Peroxide on a tissue or paper towel, wash the outside of the seed and that will take the mold off of them. I did that to get rid of the bearded black algae on my heater in the aquarium and the peroxide killed it right off after doing that 3 times. Why 3 for me, because the heater went back into the water. But. After doing that to the seeds, then you can rinse them and plant them. Should help you out. It did for me on that bearded black algae.
Good thought. I've been giving it water from the dehumidifier too. More like rain water. I have acid loving plant type fertilizer as well. Maybe time for a repot to add bark. My well water high PH.
Don't let it get to tall, you will end up with a whip. My friend could not believe why his grew 5 foot tall and no side branches. I told him he tad to trim it back to help it fill out. Plus he was giving it a 5-1-1 fertilizer and I told him about fertilizer for citrus trees to use that. Whether he did it or not, I don't know, but, advice is for free and they have to think of it as so and go and use their own research.
I use 2 parts water and 1 part isopropyl alcohol and 4-5 drops of dishwashing liquid in a quart spray bottle....kills fungus gnats, mealy bugs and aphids.
Thank you! would probably keep the cat off the plants too! I use dish soap, but it tends to only work a couple times. I do use soap mix. This year it seems to be causing the leaves to drop off. No name for the Ladybug yet. I have to name it something like Rambo or Arnold maybe!😅😂
Woah! That's crazy! We have carpenter ants here too. They usually have red on them. The hill that cover themselves with spruce needles, those are carpenter ants. The all black ones we call garden ants and the full red ones, we call those ass holes and send them back to hell with fire... 😅🐜🔥🔥🔥 I love ants, I've always wanted a colony, but hubby said no. I do start colonies for people though. I do test tube starts. A channel called Ant's Canada, he does some cool things.
Very cool! Hey if you sprinkle some cinnamon on those seeds it should help stop the mold. I never really noticed the 3 sided parts of the seeds. If you want here is the video I made on germinating my ginkgos. I got about 30 from this batch. Good luck with yours! th-cam.com/video/HKJHAOscBFo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sW0QmfQC3t-_CXWk
@@dkstott29 Cinnamon is a must have for Adenium. Any cut you make on a Desert Rose needs to dry out with cinnamon on it to prevent fungal infection! It has so many great uses! Cinnamon sticks are nice to chew on and a good tool for people trying to quit smoking. Have something in their mouth like a cigarette. But smells way better.
Another great video by the master of the North Woods, Marysol. Stay warm out there.

Great Idea!
Ficus benjamina looks good! That dino has a great life and nice window view!
Thank you!
Azalea might need more of an acid based soil. More peat moss into the soil will help along with a mix of chopped pine bark. Just a thought.

Either way, that lady bug will eat the bugs off of your plants.
Too bad about the ficus on the turtle! That's a neat idea. Great trees hope the ginko Grow for you. Cool diy root rake too!
Thank you! Fingers crossed I get at least a couple Ginkgo. Such cool trees!
My hunch is that the ficus is tiger bark ficus...its the most common for ginseng grafts... the leaves are too narrow for it to be green island ficus..
Thank you!

Yes indeed! Mine get that 20-20-20 and aquarium water. I also give them my last sip of coffee or tea that's too cold to drink. Cactus love that too.
Hello! Marysol! Dawn Dish soap, 2% milk, Cayenne pepper. That would be an indoor-safe pesticide. That Lady Bug is huge Did you name her?

That ant looks like a carpenter ant....they love wet wood and can destroy property...a nest of them devoured the header across my dad's garage door...
