Question is if we want to say in general (passive voice) that , for example, some amounts somebody pays (regulary), we use structure: The amounts are paid (Present simple - passive voice). I am done equals I have done. Because the former doesn't mean passive voice. The only difference is which verb to use.
Couldn't "I am done" take on the passive meaning, the active being "I did it"?
