my house I often hear scraching when Im in bed trying to fall asleep its the rats and mice, somethimes I hear louder noises its the cats. 2 times I have been scared by a dogs head looking in the window and door window, it took me 5 seconds to realize it was my dogs head and he just wanted to see what was going on on the inside so I let him in.
Im a person who lives in my ancestral homeland, and my ancestors stories teach that there is nothing to fear if you have weapon in hand, so I dont dear anything.
Fun fact my ancestrs used to put on wolf skins to scare the germans in to not going out at night so my people would be free atleast during the night, it was also sometimes done to take something from the lords as they would be too scared to try to stop their property from being taken, and would believe it to be lost to the supernatural and not taken by their serfs.

@@danielscott1223 Creepy indeed. In the last city I lived in, I rent a room on the second floor of an inhabitant's house who lived there as well. Weirdly enough, when she left for holidays, strange noises started to echo from below, as if someone moved chairs or something. Never happened when she herself was here.
I've always thought that a house possessed a part of its owner identity somehow and never felt the same when the said owner wasn't there. But I think this one in particular took it way too seriously.

The real horror writers the ones that invented the genre. Horror Babble is very good as well and he also knows where the real horror authors are and why they will never be beaten no worries because except for Koontz the books like the authors today are as empty of plot and all it takes to write or tell a great tale. I don't know why I felt like that, I was overwhelmed by a freaking orb floating around my head and felt that it must of been a spirit saying goodbye... I didn't tell anyone about it , it was something that you kinda keep to yourself, you know what I mean!! Turns out my best friend died in his sleep that night, he suffered a heart attack and was found dead a day later... that is the whole story ! My cousin and I encountered a blue-ish/purple orb too. It kinda resembled an amoeba/jellyfish/giant soap bubble. Basically, we were leaving a relative's house around 11:15pm. I got to the passenger door of the car first and my cousin (who was driving) was about 10 feet behind me. When I turned around to tell him to hurry up because it was cold, I saw the blue/purple thing floating above his left shoulder. He reacted immediately and swatted away at it (I didn't mention anything to him). It floated up into the branches of a nearby tree and disappeared. The crazy part is that I asked him to tell me what he saw before I told him. He described it the same way I did. We hightailed it out of there.

Driving up from Salt Lake City, you can feel the change as you get up to the high plateau through echo canyon: the cell signal goes out, the landscape becomes more bleak, physically and mentally, there's a change - it's palpable. I can't describe it but I have felt it for years as have others I know. I'm not much into this kind of stuff and only found this video because I've watched other bedtime stories. I was camping one weekend and had my family with me and my husband's cousins also, very late at night or you can say it was very early morning, about 2:30-4am I heard very very odd screaming behind our tent but sounded far way. It was a noise, scream, whatever it was I had never in my life heard before and it scared the shit out of me. I didn't want to wake anyone up because of the kids that were with us in our tent and his cousin's tent and didn't want to get the kids crying and scared out of their mind so I stayed silent. Not even two minutes of being woken up and of course now there be no way in hell I could of went back to sleep, but I heard something walk around our tent and we put a huge tarp over the tent Because we lost the cover to it somehow and this was a very large car cover tarp, probably meant for a big ass truck. Anyways it covered it well, and had so much tarp left that it draped down on the ground all around the sides and back. So it turned out to be a good alarm system that was sort of loud. It didn't wake anyone up though or as I thought that night, but whatever it was kept walking around the tent and sounded heavy like. My mind I was thinking this is a crazy ass person that just killed someone and now it's after us as well. I was relieved that it went away whatever it was. The next morning when we all was waking up except for me I was passed out from staying up like a kid who was scared because they watched a scary movie and now they are wide awake and every little noise scares them. Very paranoid like I was. My daughter woke up and asked me did I hear that scream. I thought she was asleep. She heard the same thing as I did and she kept still so I thought she was asleep. To this day idk wtf that was. I didn't hear it again the following night, or I never heard it again the many times since then, and still wondering what it could of been.

yea that story was bizarre. i've only seen 1 show about that where the 1st responders are reliving it and they show the footage of them running into traffic. So bizarre. Like that one family I think in Australia that all wigged out and disappeared on the run. People say oh it is just shared psychosis. Problem solved. For me it's like there has to be something more at play. Creepy

Wtf? The most disturbing of all is that these people didn’t leave as soon as they met a giant wolf that could teleport and all that. 🤯

Literally the biggest argument I have with these stories is that in 1995 you somehow went thru all this and never thought to buy a decent camera or camcorder to prove it was happening??? I don't believe anyone stubborn enough to stick around would also be that stupid

Ok so if equipment failed, I could understand that with just the family, but once professional researchers got involved, their would have been multiple redundancies in place, including long distance observation, multiple guard posts taking detailed accounts of anything interesting. These are standard procedures when researching anything, even mundane research

In a documentary i saw they say when aliens visit your home they often do childish things such as move things or make a mess, so when he mentioned about gwen and the groceries and towel and brush etc. it clicked in my mind.
