I've been to his shop, he does good work and seems like a straight up good guy. The industry is loaded with ripoffs but he has lived up to promises to customers that i've seen. Did a nice job on the Vex. I'm sure the new c8 has put a damper on things but glad to see him continue with customer builds.
For that price I might as well get a corvette

The purpose is to be unique. I’d rather have 1 of 20 cars than one of 100,000 cars. This is coming from a person that owns a c8. I love Vette’s but they certainly aren’t unique.
You are the only guy I know doing this specifically. Keep going. Don't change the formula or focus to try to grow faster.

They lengthen the car also more the just pulling an old body off the chassis and dropping a new one on

That's all they can't even upgrade the engine output. That's retarded & still have to provide a donor Porsche.
The Vex is the cheapest model they offer due to the non custom interior & Boxster donor..... Vendetta & Vengeance don’t need a donor car they can be made from a custom tubular frame which increases the price
Companies like Gagliardi are like exotic car start-ups. Back in the day you could build cars as you pleased now things are much complicated because of regulations and laws so now you have to start from regulated and proven designs like Boxter.

so it's just better to go buy a new C8...
@@Itr-tv7kt Exactly. Would an LS even fit in the engine bay? I'm thinking all the cost of doing that and making the drive-train function as it should would probably end up doubling the cost of the project. Might as well get a C8 with a warranty that will perform circles around this.

There is a Company called Renegade Hybrids that can Build you a LSV8 Powered Porsche Boxster as well as a Porsche Cayman!
Also, for you FORD Fans there is a Company called Power by the Hour that can Build you a 5.0L Coyote V8 powered Cayman and they could probably Build you a Porsche Boxster version as well!...I am Just Saying!..God Bless America! 😇
@@DavidJSmith-hl6kb Good to know but then again there's the additional cost for an engine swap, which IMO isn't worth it when there's a superior turnkey solution with warranty...but for someone who _really_ wants a Gagliardi I guess there are options out there.

However, I have heard other owners of small car companies present themselves and their products. They just seemed to sound a lot more professional to me. Maybe their products are good or maybe they aren't, I honestly don't know.

To me it looks like a gtr nose, Ferrari hood and lambo tail. But this guy clearly doesn't have a design philosophy of his own and no creativity at all.

It is more important to look good than to feel good.
You can actually get that car, make some major changes to the front and rear end, then slap some Lamborghini badges on it. If anyone asks you about it, you can just tell them it's a concept car that's not available to the general public.

If you can, get up close pics of the seems & along the edges of the cars. The Vaydor was hit and miss in those areas ...the alignment was tight enough for me - so I moved on. They were just starting the Vet project (it was under a tarp). Gonna drive over & see the new Vet project, but I like that this guys builds them and over time so the process should be refined. Thanks fir the vid will look into it. Looking for a kit car for 2021

The logic beyond the scene. If you have extra money then this is good to collect. But if your money good enough for a vehicle ready for you to enjoy the beauty of every places. Then choice those car that completely made for you. Anyway, the car Vex is very brilliant one also. Thumbs up to the maker of this video and to the Company owner.

I think this is a good looking car,I have my own likes and dislikes with it, great alternative and for the price, its not bad at all. So many people have made comments that's obviously not educated and have never built anything for themselves.
Since Vex is built on 2nd hand Boxster, does Vex tell people how old the donor Boxster is? Like mileages and years?
This is cool and all but for $45k a used gtr, audi r8 or even the new c8 might cost a tiny bit more. They will oyt perform and demand the same amount of attention if not more the vex

What are your top picks for an affordable 45k$ and under kits?
Personally I'm a big fan of the DDR GT8, Ultima Evo, and anything from Factory Five but those can all end up on the pricier end. For something really affordable you'd probably want to look at a Miata-based build like the Bauer Catfish (video soon) or Exomotive Exocet.

Someone will need to create something off an AWD donor car with massive horsepower increase options to really compete with a base 60K C8 Corvette. Especially when the used ones really start hitting the market after 2023.
This one actually looks way better than the vaydar and the Corvette crap. This one looks so clean but I would wanna get that motor up to at least 500hp

I like it but donor car + 45k for base with no performance upgrades will have me looking towards a Corvette or something I know can be serviced if need be.
You can get urself a nice build for around 70k$ & there’s nothing complicated about servicing the car since you’ll most likely have a common engine in it that any shop can service

Since a half decent used Porshe Boxter sells for $35K, I don't see how they can sell you a quality hand built rebodied car for $45,000. The new wider, peformance wheels and tires will cost $6K alone. The paint would be $6K. We're already over $45K and haven't even started on the body and needed chassis and suspension modes...

Walnut,CA & yea you’ll get a turnkey after providing the donor car or you can go with a custom tubular frame if they offer it for the specific model you want but then the price will increase
