Journey From Wild- first touch for Oliver.

  • Oliver is a 14 year old Brumby gelding from the Bogong High Plains who was caught in 2015 and gelded by being run into a crush to be sedated- he has had no handling beyond that.
    A friend bought him from the Brumby association end of 2018 or start of 2019 but then had no time to train him so he remained unhandled in his paddock with a herd of other horses and Brumbies, some wild some trained.
    I will be documenting the process with Oliver and then taking him to Equitana Melbourne in November to present my Education sessions “Journey From Wild” and “The Horse is Never Wrong”.

      @@P_E_P_1966 yes sounds funny hey and if you ever spend time with trained horses you probably will never hear it, but with wild and scared horses it’s a pretty common expression.
