WOW! Bill and Elizabeth, I've been watching your channel since shortly after you began, and it is so gratifying to see all the hard work, frugality, do-it-yourself, and sacrifice bring you to this point. Your property looks great - the shed is beautiful. Your home base RV is so well maintained, insulated, and settled that ....it is says, "Welcome home!" The practical experiences that led to the upgrade (bed issues, storms in Branson, etc. led you to the wise choice change. As Elizabeth said, the bed is made. She can pop back for a quick nap without all that work. You have room to access facilities with slider in. You have room to bring family. You have trusted in God through this journey, and make wise use of the skills and talent He gave you. You are going to need a place to store a guitar and portable keyboard eventually because I see vacation jam sessions in your future! Gosh this was a long comment!

I’m so happy for your new trailer for Elizabeth and you have a regular bedroom .I am worried about Elizabeth going down the stairs and you are such a smart clever man you could probably come up with something like automatically Rails ,she can hold onto when she goes downstairs.Or Carrie two folding chairs and put them out for her before she goes down .👏🏼
There is a fold away hand rail near the stairs that works well.
When Elizabeth said you're not 25 any more, I was reminded of a favorite saying. When someone turns 40, they say "Lordy, Lordy, look who's 40!"My saying is, "Lordy, Lordy, I WISH I was 40!" I want to keep things much simpler now that I'm not pushing 50, I'm dragging 60! I used to love to go camping with just a tarp and sleeping bag for shelter, now if it doesn't have air conditioning, a bathroom, and a microwave, I'm not interested. I absolutely love to travel and see new sights, but I have a home that I have made my own, and it's only a few years until I retire, now. Maybe then I'll start traveling again, but I really do enjoy the feeling of homecoming. I'm thoroughly domesticated, I guess! Linda and I send our best to you both, and congratulations on your new cottage! I hope for many years of happy memories for you.

Bless you both, you gave that guy and his kiddies the best present ever.My son has bought up his two boys on his own since they were 2 and 3 years old, worked hard on top of running a home and the having the boys. they converted a t4 van into a camper van. This gives them week ends of fun to together bike riding hiking ect. Most of all family time. Wishing you many happy travels together x

Nice cottage with a lot more space. It was an early Father's Day gift to the dad who purchased the other r.v. Awesome how you let him purchase it for less. You'll be rewarded greatly. I figured it wouldn't take long to change to a real trailer. Hybrids are wonderful when you want something light and plenty of room. The sad part is hybrids are for the younger crowd. Not for us older crowd. Not to mention the noise you have to put up with from the canvas ends. I think you made a good choice. Have fun my friends.

Love it! You two will be so much more comfortable in the new cottage! I like the flower decor too, Elizabeth! Your kitchen, dining and sofa layout is very similar to our 2004 motorhome. It's a very comfortable space to cook in.

I live temporarily in a 30 ft travel trailer very similar to yours while I'm transitioning to a permanent house near my family. It will be my guest quarters, office, sewing room when I get moved.

LOL I miss those bloopers at the end. I am so incredibly happy for the two of you. Your RV is gorgeous! Not only is it gorgeous, but it is very accommodating. Absolutely love the decor the layout and the room. Bill, you have your own side of the bed to get in and out of. Finally no more climbing over each other. Elizabeth you have your full size bathtub and shower just like you like. I have to say this RV is beautiful. I'm ecstatic for the both of you and I cannot wait to see your travels. But one thing I'm kind of sad at is... does this mean we won't see any more snow storm winter videos? Those are my favorite videos along with these kinds. Till next time, God bless love y'all.
No more snow storms? I hadn’t thought of that. No, we’ll be home for Christmas, then head south after that. And we can’t be gone all winter because we can’t leave my dad for that long.

So nice! We have a Jayco with the same basic layout. Ours in 2 feet longer and has a 2nd slide in the back with a 2nd bedroom with bunks, a desk and 2 large drawers. It makes a 2nd full bedroom, which was important for us as we traveled with our teenage son. I live it still, but are feeling it’s bigger than we need now. I hate to part with it though, so we are hanging on to it for now.

We have a 24 ft Lance that has a Murphy bed which allows us to have both a dinette and a couch. Really nice option when you have a smaller trailer.
