Boots are already on the ground, they just leave the ground for a few seconds longer. Believe me, I hate COD as much as the next guy, I'm a battlefield fanboy, but that "boots on the ground" shit pisses me off because the players are on the ground more than they are in the air. What you want is a COD without that movement system.

I think they got sued for making games about ww2 or maybe it was because they used copy righted movies and documentary bits. And they already made like 4 games of the era so idk. I've been wanting to enjoy a call of duty game these last couple years, but they've been so bad. Hopefully the MW remaster will be sold separately after a few months and I'll buy that and enjoy a series I grew up loving since the first game.
Morphice The Great Wizard I wasn't a fan of the alpha or beta with titan fall 2, nor did I enjoy the first game either. The whole futuristic theme puts me off really quick, and I don't like how much veritcalilty there is when it comes to the player versus the environment. I'm fine with buildings being scalable either by climbing stairs and ladders or vehicle dropoffs, but being able to boost the player themselves just kills the experience for me.
Kyle Gruber A lot of people enjoyed it after the beta. Apparently the developers listened and fixed all concerns. Since the gameplay is your problem though, buying the game would be the last thing on your mind, which is absolutely fine. If WW is your taste, well you know what to try. So far though, MW Remastered would be the safest bet for you. Let's hope the nostalgia lives up. Anyways, I hope you find the best game for now. Maybe try some alternatives whilst CoD fixes their mistake.

And most importantly, STOP WITH THE FUCKING VARIANTS & PAY TO WIN STYLE DROPS FOR WEAPONS PLEASE! Oh yeah and make the game fun again too i guess that matters a little.....

Infinite Warfare graphics is literally 360/ps3-tier graphics. They spent 3 years on this game and they rushed out zombies and cod4 remastered due to the bad rep IW got. Claim they made CoD4 for the fans who want boots on the ground old school gameplay, yet you need to buy special edition of IW, and you cant sell the game later. I can assure you this game will slowly decline after 1-2 months when people are sick of all the bullshit IW has. You'll get small boost when DLC come out, then it'll die out. Also specialists or any similar type needs to be removed. It's literally support killstreaks that kills, which people hated in MW3, hence why it was removed in Ghosts.

personally, I loved playing the beta. Found it to be a lot of fun and way smoother to play than bo3. The movement system for me feels way better than bo3 and advanced warfare. Something about it makes it feel like mw2/mw3 (for me and my mates atleast) but still has the wall running and thrust jumping mechanics. I really didn't use those features that much in the beta. Some of the rigs though I'll say were somewhat weak and then others were really quite powerful but I still found them to be pretty good and balanced. The biggest thing i hate to do with Infinite Warfare are the haters who haven't even played it. Yea people are entitled to their opinions but people saying it "looks" cheap and "looks" like it isn't even call of duty. . . well play it then judge from your experience. Don't just jump on the Infinite Warfare hater bandwagon because so many people are talking negative of the game. Play it then judge it.

From the beta it felt like a reject version of Bo3 and Ghosts. The wall running and jumping were utterly terrible compared to Bo3 and the rigs destroyed any sense of game balance. On the plus side sniping was super easy which they've already nerfed.
SAKU MANIC rigs were super unbalanced. the steel dragon was worse than most normal guns and the Claw was so laughable op. other than rig imbalance, I actually enjoyed the beta quite a bit

TheCofarrell Not really. It actually did many things right as far as CoD goes: Weapon balance was very good, vertical movement was scaled down in a way that was manageable, and it brought a lot of unique game modes to CoD.

This is something that you learn when you work in a professional environment, Nade (office-type). There's nothing wrong with ripping into a game; and honestly, the whole "blood, sweat, and tears" that developers put into their games, that doesn't mean shit. While I am not in the gaming industry, I am in the same type of business that the gaming industry is, I help create a product by working on it, doing my part, and that product needs to be sold to consumers for a profit, just like games. At the end of the day, it does not matter if I spend working on my "product" 15 hours a day, barely getting any sleep, really working my ass off to make a good product; none of that matters. The ONLY thing that matters at the end, is the FINAL product. If the final product that I deliver is garbage and buggy and doesn't play well, then all my hard work means shit. The consumer (you), paid good money for a product that's suppose to work. You as the consumer, you don't wanna hear excuses as to WHY the product sucks, the only thing that the consumer is interested in, is getting their money's worth.

They are desperate new ideas that break a lot of consistency and kill streaks. After a while with Bo3, the specialists weapons got really old and annoying to die from. I feel like they are running out of ideas so the only choice is to keep hopping further and further into the future to keep things creative and fresh. Personally, I want to see them make a few history games that involve the Revolutionary War or the Civil war with basic guns and cannons

Believe me, I hate COD as much as the next guy, I'm a battlefield fanboy, but that "boots on the ground" shit pisses me off because the players are on the ground more than they are in the air. What you want is a COD without that movement system.
ok mr technical. yeah i want boots on the ground all the time. those few seconds in the air completely change the dynamic of the game. its not just being able to jump higher. the wall running is the main thing i hate and the fact that people can flank the map so easily. it ruins the strategy element of map control that was in previous cods.

I hated Ghosts, I bought Advanced Warfare because it looked cool at first but ended up being total shit, I bought BOIII because it was a Treyarch game but I hated it, and Infinite Warfare I'm just not gonna buy it not even for Modern Warfare R.emastered. I've been wanting to enjoy a call of duty game these last couple years, but they've been so bad. Hopefully the MW remaster will be sold separately after a few months and I'll buy that and enjoy a series I grew up loving since the first game.

Morphice The Great Wizard I wasn't a fan of the alpha or beta with titan fall 2, nor did I enjoy the first game either. The whole futuristic theme puts me off really quick, and I don't like how much veritcalilty there is when it comes to the player versus the environment. I'm fine with buildings being scalable either by climbing stairs and ladders or vehicle dropoffs, but being able to boost the player themselves just kills the experience for me.

Since the gameplay is your problem though, buying the game would be the last thing on your mind, which is absolutely fine. If WW is your taste, well you know what to try. So far though, MW Remastered would be the safest bet for you. Let's hope the nostalgia lives up.
Anyways, I hope you find the best game for now. Maybe try some alternatives whilst CoD fixes their mistake.

Infinite Warfare graphics is literally 360/ps3-tier graphics. They spent 3 years on this game and they rushed out zombies and cod4 remastered due to the bad rep IW got. Claim they made CoD4 for the fans who want boots on the ground old school gameplay, yet you need to buy special edition of IW, and you cant sell the game later.
I can assure you this game will slowly decline after 1-2 months when people are sick of all the bullshit IW has. You'll get small boost when DLC come out, then it'll die out.
Also specialists or any similar type needs to be removed. It's literally support killstreaks that kills, which people hated in MW3, hence why it was removed in Ghosts.

personally, I loved playing the beta. Found it to be a lot of fun and way smoother to play than bo3. The movement system for me feels way better than bo3 and advanced warfare. Something about it makes it feel like mw2/mw3 (for me and my mates atleast) but still has the wall running and thrust jumping mechanics. I really didn't use those features that much in the beta. Some of the rigs though I'll say were somewhat weak and then others were really quite powerful but I still found them to be pretty good and balanced.
The biggest thing i hate to do with Infinite Warfare are the haters who haven't even played it. Yea people are entitled to their opinions but people saying it "looks" cheap and "looks" like it isn't even call of duty. . . well play it then judge from your experience. Don't just jump on the Infinite Warfare hater bandwagon because so many people are talking negative of the game. Play it then judge it.

From the beta it felt like a reject version of Bo3 and Ghosts. The wall running and jumping were utterly terrible compared to Bo3 and the rigs destroyed any sense of game balance. On the plus side sniping was super easy which they've already nerfed.
SAKU MANIC rigs were super unbalanced. the steel dragon was worse than most normal guns and the Claw was so laughable op. other than rig imbalance, I actually enjoyed the beta quite a bit

The CoD community have been saying since Advanced Warfare that we dont like the exo-movement and we want to go back to boots on the ground. They aint listening and that's why the game seems to be in terminal decline.

Titanfall 2 does what futuristic CoD wanted to do and does it better. CoD needs to get back to basics. Do a boots on the ground, best of CoD with all the guns and maps from old games, Black Ops 2 and earlier.

I quit Cod right after Advance warfare, just watching the black ops 3 multiplayer trailer made me sick. I moved to Destiny, which is quite different, but very enjoyable, moving to destiny I could tell that Cod has started to copy features from different games, for example Specialist are Supers from destiny, destruction environments are from Battlefield and all this jumping crap from other fucking games, but no they didn't stop there, they added wall running and flying robots, WTF is this bullshit. I know they have added Cod4 remastered, but I honestly don't know what COD is anymore.

Bf1 had to add alter a lot from the original war to make the game enjoyable.
Anyway I probably would like the multi-player just how it used to be back in cod 1&2 single bolt weapons, no Attachments and unlocks, weapons which don't have a fire rate of 10000rpm.
But I wouldn't buy it because I could just play cod 2 instead, servers still alive.

They still make plenty a year on their games, so they have no reason to give a shit how shitty it is. Long as they make a lot of money, they'll continue. May run it into the ground, already did, but they'll make the money faster, get it now, instead of allowing more space in between each CoD, making it fresher, and in the long run, making less money, due to them focusing on content and the fun factor compared to just pushing them out.

This is something that you learn when you work in a professional environment, Nade (office-type). There's nothing wrong with ripping into a game; and honestly, the whole "blood, sweat, and tears" that developers put into their games, that doesn't mean shit. While I am not in the gaming industry, I am in the same type of business that the gaming industry is, I help create a product by working on it, doing my part, and that product needs to be sold to consumers for a profit, just like games. At the end of the day, it does not matter if I spend working on my "product" 15 hours a day, barely getting any sleep, really working my ass off to make a good product; none of that matters. The ONLY thing that matters at the end, is the FINAL product. If the final product that I deliver is garbage and buggy and doesn't play well, then all my hard work means shit. The consumer (you), paid good money for a product that's suppose to work. You as the consumer, you don't wanna hear excuses as to WHY the product sucks, the only thing that the consumer is interested in, is getting their money's worth.

I agree with some and don't agree with others, nevertheless I still respect your opinions. I agree that the wall running and specialists are not needed at all. They are desperate new ideas that break a lot of consistency and kill streaks. After a while with Bo3, the specialists weapons got really old and annoying to die from. I feel like they are running out of ideas so the only choice is to keep hopping further and further into the future to keep things creative and fresh. Personally, I want to see them make a few history games that involve the Revolutionary War or the Civil war with basic guns and cannons
