Kingman is my hometown, and this is sad. This area is out there, wow! I lived in the Butler area, and it was mostly dirt roads back in the eighties.
Same I moved here in 82 lots of things have changed and come to pass.
Sad to see this,I lived in Lake Havasu for 6 years, would have gladly bought one of these.

@@leticiaurbach1720 We loved Havasu,our kids are all grown, so can't really comment on that,yes summer's are hot but winter is usually in the mid 50s to mid 60s during the day.

I've been to Kingman AZ many times over the years and I seen this city grow. Those abandoned houses I noticed I would stay away from for safety reasons.
What makes you say this?
On Google map(s) the houses are located on the left side of Hwy 93, just below GoldDust Rd.......
I don't get why people traveled out of their way to the middle of nowhere just to vandalize places like this. It's mind-boggling

This would have happened with the real-estate crash of 2008.
If you decide to go back to Kingman, or are in the area, you should do a video of Fig Spring. It's even pinned on Google Maps, so it's pretty easy to find and get to.

@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 nah, I drove there in a regular small pickup in 2002. The unmaintained roads are bad, but not 4x4 bad.

@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 extremely questionable. 🤣 Rains and weathering can mess with what's exposed, and I wouldn't want you to puncture your oil pan or cause any damage to your car. Ultimately, use your judgement. I can't find any drone footage from there, only some pictures from a relator site.
@@aaronnester5132 You are absolutely right! I'll make it out there one of these days and see how far I can get....If it turns out I may need something with higher clearance.....Then I will get something with higher clearance.

Living in Kingman to be honest something like this in or on the outskirts of town wouldn’t have done well at mainly because a good majority of the people who live here don’t have alot of money unless your super lucky so the main people who would most likely move in would have be people out of state and that would just get more people mad who live in Kingman.
I could see that.....brand new homes just outside of Kingman, not too far away , but far away enough to be their own community

Cool video. I was there. I posted some drone video but I discovered that someone stole my video and was using it for real estate speculation. I did not care for that so I took it down. I did not want to be accused of using my drone to make money by the FAA.
The caretaker lives just across 93 from there. He may be able to provide you access.
BTW the road into there is used for unsanctioned drag races. The day I was there a top fuel funny car was doing time trials. I asked to film them but because I was wearing a Mohave County Sheriffs tee shirt they did not trust me and stopped running until I left. Very sad. I kept telling them I was retired and that the agency I retired from was in Pennsylvania and that I just bought the shirt but they did not believe me.

@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 Yes they fascinate me also. The fellow I was with that day was interested in buying the entire property so I was able to go into all of them. They would have been beautiful. One house had a huge walk in shower that would have had one of those rain fall shower head.

There is a well, I was just out there with the owners and some managers. The well had been vandalized and was soon covered up with plaster and such so people were unable to access it. Although it is still usable to the homes!

Have you tried going to county assessors page. It's all public info. If you have county and subdivision it should get you started. May show who owns it or manages it. All rhis is Public info.

@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 it definitely was, the gameplay footage uploaded was just a small pick up game. We once had upwards of 30+ people play here before and it was intense.. Great memories made forsure! We still play airsoft but nothing local much and honestly not much compares to sweeping thru these buildings with your buddies. I guess you could say it set a standard🤣
An abandoned neighborhood to roam through and play airsoft.....GOLD!!!......almost kind of felt like I was in Nuke Town for bit!

They would have been beautiful homes but that desert landscape is sensory deprivation in my book.
Pretty odd that half the houses are modern and the other were santa fe style.
I Used Google maps to find the address of one of these homes - then I went to the Mojave County AZ County Tax Assessor Website and put in the address and you get all the information on these homes. Easy peasy.....it's all public information to look up property ownership records.

Someone owns that property, someone is paying taxes on those properties
So the filmer you have went to Vegas,. Did you abandon the house you left,. No you are an absentee owner
Looks like a bank scam to start 10 spec houses, get them to dry-in state, then get rest of construction loans and take off.

Nope
There is water in most of the areas around Kingman, but drilling a well is not cheap. It can run upwards of $20,000 for the well, pump system, etc. if you have to go deep (1000+ feet). Most people moving to Arizona are looking for "cheap" property and having to spend $15K on a well, another $10K on a septic system, and upwards of $10K on a solar system, is not what they are interested in. Anything is possible if you have the money and determination.
It's better to ask for forgiveness than it is permission ;)
But no, seriously, if you want to "go in" you should just go in! I understand not wanting to trespass, but least me, that only actually applies to Occupied property(s)! You know, where you actually run the risk of getting shot! However these are NOT occupied, and possibly even bank owned?? I doubt anyone is going to start shooting at you for violating the "no trespassing" signs...
They intrigue me too! If I came within a few miles of this place, I'd almost Have to not only "go by" but actually "go in"! I'm 99.999% positive any "problems" or "being shot at" would Not be by the actual property owner but, rather by someone else trespassing! In which case you'd still have the legal right to self defense ;)
It's just utterly dumbfounding to me that these were built, and subsequently Abandoned! Like, why wouldn't they have been SOLD to SOMEONE!? Makes NO sense, even if the subdivision as a whole was never finished, I GUARANTEE someone would still live in those! I know I would've, especially if they are "in the sticks", actually, the further "in the sticks", the better!!!
