If you want lore recaps on this, I suggest reacting to the Honkai Chronicles. Both Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai Star Rail are directly connected to each other in canon. The Honkai Verse basically functions like a multiverse. Lots of characters in HSR are expys from Hi3, such as Seele, Bronya, Raiden Mei, and many others. The only character in HSR who canonically is from Hi3 is Welt Yang. There's also a chibi styled short video called Honkai in a nutshell that could also check out. The Herrschers are the gods and godlike entities of Hi3. Kiana switching her eye color is important lore wise. There is also a Hi3 manga series that is filled with a ton of lore and backstory for the game, and the Manga Alien Space is the one that canonically connects Hi3 to HSR. Part of the reason that Welt, the character who left from the Hi3 universe to go into HSR universe, left in the first place is because of Himeko's death in Hi3. He didn't want to see it happen again in HSR, so he left to protect HSR Himeko from meeting the same fate. Welt is the former Herrscher of Reason. The core was passed down to Hi3 Bronya after she passed numerous tests he set up for to be worthy of obtaining the authority of HoR. Fun fact: You can actually view the broken pieces of Himeko's sword in HSR. And you get special dialog if you interact with it using HSR Himeko. Also, Reburn 2 animated short was the very first concept reveal for HSR, hence the Astral Express and Welt being in the animation. W video! Can't wait for more Hi3 content!
Wow! Thanks so much for explaining, I didn't know there's that much lore to this which is amazing. It shows a lot of care the devs put into this. Also tyvm for the new suggestions, after these trailers I have to get more Hi3 on this channel. Much love ❤
@@tobellionhonkai chronicles is a must to watch for non player if they want to dive deep into the lore. And you will be surprised about how deep the meaning of the animation is when you get into the details, lore, and stuff coming from honkai chronicles. Just expect some information bombing on this lore explanation video. You might actually need time to connect everything in mind 😂
@@tobellionInterestingly, your translation of "herrscher" possibly meaning "authority" is actually pretty accurate too. Each Herrscher is said to have it's own "authority", which is whatever the rest of their name is. The Herrscher of the Void has an authority over space and dimensions. The Herrscher of Thunder has authority over lightning, electricity, etc And HI3 uses the actual English word "authority" for those. So good work!
@@tobellion Just a headsup that if you think you'll ever play the game it's better not to watch chronicles (except the first one) as they are recaps of character arcs. You will be spoiled. But if you think you'll never have the time for this game go right ahead.
I like the design and Character already so much and I have only seen the animated Shorts. I'm still lacking a lot lorewise so I'm excited to take deep dives into that haha
Graduation trip was quite literally the finale and conclusion of kiana's journey. Its the end of her story. She absorbed all the honkai in this universe and became the Herrscher of finality, basically a honkai god, and the god of the world. But now her body has so much honkai radiation that people being just near her will die instantly from the radiation unless they themselves are Herrschers(so kiana's friends can still meet her). So she had to "seal" herself temporarily on the moon. Technically she isnt sealed as she can come back anytime she wants but that will cause mass destruction, so she has to wait around 10-15 years to fully control the honkai energy before she can return. Kiana is the first character mihoyo ever made. She is the main character of 4 different mihoyo games. The first game mihoyo ever created, flyme2themoon, had kiana as the MC, a girl with a jetpack who wanted to reach the moon. The second game they created was zombie gal kawai, with kiana as the MC, raiden mei and bronya as her classmates. The third game they created was houkai gakuen 2, with kiana as the MC and every single other part 1 honkai impact character in it. Both houkai gakuen 2 and honkai impact 3rd have the same characters and the starting of the story is also same but they go into wildly different routes. If honkai impact 3rd is the good ending then houkai gakuen 2 is the culmination of all the bad endings with severe depression and the universe got destroyed multiple times by kiana getting corrupted and becoming the Herrscher of the end. The CEO of mihoyo himself stated that kiana is like their own daughter and they love her the most. But kiana also has the most depressing and harsh story out of all the honkai or genshin or any other characters. She is by far the best written mihoyo character.
Wow thanks a lot for explaining! Very impressive to grasp the whole spectrum, it's crazy what effort went into all the stories in their respectable games but also inbetween the games. I just casually started HSR a few weeks ago and now I'm just hooked to the whole franchise of Hoyo xD.
@@tobellion Kiana is also by far the strongest character in all of hoyoverse if you don't count houkai gakuen 2 (seriously, houkai gakuen 2 characters are complete insanity. Kiana in houkai gakuen 2 is like a thousand times stronger than Kiana in honkai impact and she still isn't even in the top 20 strongest characters of houkai gakuen 2.) ..... So..... In part 1.5 of honkai impact after kiana's story ended, seele traveled to a different universe and met an alternative universe version of su(the gray haired guy who appeared in because of you, the one who was a doctor), a female version named vita, and in that universe another version of vita, the one who was controlling her, known as Sa, basically combined with a cocoon of the world which basically made her into a all powerful god, and guess what happened? Kiana, still on the moon, just pointed her finger as a finger gun at a certain direction and shot a beam of concentrated honkai energy and that energy hit Sa and instantly demolished her. SHE DID ALL THAT WHILE BEING IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT UNIVERSE. She just needed to point her finger at her and boom. That's how strong Kiana is.
I was so mad when on one of hoyofest (or something like that), organizers delete Kiana's cosplayer because "this character doesn't part of hoyoverse games". Dude she cosplayed HoV (for author, it's Will of Herrcher and Final Lesson one). It's such disrespectful and I hope hoyo will delete them or just put them on right place.
1:41:03 the girl in the dark cape? That is Raven, HI3s version of Natasha. She is a mercenary who works for World Serpent (the secret anti Honkai faction) and is an ally/colleague/antagonist of Mei's. She moonlights as a matron for a bunch of orphans.
@@tobellion She... does not. She is a low rarity character so she doesn't really get a lot of stuff focused on her. She's also free to farm so you can get her in-game just by patiently gathering the currency to buy her from the shop.

Thanks you so much, but there is still so much I could improve on! Next thing is going to be an upgrade to my Camera so you can the this weirdo more clearly!
Acheron is an alternative universe version of Raiden Mei. And yeah the blonde guy is Otto apocalypse, luochas alternate version. Also that cube he used is in star rail it came with welt lol
@@ArcGenesisI don't care dweeb the semantics don't matter Also it's not even that cut and dry the words universe and world don't have any concrete meaning in this context especially because they're just approximations of the original Chinese words.
@@ArcGenesis actually since you want to be annoying and semantic thats not correct either. Do you want to define the difference between world, universe and multiverse in this context? Do you understand that all three are just attempts at translating the original chinese word? If I were to call her a different worlds version, that sounds like shes on a different planet. The word universe gets the point across. You can educate yourself on this subject if you want, the information is on this platform. 🤓 "erm actually its a world not multiverse"
You weren't far off with Otto looking like Luocha. Welt and Void Archives, an entity using a clone body of Otto left the earth of Hi3. The official CN HSR page mentions how Welt and a blonde haired man were among the first guests of the Astral express.
@@tobellion well he is popular in all Hoyo, as the best antagonist of Hoyo, you can never accept all the lifes he killed and everything he did in 500 years to bring back Kallen, but you can understand why he lost control and why he did everything, as a normal human being if you were given his powers you could relate to him loosing all control after the love of your life is dead and trying to make amends but each years that passes the hole inside your heart grows bigger and then you become the biggest antagonist/clown of the world
@@_Void_Archive_ no I did understand don’t worry it was all just to bring back anyway Kallen, he says a lot that it’s because she’s the Holy maid of the people, but it’s only for his selfish desire, like he killed her in the process of trying to save her, what he did actually permited Kiana to have the power to control the Finality, but all that isn’t really something he was after, he really thought that only the Holy Maid and the love of his life was the only one that could save the world, so what he did saved the world it’s true, but he wasn’t searching for that, it was just an happy coincidence, did you really thought that he created Theresa just for the sake of being able to create Mantises ? No he was genuinely just trying to revive Kallen
Hey fun fact for you as a Honkai: Star Rail player! Graduation Trip and the final arc of HI3 Part 1 (during version 6.4 of HI3 which was called Version Kiana) was released just before Star Rail launched! And in Graduation Trip uses the motif of "Canon in D" (which I'm told is a music used during graduations in the US?) and when you first start Star Rail, the music that Kafka is "playing" is also Canon in D! So, very fun connection with both games there with Star Rail being the next game in the Honkai series and a partial sequel to HI3.
@@tobellion Heh Hoyo tends to do that a lot! More instances I can remember off the top of my head include when they just straight up used HI3 OSTs in Star Rail, especially when connected to Acheron. Like when Welt and Acheron are talking in Penacony about the man on Welt's world who tried to put everyone into a dream and created a Spiritual Adam, the OST that plays there is an HI3 OST called "For Kevin" I think. And when we talk to Acheron after saving everyone from Ena's Dream, if you do the hidden ending where you keep talking to Acheron, the OST that plays there is called "Pendant" I think, which is also a HI3 OST! They also use some lines of dialogue that are from HI3, but are being said to Mei by Elysia (the pink haired elf lady) Another fun fact is that if you listen carefully in Acheron's myriad celestia "Kyoden" trailer, during the part where the she names the swords in rapid succession, you can hear the notes for Himeko's song "Nightglow" when you get to sword called "Flare". And if you listen to the myriad celestia in JP, the man's voice there is actually Kevin's VA! Presumably playing that version of Kevin (Kevin is the white haired guy in the "Reawakening" trailer and who Kiana, Mei, and Bronya are fighting in the "Part 1 Finale" trailer. He was the man that Welt was talking about and his version in Acheron's world is the man she said she ended the life of with her own hands.) (with Acheron's actual name being Raiden Bosenmori Mei, it's so heavily implied that Acheron's world is kind of like the HI3 world but a bad ending of it. Personally I think it's because there was no Kiana in that world.)
Oh wow, is there any specifics? I mean I know that the Geo Dad was like 5k yo or something? It's been awhile haha - She looks good for her age regardless xD
Lore rant: HI3rd is the reason I wanted Hoyo to make an anime out of this rather than Genshin. Because out of all the stories they have, this one is the best story of them all. Also, as others have stated, the Hoyoverse is very complex. It functions like a multiverse, although everyone in the game refers to it as a Universe (According to accurate Chinese translation). It’s just one massive Universe separated by Imaginary Energy (One of the elements in Star Rail). Each World, such as HI3rd or ZZZ, can be assumed to be a part of the Hoyoverse, and the Universe is represented by a Golden Tree (One part of the tree is seen during the fight with Otto and those dark versions of himself, where he saves Kallen). That Golden Tree is the Imaginary Tree, which basically makes up the basis of all timelines and worlds in the Hoyoverse. Each World has their own version of said Tree. Genshin has the Irminsul, HI3rd has the Imaginary Tree, etc. It can be assumed all worlds have some type of Tree, even if it can’t be seen. It’s what connects every world to each other. The Astral Express is one method that allows people to bypass the Imaginary Barriers separating each World from one another, thus allowing interspace travel between worlds (There are countless worlds, and not all of them are connected, especially since there is currently only one known Astral Express remaining). If the Astral Express falls, it is presumed that communications between worlds will eventually cease, as the tracks that connect them will eventually disappear. There’s a ton more in-depth lore to the function of the Hoyoverse as well, though as of right now HI3rd and Star Rail explain the overall universe lore the best. HI3rd explains the Sea of Quanta in depth, and Star Rail explains a bit more detail on the Imaginary Tree, simply due to how the world traveling functions and the in-game text lore.
Damn! Thanks a lot for the explanation and effort here! It's amazing what they are starting to build here and it leaves a lot of room for any sort of outcomes and plot twist which I'm very excited for. An Anime would be absolutely Amazing seeing all these Characters in fully animated episodes would be neat as hell. Since we are talking about Hoyo here and they are doing a lot of crazy stuff already I think there's a good chance for something like this to happen, if they haven't publicly declined it anything. Thanks alot for your time again! Much love
@@mukplayz7413 Yeah, that's what I mean, the Mandarin word is of Taoist origin, they have that whole 'Heavenly Principles' thing going on, if memory serves me, which is probably doesn't. I appreciate the clarifications though.
I swear I cry every time I see final lesson cinematic. I was shook when I saw her in Star rail. Let’s hope Star rail Himeko gets a happy ending instead 🥲 And the music just brings the scene together. Also fun fact is that the sword that broke in the cinematic is actually the very same one that is in hertas space ship behind a glass case. It’s cool to think about how herta possibly found the broken sword.
I love details like this! Thanks a lot for sharing. Can't imagine what it must've felt like seeing her again. I was already hit by her passing, so how is it for ppl that actually experienced it with all the story and such. Let's hope for the best in HSR :D
Hoyoverse are huge fans of all world cultures. They've got a love for their own Chinese culture, but are very eager to delve into European myths and names (for example one of the factions named Schicksal being "destiny" in German and Durandal being a legendary european sword), Japanese culture (in Raiden Mei being the epitome of a dark haired Japanese beauty, Yae Sakura in her miko incarnation and the nation of Inazuma from Genshin and more), and Russian influences (Bronya, Cocolia and Snezhniya). In Hoyo's ancillary Visual Novel Honkai works there's even research into African and Middle Eastern myths and cultures, which is touched upon to show both heroic figures and villanous types. Hoyo are not afraid of accusations of "cultural appropriation" that other developers may be - this can often draw the ire of some groups, but personally I do believe it is their love for all world cultures that drives them to add such aspects to their work, and the multicultural influences adds much to the games. Or to put it another way, they're fanboys of everyone and everything and will throw all sorts of foreign names in because they sound cool. Awesome!
1:23:00 Actually it's hoyoverse tree with all their games as branches. That explains why characters can appear in few games as the same people or slightly changed, like Vill-V from honkai 3rd as Navia in genshin. In general all herrschers from honkai appear as archons in genshin. Almost all herrscherrs
Okay - I'm slowly learning about the Universe but it's pretty complicated in the beginning xD Thanks so much for explaning, it's fun to see the Characters "alternatives" in their respective games!
If you're emotional, imagine us that play it since the first animation, the journey was amazing, a lot of cry during that. And about the HSR references, 90% of the characters that you said are based in HI3, except Welt, our HI3 Welt is the same as the in HSR, he left for the milk. The Reburn 2 trailer is actually a Teaser for HSR shown during the first Concert, was WILD the anouncment.
HoYo stuff really feels like it has that wild creative energy Hollywood had in the 80's-90's Also HI3rd is the game they experiment a lot. You will often see rough ideas in it as events that later get adopted in their later titles like Genshin HSR and ZZZ
A week ago? I'm not surprised that Honkai 3rd is still getting recognition, especially with the Star Rail collab coming up, but it's always such a treat to see it resurface for people again and again. It has such great animations and story so it deserves to be seen. Great video!
Fun fact is that the Star rail myriad Celestia trailer the Acheron one - Kyoden, is showing you 12 "Sentinels"/swords in it, which are directly connected to the Herrsher powers you have here. The first sword corelated with the powers to the first Herrsher (Bronya), and so on. You even see the twin sword representing Seele herrsher powers. Second sword "Void" is representing Herrsher of the Void Kiana powers and the Thirs sword "Howl" is representing Raiden Mei so Acheron Expy, Herrsher of Thunder powers. It was very hyped Myriad Celestia video for HI3 fans with all the connections
Thing with the company name is, Hoyoverse is the global while miHoYo is still the Chinese name. Hoyoverse originally come from a fan made name, as every single Hoyo game, be it Genshin, Star Rail, ZZZ, GGZ, Tears of Themis, literally every Hoyo game placed in the same Universe, which is in fan theories mentioned as Hoyo-verse, while in lore called the Imaginary Tree what you can see in 1:23:06 Now you can enjoy every game in themself, but playing HI3rd (and GGZ, but that's not global anymore) is highly recommended as that game give you a more complex picture of the universe. Like, how/why Silverwolf also a Bronya, how Star Rail travel different worlds of the Imaginary Tree, how Genshin also just a world of the Imaginary Tree. And it give far more sense to scenes like when Welt and Acheron talked to each other. Like how different world has the same person, (Mei, Dr Mei, Raiden Ei, Acheron) and sometimes the same person but different gender (Kevin=Kiana, Trailblazer options etc) And finally, all the musics in all Hoyoverse games are made by Hoyo-Mix that's why every song is amazing.
Hey! Thanks for the time and explaining. To me it seems that, what Hoyo is building right now is completely unique in its kind. The Animations, Character, Stories and Music and so on is so well Balanced, everything seems harmonized. The problem with Honkai Impact now is that there's less attention on it despite it still going to this day (also GGZ because that will never die...somehow), and also being the main reason why its contemporaries (Genshin, Star Rail, and ZZZ) have mainstream appeal. I mean, there are people who genuinely believe a 2016 game came before a 2018 game. There will be a time that when Honkai Impact ends and the company will put out how much the game meant to them to their current audience, which they would treat it with a shrug or downright dismissal.
I seriously hope the appreciation not just for the game in general but for the work and effort around it will be held in high regards shall it end one day. I'm a super small Channel and there is still so much love from people for this
"Less attention" I disagree. Just because the other Hoyo games are more popular doesn't mean that Hoyoverse is doing less for this game. They literally updated the game engine so that it can look and play as good as their latest games.
@@nicholasmogiba6361 And how many gave a shit? Only us who can played Honkai Impact. This is why they need to have English VO. They don’t need to do ALL the story at once, just for Part 2, and if successful enough, have Part 1 and 1.5 be done chapter by chapter over time. They can do all the QoL and UI overhauls they want, but if they need attention from the mainstream attention, they need to have this option in the game. You don’t see it as a pro and you will disagree with me, but that is the only thing that separates it from its contemporaries, and that is why it _needs_ it to be implemented eventually.
@@terrencenoran3233 Disagreed. Part 2 is a terrible jumping on point for new players since it requires way too much understanding of the universe that is explained in Part 1 to get into AND it spoils a lot of Part 1 to begin with. If they wanted to dub it, they should start with Part 1, but they won't. It's too much work for too little reward. They just aren't really promoting HI3 that much anyway. Look at the Hoyo launcher, it contains all of their games except one that is not supported. Guess which one! They're going to add HI3 to the launcher soon, they're actually actively working on it and have been testing it with their beta testers, but my point is that HI3 was the one that they left on the back burner while they added the 3 mainstream games from the start. Makes sense, but it also shows that they're not really confident in pushing HI3 so they pretty much gave up on it ever getting bigger than it is. Which is sad because a lot of the DNA of their other series is present there and I'm sure it would appeal to fans if they were exposed to it more, since a lot of people seem to think the game is over and is not even getting updates anymore. It's also the one game among their gachas that barely ever needs gacha interaction, the game can be played with free units you get at the start because starting with Ch. 4 they give away trial units that can clear the content.
43:42 'ripped at the back...' this is Kiana's anti-schicksal jacket. Presumably, she defaced the Valkyrie wings after the events of Final Lesson. Great reaction btw! Subbed!
6:23 a lot of people make the mistake thinking that she his watching the viewver/player but in reality at this moment otto appeared, and then she looked at him. she felt like something was off about him and was a little affraid and decided to back off after he said something to her iirc. that's such a cool detail when u know about it
Hoyo tends to reuse certain previous characters in their games. Primarily, the ones reused are the cast of Hi3rd and GGZ (they share a lot of the same core characters) Acheron and Raiden Shogun/ Ei are expys of Raiden Mei who u see here. Bronya Rand from HSR is an expy of Bronya Zaychik who is here. HSR seele looks exactly like GGZ post timeskip seele etc And the HI3rd community goes wild every time, especially if its the main trio (Kiana, Mei Bronya)
I love that they do that, people are probably really attached. Feels like a Win-Win since Hoyo gets people to play all their games and the people get more stories with their Characters even if it's alternate versions. The last fact is wild - maybe I should dedicate a thumbnail to them xD
@@hiymecorp.258 Thats exactly what they do tho, they reuse the general designs of old characters and update em a lil for the new game as fanservice to all of us who played their old games. glad to see this reaction. i just want to tell u a bit the video "you and me" about why she (evil/red seele) forget her (good/original seele) in their arc something is happened and the existance of original seele is erased so obviously memory of good seele will also erased form her thats why she forget but she will remember again later (like in the video) ah also originally they share 1 body (2 soul/ego 1 body) but in this arc now they have their own body

HI3rd is one of my favorite games and easily my favorite mobile games, not for everyone though, its mostly mission based with gameplay inspired by DMC/Bayonetta although simplified. Story is great although it is long and slow paced at times often feeling like a Visual Novel, I love that but not everyone does. It has a relatively small cast of characters for a Gacha game where it will give many versions of the same character instead of many different characters, I like this because it shows character growth exceptionally well and I actually know most of the characters really well. After chp 6 the story also gives you story relevant trial characters so unlike most Gacha that I have played you do not have to use the Gacha and build meta characters to finish the story its only needed for end game content.
I like the points you make - The change of pace is something I would quite enjoy. I have played a few VNs before and lost track of time because they are so good. So this would add a nice touch to it. The only problem would be the time that needs to be invested xD
3 concerts have also been performed on Honkai. They're pretty good. The first one was a breakdown, the other 2 were already on top. There are them on the channel. There are mostly songs from animations and music from trailers. If you don't want to play, you can watch the Chronicles. In fact, they tell the story in English. Just find a normal playlist.
Not gonna lie, I may be uplaoding something reagarding one of their Concerts right now :D it takes a while because of the size tho! I thought about looking into the chronicles and guess this settles it then! Thanks for the info. Much love ❤

I mean I'm used to the animations of the newer Gens too but this really hit hard, like I'm not the emotional type but damn xD These are really pieces of art
HSR SPOILER WARNING: 01:25:42 i can confirm she is not in the coffin, to avoid bigger spoilers that would ruin the reveal, i won’t say what or who is inside of it.
Some characters may look similar or share a name with other characters from Star Rail but they are not them. The only character who is actually the same person across both games is Welt.
PV? You should do PVs. Pvs are like character trailers but with abit of others on the side. They showcase the chars and Show abit of the story going on at that verson. The first ones are like.. 6 yo.. So they old. But it gets alot better. Toga kawa made a great playlist bc the official playlist is very badly put together. And it showcase their atk animations.. Also.. Almost every char has a personal music for them.. And they are really good.
All the shorts are good on their own... But even better when you have the context of the stories between. It gives more impact, if you will. Also, in game, in the final lesson short, after Himeko injects herrscher of the void (Kiana's super powered evil side) with the suppression serum, the following scream is dual layered with Kiana's.
@@tobellion it’s normal, so it’s okay, just watching the animated shorts, you don’t have a lot of context, like "reburn" is the first animated short, they did for Honkai and it’s not canon so the first real animated short is "Will of the Herrscher" that animation only came on chapter 8 so basically you don’t have the context of 8 chapters that if we estimate, it’s almost like 6 or 7 hours of game lore lol, if you had known that Kiana was the protagonist that would be very strange lol 😂😂
Beside Himeko, Owl, Ana Schariac, Otto and Kevin, in the game story no other character died or am I forgetting someone ? (only in game !! not Manga included, because there are some HI3 mangas where they just go on a killing spree)
@@tobellion I would say watch the version trailers but there are 110 of them and there’s no fully accurate playlist (the one I made is pretty good but it’s from 2.0 upwards since I can’t find the original 1.0-2.0 trailers since they’re only in CN) I mean don’t get me wrong they’re amazing it’s just. A lot of videos. The concerts are probably a better thing to react to, they’re quite awesome.
@@elainasynranelt haha okay I get you. I will try to wrap my head around all of the stuff - If I miss something I'm pretty sure the comments will help out tho. And I love the fact they made whole concerts for their games. Absolutely awesome and will check them out!
Ah, yes! Back to watching HI3rd reactions! Haven't seen one for quite some time! They are still the best in the market! They literally made music to go well with what is happening in the animations! I hope I'll get to see a reaction for Punishing Gray Raven too! A bit older graphics, but gameplay wise, still the best! There are quite a few characters to react to! A few animations too!
I was absolutely stunned by these Animations, also the musical settings in a lot of these are nothing short of amazing. I'm already very excited for PGR and am recording all the stuff you guys recommended right this moment. And I can answer some comments in the downtime :P I will schedule the uploads over the next few days. Thanks for the support ❤
@@tobellionand it’s cool because some things that aren’t completely explained in game like specific backstories are explained in the manga! My favorite mangas of hi3 is Otto’s manga because he’s actually really old but doesn’t age and it sort of explains why he does some things that he does. His character is extremely well written! It’s a character I both hate and understand. And my other favorite is seele and bronya’s manga! It’s so so good but also so sad lol😫
yeah the PV one, the official has 67 videos in total but i recommend this playlist (has 93 videos) i check it out, this is a good playlist (he/she really put effor into this xD) also u can watch in order from top to bottom normally th-cam.com/video/hjpq-UV2KPE/w-d-xo.html
I highly recommend the japanese dubs over chinese dubs in most cases, the japanese gives so much more intensity of emotions, conveying all the emotions, the despair, hopelessness, and devotion etc, especially with Lament of the Fallen, the VA for Raiden Mei went divine. Also the latter part of Shattered Samsara. The only animated short where I prefer the chinese dub is Thus Spoke Apocalypse. I'm currently also writing some explanations(might be wrong, haven't played in a while) for everything
As far as language goes, both dubs are good. But I personally prefer the japanese dubs. I feel those performances convey more emotion to a western audience.
@@tobellion many of them are quite good from both, but the two I find to be truly powerful performances are the Japanese versions of "Lament of the Fallen" and "Seele."
Two other HI3 videos that were not in the playlist, but that you might also want to see, are: "Azure Waters: Bronya & Seele's Story" - An animated summary of the Azure Waters manga "Winter Memories: Honkai Impact 3rd Concept Animation" Both are short at about 2 minutes each, but quite good. They can be found on the normal Honkai Impact 3rd youtube channel under the above names.
Oh wow that's interesting. I always like it if they bring something like that to the table so you can Identify with the Characters more. Back in the day the trailers for Games like Overwatch and TF2 were really fun to watch because of that!
Depends, for example, general consensus is that JP is better for lament of the fallen, but CN is better for shattered samsara. I personally like thus spoke apocalypse a lot more in CN.
@@notyou9061yep it depends on the animation, the VA performance in lament is def the best in JP, and shattered samsara in CN, rest I’m kinda indefferent about.
Yeah, I was debating if I should try the jp Version, maybe in the future I will change in up a bit, so I can see what works best and what you guys enjoy the most!
use list of Charles Guba next time. lincs get obliterated by yt, so aint sending it. but Charles Guba has a list, the one with 150(literally) video compiling the animations, lore, and some theories in a chronological order for others to use edit: my other self(acc) is here, they are the Charles Guba that im talking about. their list will surly help. and dont forget to read the titles of the lists, cuz those titles are very specified for anything they have compiled
@@OBL-PMT fun fact Luocha could be an Expy of Otto, because when Otto went to see Fu Hua after Kallen’s death, he hide his true identity and called himself Luocha or like you said it could be Void Archives
Sometimes I feel like a rapper if I try to say all the names correctly :D The otto one was one of my favorites tho, while editing I sadly saw my mistake too ...
Nice video reaction !! It's always heartwarming to see new people show some interest to the game ❤ I'm half way through it but I wanted to ask if you planned on reacting to the japanese versions ? (Sorry maybe you talk about that at the end) I just find that chinese voice actors are.. less expressive than the japanese ones. Idk but I felt less emotions watching the chinese ones (especially for the Lament of the Fallen).
Yeah I didnt really talk about it in the Video but a few people also told me in the comments that they are really worth watching so I did :D Maybe I can get it out today still. But since I plan to watch the PVs and all I will probably spending my day editing and uploading that monster xD
Would say this the Japenese dubs have almost twice as much, if not more, of emotions in their voice acting as compared to Chinese ones. No hate to CN VAs but JP seemed to be slightly better.
I think they are both stunning - I did watch all the jp ones too and will upload that one soon. I would really like to know what Japanese and Chinese think of the respected counterpart! Since I'm german and never really liked any german dubs I'm very curious haha
@@tobellion Just like you I would also love to know how JP and CN feel about these but as far as I know for most of the world, most of them prefer JP. I hope someone would answer your query cause I would love to know as well hahah.
So starting with Will of the Herrscher. Firstly Herrschers and Honkai. Honkai is ehh, something, that seeks to destroy humanity. It takes on many forms, sometimes as energy, other times as monsters, or natural disasters etc. Herrschers are those chosen by the Honkai to gain godlike powers, often becoming its agents of destruction. Each Herrscher represents a specific domain they hold power over. For comparisons sake, you can think of Herrschers as the Aeons of Honkai Star Rail. Now, Kiana(the white haired girl, and the main heroine, sort of) holds within her mind the Herrscher of Void, Kiana normally has blue eyes, the Herrscher, golden. Raiden Mei(the black/purple haired one) tries to awaken Kiana while she is trapped within her own body as the Herrscher takes control. Now Reburn, I am pretty sure this happens after Final Lesson, not sure though, anyway Kiana is on the run, Mei is chasing her, Kiana allows more and more Honkai Energy from the Herrscher Core to come into her, this is what causes the transformation, while this empowers her, it also allows the Herrscher to try and take over, which you can see with Void Eyes, and also making Kiana deal a lot of unnecessary damage instead of precise strikes. Cyberangel: Zero exception, basically Bronya is in the Sea of Quanta, which is a chaotic dimension that exists between universes, the Herrcher Core of Reason is there, as well as Seele, now Seele and Bronya grew up together in Cocolia Orphanage, and endured harsh experiments, Seele disappeared during an experiment involving the Sea of Quanta and for a long time Bronya thought she was dead. Now another thing that is insane about this, Bronya is the first person to ever be in full control over the Herrscher powers without any destructive tendencies. Now the Herrscher of Reason has the power to create anything that they understand. The previous owner of this power is Welt Yang. Also, at the end of Cyberangel? Yeah all those scenes are alternate universe Bronyas Now Final Lesson, oof, now that brings a lot of PTSD. Another thing for context: Honkai energy is toxic, and destroys your body the more you use it. However Valkyries have to use them to fight off the Honkai beasts. Himeko is a mentor figure for Kiana and is technically due for retirement. She does have a vaccine of sorts, a serum that will purge the honkai from her body, which will cure her, but also take away her strength. However instead of using it to save herself, she basically rejects the retirement, puts on a prototype battlesuit which amplifies her honkai energy, killing her even more rapidly while giving a last burst of insane strength and power. Kiana at this time is completely trapped with the Herrscher being in full control. Another thing about Himeko, she taught Kiana that Valkyries have to kill their comrades that get corrupted by the Honkai, but she goes against that to save Kiana. And so, barely reaching the Herrscher after burning away her life in more ways than one, quite literally the Godslayer battlesuit ruined, wielding Surtr burns her inside out, and the flame jets that propel her forward completely incinerates her. And so she puts her own retirement serum on Kiana, purging the honkai from her, as well as liberating Kiana from the Herrscher's control. Seele, this is in the Sea of Quanta, where Bronya is trying to get Seele out of it, now she succeeded, and Seele finally returned to reality, now there is an alternate Seele Vollerei, there is no official name but we like to call her Veliona, she is basically a darker version of Seele. The gate to the Sea of Quanta is closed, and Veliona chains her down to prevent her from hurting herself again in desperation, but with sheer desperation alone, she basically punched through a dimensional space. I believe that the HSR Seele instead of having an alternate personality they just merged the two into one, though the personality is mostly Veliona. Bronya, btw, Bronya Zaychik is a trained child soldier from Russia, additionally, if you look at it closely in x0.25 speed, you see that the bullets would actually hit her, it is just that project bunny(the mech) was in invisible mode deflecting the bullets the entire time. Now I kinda forgot the context of this one nor where it is in the timeline, I just think it was something with Seele missing again Meteoric Salvation, also, fun fact, it is a thing of the Kaslana family to wield baseball bats. The Kaslana's are also well known to always sacrifice themselves for the greater good. Anyway Kiana knew about all the destruction she had caused, well the Herrscher caused, also knew she could cause it again if she were to lose control. She went to Arc City to escape, to protect all her friends, not to save the city. She didn't know anything or anyone, spending the days roaming the streets, homeless, hungry, alone and chased by honkai beasts. Destruction follwed her and would hurt civilians. She contemplated suicide, hoping her death would put an end to the circle of violence. Then she learned about the honkai bomb, and the consequences for Arc City if it were to detonate. She also knew that the honkai energy irradiating from the bomb would cause the Herrscher to awaken, triggering the very thing she was attempting to escape. It could kill her, it could kill everyone she knew. But she was the only one with a small chase to prevent it, and so she went in anyway. However, this is also where she finally gains control over the Herrscher powers without letting the Herrscher personality(Sirin) take over, this is indicated by the Void eyes, except they are blue, Kiana's eye color. I also love the ending drop, the barren, lifeless city, suddenly bursting to life and light, the city she saved.
Lament of the Fallen, another thing, Acheron of Honkai Star Rail is basically Raiden Mei, without Kiana in her life. Acheron is more like a title or job, her name is Raiden Mei, Bosenmori is a given nickname of sorts. So yeah, Raiden Mei without Kiana is depressed. Anyway, Raiden is angry at Kiana, why? Well she is literally destroying herself being the hero. Kiana loves food, but the more honkai she uses, the more she loses her senses. Raiden watched in pain as Kiana pretended everything was okay, and saying the food Raiden cooked tasted great, except Raiden already found out Kiana lost her tastebuds as well. So basically she searched for a way for Kiana to not put herself in danger, and an offer came for the World Serpent, a criminal organization of sorts. Eventually she decides to accept it, Kiana tries to stop her. And when Raiden asks why she puts herself in such danger for others, she replies it is her mission. Anyway this brings forth the raw line: "If rescuing you is a sin, I'll gladly become a sinner". Reawakening, this is about Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience who takes control of her, well a trailer of it, it is a teaser for the Shattered Samsara. Shattered Samsara. Now Fu Hua, my favourite character, she is an immortal human from 50000 years ago, in the previous Era Civilization, one of the MANTIS warriors, and is known as the Phoenix. She once served Otto Apocalpyse, but was betrayed and killed. Anyway she is also the class representative of the academy Kiana went to before everything to hell and back. Now the Herrscher of Sentience, or Senti as we like to call her, fights, Fu Hua supports Kiana from the back, interfering with the Herrscher here and there. And Kiana succeeds in sealing the Herrscher, at which point Fu Hua steps up and says she will seal the Herrscher herself. "This is my mission" being the reason. Now this hurts Kiana on a fundamental level, as that was her own motive for a very long time, it is only after Lament of the Fallen that she changes. So seeing Fu Hua also act the same as her, for the same reason made her realize what pain she caused others. Another thing I love about the last scenes, Kiana growing tired of the losses, and basically taking the phoenix feather using her Herrscher of the Void powers on it to locate Fu Hua and open a portal to her. And here we see glimpses of Fu Hua's past lives. The Everlasting Flame. Now before I dive into this, lemme talk about the songs, the song Moon Halo, used in Everlasting Flame is basically closing loose ends the other songs had. Nightglow(Final Lesson) : "Never let you go" Moon Halo : "I will never let go" Cyber Angel : "Through my wings have been bloodstained and could never rid" Moon Halo : "Unfold this pair of wings for me again" Starfall(Meteoric Salvation) : "I want no tomorrow or yesterday" Moon Halo : "Brighter than tomorrow or yesterday" Honkai Sekai no Utahime(Lament of the Fallen) : "Crimson moon shines upon a town that is smeared in blood" Moon Halo : "Turned into a moon that always tells the warmth and brightness of the sun" Rubia(Shattered Samsara) : "Find a way back home" Moon Halo : "There is a way back home" Anyway this takes place in the domain of the Herrscher of Domination, I forgot most of the lore from here so can't say much, but it is basically a culmination of everything, overcoming so many trials, losses, and yet moving forward. She thus becomes the Herrscher of Flamescion. Also note, the words Himeko says to the Herrscher of Void in Final Lesson, and the ones Kiana says against the Herrscher of Domination are the same, word for word. Reburn 2, yeah this is the original concept idea for Honkai Star Rail, the train is literally the train of the trailblazers, exact same design and everything. Thus Spoke Apocalypse. Lemme talk about this. Otto Apocalypse, by far, the most hated character by the fandom, so many of the trials Kiana underwent was because of this dude. But at the same time. Yeah, we understand him. Otto is over 500 years old and is a longtime Overseer of the Schicksal organization. Kallen Kaslana, ancestor of Kiana, also known as the holy maiden, died despite all the good she did for the people. Otto was angry and basically unleashed Honkai Beasts in the hopes of saving Kallen during the chaos caused by the Honkai Beasts, what he didn't expect was for Kallen to die saving others by the very Honkai beasts he unleashed. For the sake of reviving Kallen, he took control over Schicksal and worked towards that goal, no matter the cost or means. Committing crime after crime. Another thing, he has a simulation of the event. Now skipping all the bad stuff he did, he made a deal with the World Serpent and entered the World Tree, forgot the name or if it was just called the World Tree, now all the black figures are all him, who have failed and become corrupted. He also creates replica Divine Keys, the golden weapons, now what I love about this part, the last weapon he used is the Oath of Judah, which is known to be used by the Kaslana's, known for their self-sacrifice, which goes against everything Otto did, but at the end, he too, sacrifices himself for Kallen. At the end, Otto creates a branched timeline in the past, one where Kallen survives. And he enters that timeline, falling from the skies, literally breaking his own body and soul into pieces. To do what? Well, to kill every single Honkai Beast he had unleashed that day 500 years ago. He could do this because he had the entire day memorized from the simulation he made of it. And so he controlled his very own soul to split off and target every single one of the honkai beasts. We hate him, but damn he is a great villain. Because of You, now this is about the Elysian Realm and the 13 Flamechasers, among which is Fu Hua, and Kevin Kaslana, the progenitor of the Kaslana's, as well as the head of the World Serpent. I cannot explain it, one because I never got to play till that part as I am done with gacha, for a while now, and there is simply too much. Simply put, there is a previous Era civilization, they creates MANTIS soldiers, Modified Anti-Natural Tissue System, they are humanities strongest fighters against the Honkai, however they failed, and only exist as a collection of stories in a database. It is the story of 13 heroes who failed. In respect for them. Kevin Kaslana, the Signet of Deliverance. The Leader and strongest of the Flamechasers (White hair) Elysia, the Signet of Ego, Herrscher of Humanity, the second in command. (Miss pink elf, also called pink jesus by the community) Mobius, the Signet of Infinity, the scientist responsible for creating MANTIS technology.(The green haired one) Aponia, Signet of Discipline, the nun, she enforces order sort of. Eden, Signet of Gold, a former idol celebrity, she basically funded them. Kalpas, Signet of Decimation, a berserker, the one wearing a mask, no one knows how his face looks like. Sakura, Signet of Setsuna, pink haired bunny girl, she's a skilled assassin. Vill-V, Signet of Helix, the genius inventor with multiple personalities, the one who looks like steampunk personified Su, Signet of Bodhi, former doctor, philosopher and healer. Griseo, Signet of Stars(There are theories she creates the world of Genshin), the youngest, blue haired painter, though she is also one of the only ones who survived until the present day. Pardofelis, Signet of Reverie, the catgirl, and a thief. Kosma, Signet of Daybreak, green haired guy with horns Fu Hua Signet of Vicissitude, the martial artist.
As a Chinese, I self learned Japanese from tons of animes. The Japanese dub is very good. But the Chinese one is better. The emotions is more accurate in many cases.
Try the game during the HSR collab after 2 patches. Also the default voice over is Japanese that's why a lot of players reacted strongly when Acheron was released.
You see her a LOT in the second half of part 1.5. In part 1 she 'appears' in ALL the trio's (Kiana, Mei, and Bronya's) story arcs and then has one of her own. She is also in several of the game associated manga and has an incomplete and untranslated Visual Novel.

The Herrscher of Thunder has authority over lightning, electricity, etc
And HI3 uses the actual English word "authority" for those. So good work!
@@tobellion Just a headsup that if you think you'll ever play the game it's better not to watch chronicles (except the first one) as they are recaps of character arcs. You will be spoiled.
But if you think you'll never have the time for this game go right ahead.
No matter how many times I watch the HI3rd cutscenes, it's always the same feeling in the end.
I was suprised by how much these trailers moved me even tho I didnt even play the game. Great work by Hoyo
yeah bro i feel that too
its depression impact for a reason
Kiana is not only the best main character but also the best character hoyo ever made. She's also the creators favorite character.
I like the design and Character already so much and I have only seen the animated Shorts. I'm still lacking a lot lorewise so I'm excited to take deep dives into that haha
You can't say that when the Bronya exists
@@Mayank_MJ damn the goosebumps while reading that xD Kiana is insane - would love to see so much more of her!

Alternate world. All Honkai games + Genshin take place in the same universe. It's not a multiverse.
@@ArcGenesisI don't care dweeb the semantics don't matter
Also it's not even that cut and dry the words universe and world don't have any concrete meaning in this context especially because they're just approximations of the original Chinese words.
@@ArcGenesis actually since you want to be annoying and semantic thats not correct either. Do you want to define the difference between world, universe and multiverse in this context? You weren't far off with Otto looking like Luocha. Welt and Void Archives, an entity using a clone body of Otto left the earth of Hi3. The official CN HSR page mentions how Welt and a blonde haired man were among the first guests of the Astral express.
Phew, I always feel like messing this up. I don't know if Otto is popular in HI3rd but I really like him!
Heyo! This is sick!
"How much detail and thought do you want to bring into your Games and their universe?"
Hoyo: "Yes"
They also use some lines of dialogue that are from HI3, but are being said to Mei by Elysia (the pink haired elf lady)
Another fun fact is that if you listen carefully in Acheron's myriad celestia "Kyoden" trailer, during the part where the she names the swords in rapid succession, you can hear the notes for Himeko's song "Nightglow" when you get to sword called "Flare". He was the man that Welt was talking about and his version in Acheron's world is the man she said she ended the life of with her own hands.)
(with Acheron's actual name being Raiden Bosenmori Mei, it's so heavily implied that Acheron's world is kind of like the HI3 world but a bad ending of it. Personally I think it's because there was no Kiana in that world.)
@@sruthi267 Acheron is what happens when a Mei is Kianaless.
Fu hua is still my favorite character after all this time!
She is actually older than any of the seven in genshin impact. She’s a great character!
Oh wow, is there any specifics? I mean I know that the Geo Dad was like 5k yo or something? It's been awhile haha - She looks good for her age regardless xD
@tobellion Fu Hua was 50000 years old ....
@@tobellion 50k years old, Fu Hua is very old, but if you watch the Honkai Chroniques everything will be explained
Lore rant:
HI3rd is the reason I wanted Hoyo to make an anime out of this rather than Genshin.
Much love
The original chinese for what Herrschers are is something like Lawgiver or Lawkeeper.
So Emperor, Queen, that kind of title fits.
It's actually "Lawmaker"
@@mukplayz7413 I knew it was Law*something*.
And Law as in like, Laws of Heaven, I think it's Taoist in origin?
@@Talon1124 no, it's just a rough translation of ruler/god since herrscher is a german word. And mandarin language is kind of complicated to translate
@@mukplayz7413 Yeah, that's what I mean, the Mandarin word is of Taoist origin, they have that whole 'Heavenly Principles' thing going on, if memory serves me, which is probably doesn't.
I appreciate the clarifications though.
its been a year since graduation trip first came out and it still manages to make me cry like a baby
Damn I'm excited to watch more on this game today so I hopefully can get more Lore and see some gameplay too
I swear I cry every time I see final lesson cinematic.
I was shook when I saw her in Star rail.
Let’s hope Star rail Himeko gets a happy ending instead 🥲
And the music just brings the scene together.
Played this game for over 7 years and the animations still gets me every time
1:37:12 Kiana,Bronya,Raiden mei vs Kevin fight only in the In game cutscene because so much Phase we fight with Kevin
HoYo stuff really feels like it has that wild creative energy Hollywood had in the 80's-90's
Also HI3rd is the game they experiment a lot.
Thank you a lot!
I was/am seriously questioning myself how I missed out on all of that ... Glad to be a part of it now!
Damn, that's sick - I wish I could have appreciated in that way
Acheron holding the Howl sword in that trailer is a small detail others may have missed.
Thing with the company name is, Hoyoverse is the global while miHoYo is still the Chinese name. Hoyoverse originally come from a fan made name, as every single Hoyo game, be it Genshin, Star Rail, ZZZ, GGZ, Tears of Themis, literally every Hoyo game placed in the same Universe, which is in fan theories mentioned as Hoyo-verse, while in lore called the Imaginary Tree what you can see in 1:23:06
Now you can enjoy every game in themself, but playing HI3rd (and GGZ, but that's not global anymore) is highly recommended as that game give you a more complex picture of the universe.
Like, how/why Silverwolf also a Bronya, how Star Rail travel different worlds of the Imaginary Tree, how Genshin also just a world of the Imaginary Tree.
And it give far more sense to scenes like when Welt and Acheron talked to each other.
Like how different world has the same person, (Mei, Dr Mei, Raiden Ei, Acheron) and sometimes the same person but different gender (Kevin=Kiana, Trailblazer options etc)
And finally, all the musics in all Hoyoverse games are made by Hoyo-Mix that's why every song is amazing.
Hey! Thanks for the time and explaining. To me it seems that, what Hoyo is building right now is completely unique in its kind. The Animations, Character, Stories and Music and so on is so well Balanced, everything seems harmonized. It's also very interesting to see the development of Hoyo even tho I do need to look into the older games before HI3rd.
Much Love

By the way fu hua will definitely be in star rail she's probably the main ruler of the xianzhou
im interested with welt and fu hua interaction. Welt, as one of the person that has been touched by the feather, can Xianzhou's Fu Hua know Welt?
That would be sick! We still have seen so little of the Xianzhou I feel like since there it is like a huge "nation". Really excited for it ❤
She did sign herself as "HUA, Marshall" in one of the documents, so she's essentially Jingyuan and Feixiao's boss.
@@terrencenoran3233 I actually agree with you.
Subbed!

Hoyo tends to reuse certain previous characters in their games. Primarily, the ones reused are the cast of Hi3rd and GGZ (they share a lot of the same core characters)
Acheron and Raiden Shogun/ Ei are expys of Raiden Mei who u see here.
Bronya Rand from HSR is an expy of Bronya Zaychik who is here.
HSR seele looks exactly like GGZ post timeskip seele etc
And the HI3rd community goes wild every time, especially if its the main trio (Kiana, Mei Bronya)
I love that they do that, people are probably really attached. Feels like a Win-Win since Hoyo gets people to play all their games and the people get more stories with their Characters even if it's alternate versions.
The last fact is wild - maybe I should dedicate a thumbnail to them xD
“Reuse”
You say that like there isn’t a reason they do that and are just being lazy.
@@hiymecorp.258 Thats exactly what they do tho, they reuse the general designs of old characters and update em a lil for the new game as fanservice to all of us who played their old games.
We can gloss it up, but in the end, they reused those designs and its not necessarily a bad thing. Dont fix what aint broke.
And in the case of GGZ to HI3RD, they literally reused the sane characters
glad to see this reaction. i just want to tell u a bit the video "you and me" about why she (evil/red seele) forget her (good/original seele) in their arc something is happened and the existance of original seele is erased so obviously memory of good seele will also erased form her thats why she forget but she will remember again later (like in the video)
ah also originally they share 1 body (2 soul/ego 1 body) but in this arc now they have their own body

Much love ❤

Also.. Almost every char has a personal music for them.. And they are really good.
The animations show like only a fiew of the characters..
There are soo many amazing characters that are not shown.
Yeah it's gonna be one of the next things on my bucket list - Im hyped for this and hanks for the explanation ❤
All the shorts are good on their own... But even better when you have the context of the stories between. It gives more impact, if you will. Also, in game, in the final lesson short, after Himeko injects herrscher of the void (Kiana's super powered evil side) with the suppression serum, the following scream is dual layered with Kiana's.
the main character is the one you tought was the main antagonist Kiana Kalsana lol
Haha my confusion was real tho, thanks a bunch!
It's the threat that counts.
:333 we are so back
haha yeah, this was awesome! I really missed out all these years ... :D
@@tobellion I would say watch the version trailers but there are 110 of them and there’s no fully accurate playlist (the one I made is pretty good but it’s from 2.0 upwards since I can’t find the original 1.0-2.0 trailers since they’re only in CN)
I mean don’t get me wrong they’re amazing it’s just.
And I can answer some comments in the downtime :P
I will schedule the uploads over the next few days.
Thanks for the support ❤
@@tobellioni hope you react to all punishing gray raven music too. They are really good.
to learn more about Characters like Welt, Otto/Voidarchives, Seele and Bronya you should read the offical Hi3rd manga.
I'm stunned that there is a Manga - I need to get to it asap haha :D
@@tobellionand it’s cool because some things that aren’t completely explained in game like specific backstories are explained in the manga! My favorite mangas of hi3 is Otto’s manga because he’s actually really old but doesn’t age and it sort of explains why he does some things that he does.
His character is extremely well written! It’s a character I both hate and understand.
And my other favorite is seele and bronya’s manga! It’s so so good but also so sad lol😫
bro mixed up sushang with fu xuan ICANT
Maybe, but maybe it was just a really quick joke to confuse you all haha ... You would believe me right? *cough*
animation done, maybe next the trailer version?
Heyo, seems like an awesome Idea! What Playlist excactly are talking about? Is it the PV one, I'm a little confused on HI3rd channel xD
yeah the PV one, the official has 67 videos in total but i recommend this playlist (has 93 videos) i check it out, this is a good playlist (he/she really put effor into this xD) also u can watch in order from top to bottom normally

@@Ak-Ra Omg - that's insanely helpful thanks a lot I was at a loss with where to start xD
In this case I stuck with the original but I will upload a 2nd video with the JP voices since people says its really worth it
@@tobellion many of them are quite good from both, but the two I find to be truly powerful performances are the Japanese versions of "Lament of the Fallen" and "Seele."
Two other HI3 videos that were not in the playlist, but that you might also want to see, are:
"Azure Waters: Bronya & Seele's Story" - An animated summary of the Azure Waters manga
"Winter Memories: Honkai Impact 3rd Concept Animation"
Both are short at about 2 minutes each, but quite good. They can be found on the normal Honkai Impact 3rd youtube channel under the above names.
Kiana is supposed to be German (Mei Japanese, Bronya Russian, Seele Litauian or Estonian, Fu Hua Chinese, etc.).
Oh wow that's interesting. I always like it if they bring something like that to the table so you can Identify with the Characters more. Back in the day the trailers for Games like Overwatch and TF2 were really fun to watch because of that!
da capo still never fails to make me cry :(
Cant wait for another honkai impact video From you ❤❤
Can't wait to watch more of it! I will keep it coming ❤
32:52 Yeah... bcs Honkai impact 3rd is unlike genshin or star rail focus on quality instead of quantity.
Good take, I still enjoy all the animations but HI3rd has hit by far the hardest even tho I never played any of the story or anything
For any future HI3 reactions you should try the JP dub, it tends to be a lot more immersive!
@@tobellion I bring you utmost respect for trying out the original VO first

Otto isn't LuoCha. Void Archive might be LuoCha but no confirm,so still waiting for story in HSR
Otto's animations here got me bad, very insane Character building in just a few minutes basically. I hope we get know more
@@OBL-PMT fun fact Luocha could be an Expy of Otto, because when Otto went to see Fu Hua after Kallen’s death, he hide his true identity and called himself Luocha or like you said it could be Void Archives
You confused Sushang and Fu Xuan in Otto one :x
Sometimes I feel like a rapper if I try to say all the names correctly :D The otto one was one of my favorites tho, while editing I sadly saw my mistake too ...
Nice video reaction !! It's always heartwarming to see new people show some interest to the game ❤
I'm half way through it but I wanted to ask if you planned on reacting to the japanese versions ? (Sorry maybe you talk about that at the end)
I just find that chinese voice actors are.. less expressive than the japanese ones.
@@tobellion Ohhh ok ! Tysm for your answer !! And yeah... Good luck with editing ! This takes wayyyy too much time haha x)
authority would probably be the best fitting translation for herrcher
Bro star rail based on this game
Yeah all those scenes are alternate universe Bronyas
Now Final Lesson, oof, now that brings a lot of PTSD.
Now I kinda forgot the context of this one nor where it is in the timeline, I just think it was something with Seele missing again
Meteoric Salvation, also, fun fact, it is a thing of the Kaslana family to wield baseball bats.
Nightglow(Final Lesson) : "Never let you go"
Moon Halo : "I will never let go"
Cyber Angel : "Through my wings have been bloodstained and could never rid"
Moon Halo : "Unfold this pair of wings for me again"
Starfall(Meteoric Salvation) : "I want no tomorrow or yesterday"
Moon Halo : "Brighter than tomorrow or yesterday"
Honkai Sekai no Utahime(Lament of the Fallen) : "Crimson moon shines upon a town that is smeared in blood"
Moon Halo : "Turned into a moon that always tells the warmth and brightness of the sun"
Rubia(Shattered Samsara) : "Find a way back home"
Moon Halo : "There is a way back home"
Anyway this takes place in the domain of the Herrscher of Domination, I forgot most of the lore from here so can't say much, but it is basically a culmination of everything, overcoming so many trials, losses, and yet moving forward.
The Leader and strongest of the Flamechasers (White hair)
Elysia, the Signet of Ego, Herrscher of Humanity, the second in command. (Miss pink elf, also called pink jesus by the community)
Mobius, the Signet of Infinity, the scientist responsible for creating MANTIS technology.(The green haired one)
Aponia, Signet of Discipline, the nun, she enforces order sort of.
Vill-V, Signet of Helix, the genius inventor with multiple personalities, the one who looks like steampunk personified
Su, Signet of Bodhi, former doctor, philosopher and healer.
Griseo, Signet of Stars(There are theories she creates the world of Genshin), the youngest, blue haired painter, though she is also one of the only ones who survived until the present day.
Pardofelis, Signet of Reverie, the catgirl, and a thief.
Kosma, Signet of Daybreak, green haired guy with horns
Fu Hua Signet of Vicissitude, the martial artist.
