Bill and Elizabeth are loyal to Dad and Barry is loyal to you. I see a pattern. You get out what you put in. I look forward to your journey! Congratulations!
I love listening to Elizabeth talk, she has such a beautiful tone, its so peaceful. Your such a lovely couple and I am excited for you both. What a lovely family you guys have, looking after Dad and Barry thinking of you both with the house. Your very blessed, wishing you the best.
I’m 59 and sometimes I forget if I’ve taken my meds. I found timer bottle caps on Amazon. If I pick up the bottle and the timer reads 23:45, I know it’s been almost 24 hours since that bottle has been opened. Time to take a pill. If I grab the bottle and it reads 2:10, I know I already took my pill that day. It’s simple and affordable.
WOW. what a change. The best thing is you get to see more of your son and grandchildren AAAAAND we get to see more of pops hopefully...... don’t worry. We will follow you two to the ends of the earth and back again. Many of us watch for you guys first and content second. Big changes, great changes and should be exciting to watch. CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊🍾🎈
I looked after my parents till they died. It is difficult giving up your life to look after dad but you will be blessed and have good memories. God bless you and your son.
What a beautiful story of family togetherness. I cried listening to that part. Dad and son and you guys all coming together near the son. This is a wonderful video of hope and promise. Thank you, Bill and Elizabeth.
Small or tiny, there really isn't much difference as it's all relative. For example, how many people live in the home can significantly effect what it's effective usable space actually is and if you use significant portions for dedicated usages like storage then that reduces the effective usable space even more. So, if not for that big back yard it wouldn't have been as big a change... While many consider anything around 1000 Sq Ft or less as tiny, just not mobile unless its 400 Sq Ft or less. ADU's, for example, are typically 800 Sq Ft or less and they are often portrayed as tiny homes. Mind, many are comparing to what they are used to, which could be over 3000 Sq Ft. So anything a third or less in size would be what they consider tiny... The average house size used to be around 1000 Sq Ft back before the 1950's but for the last 60+ years they've been getting bigger. Though, that trend has slowed since the housing bubble crash, the younger generation are still used to considering much larger homes as normal and will be the most likely to still consider your new home tiny...
We raised our two children in a house a little less than 900 sq. ft for the first 15 years of their lives. We all say that was our favorite and most loved home. ❤️
Oh thats nice, but so different for you i know. I think God open a door for you and Bills dad. I’m from Virginia it does get cold but it doesn’t last so long . Can’t wait to see videos of it. You seem so excited.... I’m so happy for you and so much more room. Praise the Lord !
God Bless you both for moving to care for your Dad! And God Bless your son & his family! You are an amazing, beautiful couple. Much love & respect... 💖🌷💕🌷💖
Exciting news! My Dad passed when I was only 14 yrs old. I'm an only child. When I met my husband , he moved in with us. Even after 4 children arrived, we have remained a 3 generation household. Now that my Mom is 86 yrs old, I've retired early (I turned 61 a month ago). I totally understand your wanting to take care of your Dad! And bless your son for helping all of you!
I think this is brilliant. You mentioned you will also age. Having room, say, if one of you ever needs a wheelchair or other equipment, you will have the room to accommodate changes. The name change is perfect. All good. May God bless you on your journey.
I’m a new subscriber, your channel just showed up over there on the right under recommended videos. Let me say...you two just touched my heart. Now I will follow you and watch as you start another chapter in your lives. What a wonderful son to have! Many blessing are sent to you, from my heart to yours. ❤️
I am speaking for myself and Im sure for thousands of others, I follow your channel because of you two great people. I am so happy for you two to have a small house staying debt free. Im excited for you two and pop. What a great son you have. Stay blessed.....
I am more impressed with Barry every time. Still very small, you'll have room for the cottage and a place to grow things. Awesome. Still living simple and free!
Change is always good taking on your dad that is great too I was an only kid had my mom and dad till the end of their earthy lives and I cherished every second. You son sounds amazing you raised him well be proud of that. Today’s kids are cut from a different cloth welcome Live simple Live Free.
So proud for you guys. I am a Granny and I know how important it is to be with your grandbabies. I've taken care of my two little ones since they were born. I know y'all will enjoy your new life. God bless all of you. And enjoy those kids!!
Congrats to you both!! The change will be good for everyone, getting to visit with the family more often... You all are very good people, need more like y'all!!💞💞 We will be here no matter where y'all move, cause y'all are so full of knowledge and became our extended family..💞💞
I'm excited that you are able to be with your family and have more livable area. Remember, life is always changing and Family comes first. We are are still here with you. Excellent Video As Always. 💯👍👍😎🇺🇸
I am so thrilled for you guys. We garden and I can everything that can be canned. You mentioned having an extra room for storage which reminded me of us and our extra room. We built shelves and have a freezer and refrigerator in our extra room. In that room we store all of our canned goods and our equipment. I just wanted to maybe give you some ideas. Congratulations, and remember what you don't grow you can always go pick at farms for instance, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and apples. The possibilities are endless and the jams and jellies are fabulous.
WOW! I am so very happy for you ALL and to be able to have your dad there is such a blessing! Bill, I would NOT have my little wood stove if I had not found your channel and that's been such a God send! I am sitting here now enjoying a nice, warm fire in it. I will always follow you two and see what you all are up to. May God shine His light on your family and I know He will bless this new chapter in your lives. You are SO LUCKY to have your family because I lost my entire family before I was even 50 and I am 56 now and I had the honor of taking care of my mom during her cancer battle and I was holding her hand as she left me to go home to see Jesus. And Elizabeth......when I grow up I wanna be JUST LIKE YOU! You two are a joy to watch and thank you for sharing your lives with all of us. GOD BLESS!
A new season of life! We, too, added a parent to our household about five years ago. We knew about 8-9 years ago that she would end up living with us, so when we were looking to buy a new house, we were looking for one that would be a good fit for her as well as us. The house we bought 7 years ago was a larger one that we were expecting but what a blessing my mom-in-law and our house has been. The Lord knew what we all needed better than we did! (Right now, not only is our mom living with us, so is our daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids while they build a house.)We are out in the country and even though we've had a garden for years, this place has been a challenge! We started with land that had never been gardened on a hillside with lots of clay so we've terraced, and added lots of compost, manure and topsoil and are still trying to add amendments that will help our garden to be more productive. The drawing of your house looks very much like our first house did which was 900 sq. feet so I think your drawing still works for a small house. By the way, when you add your dad's belongings to your's in the 900 sq ft house, your small house may feel a little smaller than you anticipated. All this to say, life is an adventure no matter what age you are and there are new things to learn and experience at every stage of life. We'll be praying for you as you sort and pack two households, move, settle into your new home and learn the area that you're moving to. Having chronic health issues myself, I'm thinking you'll be looking for new doctors as well.We are excited for you and for the new directions your channel may take.
Welcome to Virginia, my home state. In the cities, home prices are ridiculously high. Southern Virginia is cheaper and far north is nice also. You will love that the winters aren't as cold. change is good.
As one with elderly parents who live in an assisted living facility, I think it’s wonderful that you’re able to take care of Bill’s dad on your own. Both of my parents have Alzheimer’s and I’m unable to take care of them. And as a grandmother I know you will love being closer to your grandkids again! Good luck on the move and we all get to look forward to many new projects with the two of you!!
Omgoodness. Live simple live free homestead..i support it..how exciting. God is Good all the time quote by Rain Country..Your going to be homseteaders with your dad by your side. gardens, fresh veggies. Elizabeth can have flowers and fruit trees. Woohoo. Nice weather. Congratulations. Aww what a son. God bless his heart.
I paid off my house after my DH died, and I am so glad I did that. We didn't owe a lot on the house, but I still am glad I am not making payments to the bank and all I owe now is taxes and living expenses and that is such a load off my mind all the time. Sounds like you will be very happy doing what you are!
You are such precious people. You will be the same no matter where you live. You are what makes this channel special. New setting. More people. But the same core couple. Winner Winner
I'd watch you guys no matter where you live, but I have to admit I'm excited about the gardening!! :) And I'm also on a special diet for my health so I understand how important those foods you can eat are and learning to grow them and have a steady supply is invaluable. God bless you for taking care of your father. Clearly your son has also learned the same family values.
We understand, we have a 1 bedroom small house and a few years back my mom was the same way and we had a tiny house built for her in our side yard where i stayed with her till she went home to be with Jesus, you do what you need to, blessing to you all
Excited for y'all! You have much to be thankful for. God has you taken care of and always will. You are good to your Dad. I will pray for you during this change. Be safe in your travels in the process and the move. Blessings to you all. :)
Yes,I understand .I have been care giver to my dad for over 4 years and my husband was diagnosed last January with dementia,Alzheimer's.we have recently moved in with my daughter.I am 68 ,my prayers and blessings are with you both.
What a wonderful move for the two of you. Not only to be able to care for Bills dad. But to be closer to you grandchild. Congratulations. I am looking forward to see what is next for you.
Even with 3 people you will still be living tiny in a 3 bedroom 900 ft home. You are awesome people. Do what you have to do. We support you. May God bless you all & keep this move going smoothly.
900 square feet is very tiny!! You two are so sweet and wonderful. All children should take care of their parents! What an honor and how cool that your son was able to facilitate this change. I truly care for you two and pray for you with this move coming up. All blessings to you and your family. God bless
I love both of u 😙 obeying God s commandment honour your mother and father , great job, God will provide strength and wisdom to you. God bless you and your son and his family. God is good all the time. Love from India 😘
This is a very heart warming event in your life. As a visiting home health nurse I'm so happy to hear that Pops will be looked after by loving family members. I visit so many "abandoned " seniors by their family. God doesn't close one door without opening another. Consider an over night caregiver down the road. God Bless you and your family my U tube friends
That's nice that you are doing this to take care of your Dad. I had my Mom live with me and my husband the last year of her life. It wasn't safe for her to be on her own any more either and all my siblings knew my Mom probably even wouldn't have lived a couple of months in a nursing home. She would have run away from one and probably been hit by a car or got lost and hurt. So I quit work and stayed home with my Mom and looked after her. Not all older adults do well in nursing homes.
Thats so nice to see family taking care of the older folks. God Bless both of you for looking after your Pop. I have a question off the subject, I think your wife has an autoimmune condition? well to make this short, I was told I suffer the same thing, much pain all over the body and eyes and organs are full of inflammation. Now Im seeing a lot of my hair is falling out ! would your wife know anything about this? Thank you very much and God Bless
Sounds like you may have Lupus like me. It can cause your hair to fall out, but other autoimmune diseases may also do the same. Go and see a Rheumatologist to get thoroughly evaluated for a diagnosis and treatment. Sending prayers.
I understand your concerns. My mother passed last Wednesday at the amazing age of 95. Thank goodness her mind was sharp till the end. And Virginia is wonderful, but I'm sure you already know that. I live in the Charlottesville area :) Our Lord is SO merciful- when he closes one door, he opens another. Have faith and pray without ceasing. Be Blessed!!
Good on you for putting family first. Take pride in the fact that you have taught the same compassion to your son. Good luck on your new adventures. Take care.
Oh my, I'm overwhelmed with emotion. Happy emotion. I am so happy for you all. The support and love within your family is beautiful. May God carry you through this next season of life while holding your hand as you hold your own fathers hand through the next season of his life.
Tiny House is still fine in my opinion. I believe you said about 900sqft and 3 bdrm. In today's day and age that is easily still within the realm of "Tiny"
Technically, a Tinyhouse is 400 square feet or less. (Because under 400 has no build code inspections.) If we kept Tinyhouse Prepper, people would accuse us all the time about click bait because we now live small - not tiny!
It’s a tiny house in my thinking! Will be sad to see you move, will miss your tiny house. But you will be caring for your family, something you will always be glad for.
Awwww I'm sooooo proud of both of you for the decision to take care of your Pop!!! He is blessed to have you and God will bless you for your faithfulness to your father!!! I'm happy for ALL of you. Love & God's blessings to you!!! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Families needs change and it is our role to prepare for one another. Heavenly Father definitely inspired everyone to make this move. Be blessed in All your Adventures. Praise the Lord...🙏🏻💕
God Bless you for taking care of Dad who took care of you back in the day... Don't worry about ANYTHING. Live YOUR BEST life God has for you at any given moment. No apologies necessary!!! In this world, one thing we can count on is that THINGS CHANGE....
This is a good time for people to close ranks with family. I'm sure God is in your move. Here's are some tips for your garden: focus on perennials as much as you can. Fruit trees, asparagus, rasperries and so on. Choose cold resistant varieties. Plant wild edibles which many people do not recognize as food, like dandelions, chicory and lamb's quarters ( wonderful spinach substitute that reseeds itself). Try to avoid those long rows that spell "vegetable garden" to the casual observer. Mix it up. Plant herbs here and there. And enjoy yourselves. Adam and Eve were created to work in the Garden. It's still in our DNA. It just feels right! God bless you!
I just adore you both! You roll with the circumstances, and most important...you are taking care of your DAD!! I did this in my 20's when it came to my Grandma...she moved in with us, and it was a total blessing. My Gum Gum died when she was 82 yrs old....and guess what, she knew we had her back....This is the type of gift, that simply brings so much peace, comfort to all that are entering the later stages of life. AWESOME, AWESOME...and BLESSED.
Dear Miss Elizabeth and Mr Bill, Congratulations! I wanted to send Blessings to you both and to your Beautiful family! It is amazing how much our life's parallel! As life changes many things change! We too, had lost everything after the crash and then my husband was diagnosed with a degenerative bone and disk condition! And we found ourselves not sure what to do or where to go! Then my husband's parents both got sick ( both in their 70's) and my parents are pretty much the same as his are! So we now live in my husband's GRANDMA house just one block from them in a Small 850 sq.ft trailer! Not tiny but small and there is 6 of us here in our home! Our children and a friend of our son that was homeless at age 17! We prep and garden and do the canning thing as well! I guess my point is that you both hold family so dear to you and that is one of the main reasons We love you all so much! So, maybe you could add FAMILY IN YOU NEW NAME! FAMILY... LIVING SIMPLE AND FREE!!! Just a thought! Anyway, no matter your name your mission is amazing, honest, truthful, informative and Simple LOVING! GOD BLESS YOU DURING THIS TRANSITION AND EVERYDAY!! SO VERY HAPPY FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY ❤️
Bill and Elizabeth are loyal to Dad and Barry is loyal to you. I see a pattern. You get out what you put in. I look forward to your journey! Congratulations!
I agree well said God bless you both

Raised Bed Gardens.
Save Your Back !
Much love, prayers, & best wishes. Elizabeth I see a slimmer face.
Raised bed - planning on it! 😎
Fantastic suggestion
We do raised beds, and we love it!

Thanks Wendy, never heard if it before. Will check it out..

I'm SO happy for you 2....Virginia is for lovers :) LOL
🔥 *God Blesses his children.* *Your son is a Blessing.*
I looked after my parents till they died. It is difficult giving up your life to look after dad but you will be blessed and have good memories. God bless you and your son.
My parents are in that stage right now, staying with my 94 year old grandpa.
What a beautiful story of family togetherness. I cried listening to that part. Dad and son and you guys all coming together near the son. This is a wonderful video of hope and promise. Thank you, Bill and Elizabeth.
Same from me.
From tiny to small house. Could not happen to nicer people, God bless and good luck with the move. :)
Omgosh, I love how God works his plans for us. This sounds great. So happy for you.
900 sq. ft. IS still tiny, just not AS tiny 😊
Blessings upon your move and this new season of your lives 😍
Yup. Not tiny... small. 😀

We raised our two children in a house a little less than 900 sq. ft for the first 15 years of their lives. We all say that was our favorite and most loved home. ❤️
I didn't know it was possible to have so much love in your heart for people you don't even know! 🤗😘
Aww.
I agree..
What a blessing this is for everyone!
Oh thats nice, but so different for you i know. I think God open a door for you and Bills dad. I’m from Virginia it does get cold but it doesn’t last so long . Can’t wait to see videos of it. You seem so excited.... I’m so happy for you and so much more room. Praise the Lord !
Congrats, God wispers his angels carry.

LITTLE HOUSE Prepper, then keep the same intro ❤❤❤
That’s still tiny compared to 98% of Americans !!
God Bless you both for moving to care for your Dad!
And God Bless your son & his family!
You are an amazing, beautiful couple. Much love & respect...

There is nothing more important than family...Blessings to all of you! ❤️
My prayers are with you and I know this is a good thing for you both!🙏🏾
This is a very heart warming event in your life.
I am SO happy for you guys! What a blessing. You raised a WONDERFUL son! I think this is such a wonderful opportunity for you. so happy!
HEY, A GREAT CHANGE FOR THE BETTER !! BLESSINGS TO ALL 😊 💕
That property is BEAUTIFUL!!! Congratulations! You 2 have come a long way! God Bless You!!!
God bless now your my neighbors I live in Virginia for the past five years car insurance is half of what I paid in Ct nicer weather too
And gas is 30-40 cents cheaper!
You are the nicest people on the planet! Everything is working together for good!!!
All the best with the move! Elisabeth, you look great!
Very exciting for you all! Wonderful that you are taking care of Dad and the grandchildren will love having you near!!
Congratulations! What an honorable thing to do to take your dad in. Growing a garden sounds like a promising idea. Merry Christmas! Happiness, Teresa
What a wonderful change for you all! Closer to your son and family, helping out Bill's dad, and gardening. A new adventure!
good luck i pray you will be able to carry the lessons over and stay simple and free
We plan to!
Your dad is indeed a very lucky man and the two of you will feel so happy that you've made him a priority. God Bless you all.
Families needs change and it is our role to prepare for one another. Heavenly Father definitely inspired everyone to make this move.
Be blessed in All your Adventures. Praise the Lord...🙏🏻💕
Your careful discipline has prepared you for this miracle! God has blessed you and your dad and you raised a marvelous son! Very inspiring!!!
I think this is a God moment for you all! May God continue to Bless you all!
God Bless you for taking care of Dad who took care of you back in the day...
Don't worry about ANYTHING. Live YOUR BEST life God has for you at any given moment. No apologies necessary!!!
In this world, one thing we can count on is that THINGS CHANGE....
Love you guys♥️💜❤️. Can’t wait to see your dogwood tree blossom.. CANT WAIT!!!
So glad you have your dad with you. Fewer worries. Leo was surely glad to have you home. Bless you all.
So you're going to have a tiny Homestead now. Blessings on your new venture.
Your grandchildren will be so happy to have you close! It definitely is the next right thing.best wishes to you both.
What a beautiful family taking care of each other❤️ as God wanted it to be. Bless you both and Pop
Such wonderful news! I'm so happy for all of you.💟 Having family close together is priceless!💕🍀
You two are sweethearts and a blessing to watch. :)
Such exciting news! The new house looks to be surrounded by beautiful land! Can't wait for this all to unfold!
Dear Miss Elizabeth and Mr Bill,
Congratulations!
Thats our goal. To have a small House and garden. So happy for you all. God bless you!
