    UPDATE: So Superior has doubled their price to a little over $60 usd now, which I’m not a fan of. They were originally $30 when I purchased on EBAY (which they’ve stopped selling on) I’ve always heard from several people that have had quality control problems, so buyer beware. Not a fan of increasing prices when you get more popular and then quality starts to slip.

    Hello everyone! As always, great content good sir. Just wanted to know everyone about my experience after purchasing one faulty pair of this gloves where the cuff area was badly stiched and the thumb leather "strip" was badly stitched and already coming off. I contacted them and they just literally laughed saying "dont worry you can still punch". Due to "covid" (they claim) they are shipping from Pakistan even though the description says it's from New York, so even though Ebay gave me the reason in the dispute, the shipping cost to return them is way higher. Just be aware that it seems if you have any issue (at least with me) the customer service it's just terrible. Stay safe everyone!

    Mine has started to bubble quite a bit been using them only for the heavybag. Still a great value glove but just be aware of this flaw I have a feeling they have some sort of plastic covering over the foam to protect it from water damage like sweat and this is what is causing the bubbling along the knuckle area.

  • @trixxdakid
    @trixxdakid 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Bought these a couple months back, and I avoid using them unless Im doing sparring since I got the lace up. Im unsure if Winning runs “roomier” inside like a Cleto since I have yet to own a Winning pair, but I got these in 16oz and they are too roomy. After wraps and NG-2s my hands slide around on impact. Unfortunately with these if I use them on a heavy bag, its really only to mark my shots and I only feel comfortable landing heavy body shots instead. I would size down to 14 for these so you can hit the bag and not have your hand move around. If anyone has input on Winning whether they are roomy inside drop a comment pls. I want to make sure that I buy the correct size for those once I do. Or if you know Carlo pls let us know the overall fit for Winnings.

    Hey Carlo, you your videos are the best! Quick question, I’m looking for another pair of gloves that are affordable but doesn’t sacrifice too much quality....Would you prefer these Superior gloves over the Rival RB4 Econo bag gloves? I notice they are both cheaper than most gloves but I live in Hawaii and after shipping gets added on it gets a bit pricey. I like the “winning style” design of the the superior but I’m worried about how terrible the stitching is. For the Rival RB4, I like how clean it looks and I also like the look of the graphics, but I watched your review on those also and you mentioned the durability might be an issue. Thanks for all the great content, and keep up the great work brother!

    Pakistan really makes a surprisingly good leather products. Not just gloves but weightlifting belts too.
    I got some Pakistan made gloves first then a year of training later, some thailand made windy gloves expecting them to be a relatively premium upgrade.
    But quality wise the Pakistan gloves are better than twice as good. If I did not know I would assume the Pakistan gloves were way more expensive but they cost half the price.
    Many of the Pakistani glove makers that sell on eBay etc are also often willing to do custom gloves in whatever wacky colour you like. Where the actual leather is coloured (like grant etc even metallic) not printed gloves.

    Stitching wasn't bad on mine. As you can see (not addressed) is that on all gloves the right hand isn't as curved or as long/stiff as the left. The right glove in all cases (including my own) is perfect and the left is too long, stiff and curved. (No jokes here) It's not as long or polished as a Winning glove. I'm guessing it's rejects from the Winning factory. Like in carbon fiber bicycles. The rejects, (even near up to standards) are usable and pretty good. The thumb (not addressed) is not for sparring. Superior is fixing the attachment due to Fit2Box's suggestion.

    Hey mate these are now going for $112AUD with shipping, I've been looking for a winning alternative, I use ringside imf for sparring and topboxer win1 for bagwork rn, but don't like how bulky the ringsides feel, do you reckon these are worth the buck for an Aussie ? Or should I fork out that little bit more and just grab some cletos or r2c etc. Most brands you can find new or near to new for under $200 here except like winning & grant which you'll be lucky to find used for under $350, sorry for the paragraph they're just at that awkward price point haha
