That is so cool Hunter! I could have used that last summer! I wondered how they got the rope up in the tree!!! Stay safe and healthy Hunter!
You might try putting the section of hose you want to slide on into a bucket of very warm water. Then you could wet down the metal surface with much less soapy water; it should slide on a lot easier. That’s recommended for connecting irrigation hose to faucet head assemblies.
8.50 lubricate the shaft, hehehe
what is the diameter of the bars head?
Try dumping some solution down the tubing before installing
Lube that heat w dish soap and push it just past the angle. That sling ain't going nowheres. Sling alignment is crucial.
Those heads are expensive. Just how often are they needing replacement for occasional use?
I replace mine every 3-5 years. You don't have to buy the whole head. Just buy the elastic pouch part like I did. It also helps to keep the head out of sunlight when not in use.
@@OldSoulMillennial I found that if I fill the inside of the first 5 inches of the tubing on each side and dump it out immediately with very slightly soapy water, I was able to slide the tubing completely on to the head.
store it in stable conditions (not a hot truck) and there might even be a rubber treatment to prevent dry rot out there.
