    Nice set up, as with every case, each situation is different. Depending on your activity and your area, each person should prepare their kit accordingly. Also, just like a fire kit, it is very important to make sure you actually know how to use every thing in your kit!

    Love the gear! But make that pack a tear away... easy to do and would be more versatile!

    I’d add a swat t tourniquet. I add them in my small kits that I can’t fit an Israeli bandage into. Works as a TQ and a pressure dressing

      Bobby Coffey what about self application? Gonna struggle to one hand a SWAT-T.

    Excellent kit. I wish Vanquest made this in a rip away. I have this for one of my kits in the tan. Great job.

      Shaun Cassady thank you. Vanquest was going to be working with me on some product reviews but I never back from them. I’ve been told that they are very good about accepting feedback from the select people that they work with for product reviews. I Was really hoping to work with a great company like them, so that I could offer feedback for product development and enhancement.

I’ll eventually post a detailed list in the video description of everything that I’ve got in there, I just didn’t have time when I posted video. Thank you for your time and comment sir

      Thank you. I have seen some for sale at gun shows but generally what I see are two things. One they’re expensive and two they are not up to my standards. Very seldom do I find a reputable medical vendor at a gun show that I spend a good amount of money with. You’re honestly better off buying either a kit for you and to spell sure you and your family taking a medical class if you’re not already trained and Bobby Adams individually. It will be cheaper for you in the long run. Plus you’re going to get ample training in the process. Check out a guy on TH-cam called SKINNY MEDIC. The guy really knows his stuff he seems to be a very genuine person and I believe he has some medical bags premade for sale on a website that he runs. I hope that this helps and I hope you have a blessed day sir

    Put both pair of gloves on same time. If one is dirty put it off and below there you have a clean one then without exposing yourself.

      AV84USA medical school. If you aren’t trained, don’t even try.

    Price for the bag isnt THAT bad. Thinking of purchasing. Do they have a discount for military members? Thanks for the video by the way!

    • @SONofLIBERTY
      @SONofLIBERTY  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Roman Martinez I apologize for such a long delay but TH-cam doesn’t always notify me when I get comments on my videos. They may offer a military/veteran discount. I don’t know off the top of my head but it would definitely be worth asking Vanquest about. And thank you very much.

    Do you think that writing vital info ON the patient, specifically a trauma patient would also be a good idea vs. having to pass on a piece of paper? Just looking for ideas and not bashing you in any way!

    • @SONofLIBERTY
      @SONofLIBERTY  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Baristaboy1989 I have done it before when placing a tourniquet on a patient. It’s not a bad idea at all. In fact it might even be a better way in some circumstances. I’ll give you an example that happened to me when I was on my way home from work one afternoon. The guy was traveling at a high rate of speed left the road and went through a telephone pole. The back end of the car was still being held in place suspended in the air by the lower portion of the telephone pole. The rest of the Telephone pole and wires were dangling all over the place. I didn’t know if the area around the vehicle or vehicle was charged, So I kept a safe distance and just verbally communicated with him to get all the information that was pertinent. Once law-enforcement and fire department showed up I Simply passed the information along and got the hell out of the way. So I think adapting to the situation given the circumstances will always dictate our reaction. Thanks for stopping by and I always love conversation with people that make me think. Stay safe out there

      It's a great idea. We use it on spinal cord injuries to track loss of feeling as it moves up the body.

    Isn’t the purpose of an IFAK generally for your own individual first aid needs?

    • @SONofLIBERTY
      @SONofLIBERTY  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not entirely. At least in my opinion. If you and your best friend are driving around and get into an accident and he's hurt bad. Would you NOT use your kit to treat him because it was built for you? What if you caused an accident and the person you hit had a small child that was injured because of you, Would you not use your kit then? Food for thought.

    Do any of those items have a experasion date that you would have to worry about.

    • @SONofLIBERTY
      @SONofLIBERTY  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris Debonis the Epi does have an expiration of 1year. However as long as the medicine is still clear and not cloudy, I keep them to disperse them into multiple places. This is a personal decision that I’ve made but I only get 2 a year.

    missing a compression bandage. unless I missed it

    • @SONofLIBERTY
      @SONofLIBERTY  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TacticalDesire I’m thinking of adding a Swat T Tourniquet to the kit. That way I’ll have a secondary Tourniquet and can double as a compression bandage.
