Hello. Is the Street Twin good for a beginner big bike rider (i've only been riding a scooter for the past 3 years)? I'm almost set on getting a Trident 660 but I honestly prefer the look and the sound of the Street Twin. I'm just worried that 900cc might be too much to handle.
Street Twin has less horsepower than the Trident. It's a medium type bike as far as performance. If you have the money you can enroll in a MSF course to learn how to handle a clutch at slow speeds and develop better throttle control. Even a small bike can take off on you if you haven't learned how to use the clutch and throttle smoothly.
Very nice and classic looking but with all the modern bits 'n' pieces, from a distance there's little difference in style from my fully restored 1972 Honda CB450 K5, yes I know it will handle better, brake better and be faster but which is better taking into consideration no MOT needed, cheap classic insurance, no road tax needed and half the price for the Honda? Applies to U.K. only.

The Triumph Bonneville (650cm²)was 1972 my first motorcyckle. It was a dream!!! High speed at that time 188 km/H

@Triumph please change it to Spoked wheels, self cancelling signal lights , more chrome and (maybe) front led lights as standard in the next upgrade.
Fox shocks are a very good improvement. Front forks could be better. Great bike overall 👌

It's a small bike. I'm short with short legs and I can flat foot it easily. It's tiny.
Did the ST retain the same suspension travel F&R? BTW, the rear shock's spring coiling appear to be of lighter material? Change for better ride?

Ankit, you are entitled to your opinion but this bike is superior to the RE in so many ways. BTW, I’ve owned both.
