Man, I really appreciate that. There’s so many quality artifacts found on TH-cam, just being considered amongst one of the better ones is an honor. The persistence pays off for me no doubt though! Sorry about the slow pace at which I’ve been putting videos out though. Working and hunting have been very time consuming over the past few months! I have tons to share, so get ready! Thanks again and as always buddy!

Wowzers! All beautiful artifacts! But I do have my favorites! The gorget amazing! That blade it looked real old ! The spade shaped one and the last beauty also, also a cool old bullet . Take it easy.

Thanks as always! I can’t catch a break with the gorgets.. all I can seem to find are broken ones! I’m still pleased to find them though. I agree with you about that blade though. It’s unifaced and so well made too, which I typically associate both with something old. I appreciate you coming back to check out the new round of finds!

Thanks man, I try not to let the aches, pains, and general lack of sleep keep me from participating in my favorite pass time activity of recovering artifacts! I know my time to hang up the boots will be here before I know it. I will at least be able to hopefully look at my frames and reminisce of the long days spent trudging through mud and poison ivy with a smile on my face the whole time! I appreciate you taking the time to check out the finds. Where did you hunt in your heyday?

@@Points365 Well, I was born in Young Harris Ga and was raised up in the North Ga. mountains. Back in the 50s up til the mid 80s, the fields were still plowed and I hit them as often as I could. Being a kid, I also liked fishing in the creeks and have found a few points when fishing for trout. When in my early 20s I got deeply interested in hunting artifacts and hit the areas that I knew that always produced a few points. I hit the jackpot when I discovered a village site in a field that no one had hunted, mainly because the field was about 2 miles long and the village site was about a half mile into the field. When I discovered the village, you could not take a single step without picking up an arrowhead, beads, pottery, pipes, tomahawks....... The field was so rich in finds that you could actually pick up an arrowhead and if you didnt think it was perfect, just pick up another. I hit that field daily when possible and woud take home 100 arrowheads each day. The field was finally found to have a burial on it and the Cherokee Nation stopped everyone from hunting there and they now have a golf course. I remember those good days though. I wish I could hit those sweet spots with you, but I know how I would guard my secret spots, so I just hope one day you would invite me to look at your collection. Thanks a lot for sharing and responding.

Amen to the broken gorget… I still haven’t found a whole one! But man, my collection of 3 ringers grows by at least half a dozen every year. The shelf they are displayed on should probably get some reinforcement because that lead is starting to pile up. A good problem to have if you ask me!

Sadly it's not huntable, too many cattle on it. The family that owned the property during the civil war and up until the 1970's were a prominent pro union family that featured large in the war. They were mentioned in a book " Searching for Booger County" a history of Douglas county Missouri. A very interesting read by a local author

@@Points365 Lerma's are an oddball. It's actually considered a cluster, not a type from what I understand.
And they're given dates from, 10,000 BC to 500 AD.. very strange.
They suspiciously look like Solutrean points. But that can't be possible, right? Anyway, I never can tell.

This is a very nice group of relics! I would like to know what culture each one represents. I knew several types, based on my OhiO knowledge but they could have different names in TN. The last point (bottleneck?) looks like Flint Ridge material.

I definitely think it was still used. Whether as a knife or what I haven’t a clue though? Even with the lack of base it still could’ve easily been hafted to a shaft. Like Eva’s for example.. little to no base on them, but clearly used as projectile points hafted onto a shaft. I always wondered how often they found artifacts in creeks and whatnot and reused them?!

God forbid you accept anyone for having a different viewpoint Cason. Thats what’s wrong with people… especially your type. They insist on existing in an echo chamber devoid of any opposing views or ideas. If someone does have a different viewpoint, you irrationally shut them out. Good thing you’re unsubscribing so you don’t have to hear the long winded political commentaries in my videos. I will allow you to unsubscribe now.

It's crazy how much control CNN has on the people who watch it. It's literally brainwashing people who I don't believe are all inherently evil

I have to ask why do you choose not to talk? I feel like I’m watching a silent movie from 1915 I I believe you’re uploads could be more enjoyable if you could just say something every now again for people who are not experts in point identification.

I am by no means an expert at point identification. I would surely mislabel something and give off false information mistakingly. As for the silence, that’s just how I choose to do it really. When I go back and reminisce on my finds by watching my own videos, the last thing I want is the moment to be ruined by hearing myself rambling in the background! I also want the entire focus being on the artifacts and their craftsmanship, nothing else. It’s just a personal preference. Plus I enjoy my privacy and nobody really knowing anything about me. I don’t want to be the focal point of the videos! Haha thanks for the input and I appreciate you checking out the finds.

@@Points365 I absolutely mean no disrespect the quality of the points you find are second to none and I am sure you put a lot of time into it. I will continue watching. Have a wonderful day.
