Thank you for making this very very simple. I am sitting here binge watching as a homeowner. We should change the wax rings on our toilets often before there’s a leakage thank you for making it simple. I saw one video it said, sometimes you can add double wax rings on a toilet to make it more leakproof.
Not everyone has one that sponge trick is actually pretty cool wish I would've known this before I flipped my commode. But a dollar sponge doing the same thing as a 60$ shop vac is pretty cool less bulky too
If your toilet is leaking at the bottom and moves around. It's usually due to the wax ring. What happens is that one side of the wax ring gets pushed down and compresses, which leaves a gap. So, a new wax ring fixes the issue.
I use a long straw to drink the water up out the bowl.
!!! Why didn’t I think of that. I just used my hands to pour it in my mouth.
@@TheAwsomeKilaShow not a bad idea. No need for a long straw. I like it.
😂this is the best thread
😂

and this is how you don't do it
I scoop the water with my hand
Just vacuum the water with a wet vacuum
I would recommend an aquarium pump because they are cheaper to throw away. I like my vacuum.

Nice video! But what's the point of replacing the wax ring if it's not damaged?

What the 🦆 you don’t even show the replacement of the wax ring.
Attach the wax ring to the bottom of the toilet not on the flange of the floor
I have been watching videos they suggest you actually do both sometimes double wax rings
What’s the point of making a how to video when the part I came for was two seconds long
So we don’t need to caulk around bottom of toilet?
That’s what im saying
Using liquilock to solve the water-in-bowl issue is ideal. Watxhing you use a sponge to remove the water is...weird lol
Nah that black toilet is bad ass 👍🏾🔥
Use a turkey baster to get the water out
This guy must be a congressman with that intelligence
What the heck was he doing? I have no idea.
Wet dry vac
Get a packet of the liquid lock to turn remaining water into gel
I used a tea spoon for the tank water
How would you known if the wax ring needed to be changed?
if you see water coming out from the bottom or floorboard underneath or just replace the toilets every 10 years. so they look good.
@@ssap3717replace the toilets every 10 years or the wax rings? Two toilets in my house are like 70 years old
@@Cunningcreepershitttt,replace replace,replace
@@Cunningcreeperold toilets like most everything were made better 70 years ago.
I never saw a black toilet before
Wow a black toilet. That thing must be old.
????🤤
