That’s awesome. As an American Jew, it’s so weird and heartening to see people nationally celebrating what was always just a “little Jewish festival” to us.

Even many Christ following Christians read the book of Esther on this day and pray for the mantle of Esther to stand up for such a time as this against injustice and for God. However, no tradition tells them to do it, just we find ourselves reviewing it and seeing the connections by what we call the Holy Spirit (Genesis one through three ruach ha-kodesh). We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. A city I have stood in and prayed for the peace of as a Ezekiel 34 “good shepherd” follower. Jesus is Jewish by him Christ followers are grafted into the family although most Jews only know what they’ve heard of Christians from Hollywood and not actually reading what looks like John and Matthew have to say. The word Christ is not a last name it’s Latin for Hamashiach our promised Messiah. Jesus is Latin for Joshua (Yeshua, that name has meaning, psalm meanings). Goyim’s don’t make for very good cultural Jews, but they are not meant to be. They follow scripture to the best of their understanding, but come from a different culture and even secular calendar. We wait for the Joel 2 trumpet blows in the fall with a second coming of Christ, but gentile or Jew neither keep the biblical new year (spring) and both add traditions ontop of traditions that make it seem as if we follow something completely different, but to the Christian they pray “by his stripes we are healed” and to the Jew they wait for “by his stripes” healing to come for them. It’s all explained in scripture, but you actually have to read scripture for yourself casting off all preconceived beliefs praying as Jeremiah 29 says humbly with your whole heart seeking the truth so you can find it. Even if you want to understand current events you have to view them through the lens of scripture. The book of Amos, Zachariah, Isaiah, Ezekiel even Psalm 84 if you understand scripture you understand the voice of the Lord and current, past, and future events.
Even if you are not surrounded by Jewish people, if you are surrounded by truly Christian people, they will read Scriptures with you, because those are their scriptures too. We are not to try to belong to each other, we belong to God, and in belonging to God those who also believe in God find each other, those who make an idol of their own beliefs are exposed if they refuse to humble to what scripture “actually” says. God still speaks, the humble who listen can’t help but hear.

Traditionally, kids give gifts and adults give donations to two people in need as well as food to someone who is hungry. The two donations to the poor can be given as food or money to cover the cost of a meal. Modern is to cut a check to a charity place. Half a shackle doesn’t likely keep up with inflation. Remember, this is just tradition, not command. God looks at the heart. David wasn’t considered a man after Gods own heart because he was perfect, it’s because when he danced, he danced for the Lord, and when he heard to do something, he obeyed. See Amos in this season if you were watching the News back in October you will get Amos 1:13 and how to keep God on your side, by staying on his side.

God is good. It’s rejection of his way that makes sin and the consequences that must follow. God is merciful, but he is also just so his mercy can come. We pray for the hostages and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Hopefully this is respected, in the name of Jesus I pray(not by my works, but his) for the peace of Jerusalem and the forgiveness of our sins through his self sacrifice so peace can be had. By humble seeking can we take root in the word and grow, may we all, as we grow, may those who love God who is only good grow in unity together and support of each other. Blessings from America. We rebuke all idolatry and seek you God. Amen (meaning, let it be so, let it be so).

In some Iraqi and Iranian communities, we use phyllo shells for the Oznei Haman crusts and fill them with spinach artichoke dip, additional cheese, and Persian scallions. Not sure about other people, but high-carb, overly sweet desserts were never a thing in my house. No offence, but Megillah reading in Nusach Bavli Yerushalmi (plus the “Kululu”) still has Ashkenazi/Chabad beat.

Thank you for this! In christian communities this story about Ester sometimes is described as a romantic story between the beautiful Ester and king Ahasverus. I wonder how jewish beleivers think of that? To me, it does not seem romantic. What choice did this young women have? Still she was chosen by God to save His people for a time like that. Wonderful to think about that the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob will see to and protect His people even today.

I was taught that the king chose Esther as one of his wives because she was the most beautiful in Shoshone.
She did not want to marry him, but her uncle Mordechai told her it was necessary.
She was afraid of the king. One of his other wives, Vashti, was killed for going to the king without being requested.

It is not romantic at all. Being taken forcefully to the kings harem, then having months of beauty treatment with various oils and creams, then spending the night with the king, and he will either choose you as his queen, or set you aside, doesn’t seem romantic at all.

the literal words say that vashti will never come before the king again. Based on the fact that all the women who were brough as her replacement were not allowed to go home after it makes no sense that she would just be let off with a divorce and all the jewish sources say she was executed. And Esther was not "chosen by Gd" in the sense that she had no choice, she was specifically told that if she doesnt step up the salvation will come from someone else, she chose to risk her life and leave her family behind in order to save her people. But yeah the megilla hit different this year, a reminder that this is not the first time and salvation can come at any moment

All their Prophets are our Prophets, Prophet Muhammad (saw) was the last of them. When we live and worship there, we are imitating the Prophets and following their footsteps.... We also believe that Miraj Ascension into the heavens and 5x a day prayer revelation happened there, and Prophet Muhammad (saw) prayed with all the Prophets there. We believe that if we pray there, it's worth to 1000x or 5000x normal prayer. Our Day of Resurrection will occur there. It's also where the disciple of Prophet Muhammad (saw) lived. Also, Prophet Muhammad (saw) great grandfather Hashem was buried in Gaza.
We believe judasim is distorted version of original beliefs of the Prophets from Adam AS to Abraham AS to Jacob AS and Isaac AS...it was a belief in the one God of Abraham without partners for the world but they made into ethnic centric religion and a racist religion. Cutting out and ignoring explicit verses of Torah and Talmud that allowed monotheistic gentiles to live there. Like Isaac, AS bought Hagar back to Abraham AS after Sarah died. Why did Mose AS marry an Arab woman who was monothiest. Why did Abraham AS circumcised Ishmael if he thought he was not a believer??? And what did God have covenant with Ishmael AS if he was not a believer??? Why did Isaac AS and Ishmael bury Abraham AS together if he was idolworshipper???
Even in judasim, they bury the dead quickly in a day or two. If Ishmael was banished far away from Palestine, how did Isaac quickly message Ishmael AS and get to burry him on time??? He must have been near by and constant communication as they were only siblings they had.
Why did Solomon AS marry the Arab Queen of Sheba??? If she was not allowed to live on the land???
Even the name Isreal explains that is covenant bound religion, not an ethnicity bound religion. The "al" part of the name Isreal is Allah. The Isre part means to a binding, so being bound to Allah swt, bound by covenant. Jews take it to be to wrest with God, but that's not the meaning...so the religion is covenant based religion, if that covenant based religion and like any covenant, its a two way contract, not a one way, if breached, theirs penalties and ultimately breaks. Which bani Isreal did by attacking Prophets not once but several times and for altering the religion, following Rabbis rather then Hashem, taking them as lords by accepting alterations of the law by them. For example, they permanently suspended prostration on the ground of prayer. They added dietary restriction and adding requirements like wearing tefflin that Prophets never wore or their disciples...

Ask yourself why the word jew is never mentioned the Torah????
Because there was no jew at the time of the Prophets. They were called children of Isreal. They became jews later. After Solomon passed away, the kingdom of Isreal split into two Judaiyya and Isreal...the people of judaiyya started identifying themselves as jews as people from Judayya and Isreal as Samaritans that are there today with their own Torah. They pray in a similar manner to Muslims.
By becoming jews, they started to part from traditional Prophets ways and even tried killing Prophet Zakariya AS who run into a tree which they tried to cut and killed John his son and rejected him as a Prophet as he had called out the King incestuous relationship with his niece whose mother was trying to use her daughter to seduce him to get power and authority.... so the niece wanted Prophet Johns head because he said this is not kosher/halal in their religion, and she did not like the humiliation and being called out on it. She told the King she would marry him if he gives her Prophet John's head.
After all this, they would naturally not accept Prophet Jesus AS who was John cousin and they spent time together and Prophet Zakaria nephew and raised with him. Mary was a daughter of Prophet Zakaria wife's sister, I think her name was Hannah.
Prophet Zakariyya AS had guardianship over Mary RA after her pious religious father died.
So the murderers of Prophet Zakariya AS and John AS would never accept Jesus AS as Prophet, as their deaths were very fresh

@@salampakistan3691 Their Prophets are your prophets🤣😂, Aren't You ashamed of taking Someones ideology into your account, You Copy cats!!!Even Adam is a Prophet according to Islam, it is reverse and crippled idea to the theological aspects of Semitical religions like Judaism and Christianity. The idea of "Prophethood" only belongs to Jews.. Even some Jews attested Muhammad to be a "Hanpe" which means "Pagan", "the Prophet of the Pagan", Who dont have a Jewish lineage.. Who didn't have their own Book called Muslims, Why would Jews need an Arab Prophet, who don't belong to their Lineage?????... Even Quran says " Prophets are send to their own community, Each community has their own Prophet"... Muhammad being a Prophet is wrong Islamic Interpretation, he acted more like the "Apostle" of Allah..the same manner how Jesus send his Disciples to spread Good Word to the Whole World, Muhammad is more Apt to "Rasool" or Apostle than the Jewish idea of "Navi"...Muhammad is for Arabs not for Jews!!!!!!
Jewish prostration is not in the fashion of Islamic Prostration, " Jews falls head on heels" facing ground, ( somewhat like Hindu Brahmins do in India), Jews stopped prostrating only after the Destruction of Temple, not because of the Rabbinical interference.....Be a fool, but dont spread your foolishness to others!!!

The name Jews became popular only After Arabs Invasion and Nazi Germany... Before they where called Benni Isarel, Even Qur'an say so...
Muhammad was a Peodophile married, who married 6year old kid, According to Torah he could have Stoned to death... Thank God, Muhammad didn't live at time of Moses

Dear Jews. Bolssonaro is a friend of Putin. So much so that he went to visit him on the eve of the war against Ukraine.
Why didn't Bolsonaro politicians go and ask for Russia's support for Israel?
Do you think that those who have been receiving gifts from Saudi Arabia really have a devotion to Israel?
    Think about it!

I totally agree and understand that Purim should be celebrated because of the great God’s deliverance of His people from destruction by giving food and joy to others…
I love the book of Esther, but the ones who say they are (and are not) getting drunk and wearing helloween costumes while getting wild in the streets…
I just don’t see this as a holy way of celebrating and giving honor and praise to the Lord God Almighty. Just sayin…

It is interesting that in the history of Iranians they have saved the Jews several times and in response jews celebrate a story that is not documented in history, that is the story in which a minister intended to destroy the Jews and in response jews killed 75 thousand Iranians.
killing 75 thousand people who helped you and you celebrate it!!!!
I really wonder if you are not at least a little sad and ashamed that you celebrate slaughtering and bloodshed? Even as an untrue story, it is disturbing

This Purim festival is the festival when Esther massacred the Iranian Zoroastrians, the holocaust of the Zoroastrians was at the hands of the Jews, even though Cyrus the Great saved the Jews, this festival is a smile on the Iranians and Zoroastrians. it is a lie in the book of ester. she was a liar even though she didn't tell the Shah she was a jews, and she was preparing and eating her kosher food in hiding.
