I’ve got one of these. Brilliant bit of kit. No more tugging on the starting cord and swearing because the damn thing won’t start.

Nice and to-the-point review. No faffing around telling us about the colours and running through the usual "tool review script". Straight into the cutting!
I was thinking of the smaller R230DCT as it's only to cut around 100 7N blocks (150ish cuts in total) for a DIY project. I thought it would be far easier and quicker to cut the blocks with this than the 9 inch grinder.
However, seeing this with water for dust suppression has made me change and decide to get this one. All my cutting will be done close to a house at the end of my garden and I'm always conscious of, and worried about, the dust - especially when their windows are open.
Quite pricy for DIY and one-time use... but it's cheaper than most others and it has that water feed. And... I can probably sell it afterwards for at least half of what I paid for it (probably?).

Hi Steve, Alex. Love your vids. I am a Builder as you are and this exact same model only lasted 3 months before what I believe to be the internal yellow coloured cooling fan disintegrated and blew the side black vent cap straight off. I have used it only as intended so a bit dubious of the longevity of the tool. No warning of this machine failing before it did so and up to the point it did was very impressed having other evolution products. I'm giving evolution the benefit of doubt that this is isolated. I did purchase of Amazon so I am waiting for a resolution . Thanks again for the vids boys . Update how you get on with your new saw. Hope you have many years of it working perfectly. 👍👍

I bought one of these when my previous saw failed. I absolutely love it. Their customer support is absolutly briliant, based in the UK. The only minus i can find is the blade is a funny size bore and I could get one from Screwfix / Toolstation etc.

Looks good and, I am absolutely certain, Steve and Alex will benefit from using it.
There may be others who deserve it's use and practibility but, for me, Steve and Alex are at the front of the queue.
It's always a pleasure to watch their videos and I wish them both, "every success for the future."

Hi Sam without digging it out of the garage I’m not sure.
      We were given ours.
You can get one with a bigger disc meaning a deeper cut but not sure of the model.
I personally don’t like them because of the noise but most of all the smell on your clothes of petrol fumes.
We have a Milwaukee battery 🔋 cutter so much better 😍🟥🧱👍🏽

Balance is nicer than the old 1 , but mine set on fire after 6 months, the brush must of cooked and dropped inside, sent it back to evolution and they put a second hand back part on it full of concrete and tried to put a different serial number on it , I phoned them and told them they have sent the wrong one back to us , they said they haven't, we only cut very mild steel with ours so shouldn't have concrete on the handle, luckily I took a photo of my serial number before I sent it back , all of a sudden the guy who repaired it and sent it back isn't in work he's off ill, if yours breaks under warranty make sure you take pictures of your serial number and condition its in because has a company who offers warranty I think they are rats
