Miles Jackson is gem of a guy! So down to earth and knowledgeable. I remember taking his factory tour last year and he is just lovely, very passionate about guitars and educating the tourists.
Great video! Congrats to Cole Clark for making a more affordable lineup along the lines of its competitors, and the differences between Aussie and partly Chinese were explained very well. Meanwhiel the True Hybrid is still on my maybe list. Never occurred to me to get a humbucker out of the way in the middle for digging in! Maybe it was just speed, but some of the different True Hybrid settings sounded very similar to me. But I'm still interested, the variety of legit tones + acoustic that was demonstrated is amazing. Loved his observation about the (current anyway) state of technology--you can make a great-sounding acoustic that sounds good plugged in, or a great-sounding amplified guitar that sounds good acoustically.
I had a Cole Clark years ago and sold it like a fool. I wish I still had it. Best pickup I’ve ever had in an acoustic guitar. Interesting woods on some of these Aaron. I appreciate your going further in depth on the import 1 Series guitars. I really want the True Hybrid though. I’m never going to get approved for one by the wife unfortunately lol.
The new thinline Hybrid SSS freaked me out when the tone knob was pulled up. So much like a old strat and we didn't even get to hear the acoustic blend with it.
Yes they are fabulous guitars. The acoustic thin-line guitars and the hybrid guitars are the standouts for me and I wish they were more readily available in the USA.
Fortunately, I got a Thinline HSS hybrid sonic blue during the Boxing day sales. Stlll on Layby. Just what will Cole Clark come out with now they have solved the electric/acoustic pick up problem and they are embracing FEA computer modelling they can do on their 5 axis cnc router machine. Should be interesting to see what CEO Miles Jackson does.
Thanks so much - now I have to find money for a Cole Clark as I've been lusting after one for a long time and it would be a nice contrast to my guitarist's Maton. And make her jealous!
hi there , Aaron know this about guitars: i wish i will be the first and only person in the world to buy an HD28 with maple neck . just try the same neck of the sj 200 , a once in a life time. until then i will use my maple wood pick and dream.
Hello Aaron. Ive got questions regarding ur very old video. Can we get a good acoustic tone for stage out of Zoom G3xn. I searching a processor that can do both electric and acoustic . or would suggest other processor like nux mg 400 . Would be great help
@@SamVecchio The one I am selling is very dear to me but I can’t justify keeping it after the NAMM trip and I have an Angel 3 now. Send me an email if you are interested.
One can never take the sales man out of this bloke i swear ,,Miles Jackson, the only person who i know that can sell ice to the eskimos and sand to the arabs ....and a dual national? man, so much spin? we here down under are calling it the "Chin Clark".. ,it has no warranty and guaranteed to fail after 6 months and doomed to die in a live music set ... onya guys👏 👏👏👏
What a shame you spend several thousand of dollars and they give you the guitar and then don't want to know about you if you have any problems! the worst company I have ever had to deal with!

I agree!
Loving this review. I can understand from this video why Cole Clark is your go-to Guitar for your shows.

Yeah. Why not get a solution for each problem rather than try to make one thing do everything? It’s not realistic.

Ha keep trying!!!
That Angel 3 European Maple. Yeah, that sounded better than anything else.

Thanks Greg. Actually that may happen!

Probably the Quad Cortex. I haven’t tried the newer NUX and Mooer units. I was just looking at them actually.
@@aaronshortmusic can the zoom g3xn do the job?. I'm searching around that price point. Thank you for answering
Aaron, what is the last guitar played in the video. Love the sound. Great video btw.
Angel 3!
@@aaronshortmusicI don’t see any reference to Angel on their website. Can you state the model using their current naming convention?
