Great review Claudia. I've purchased this system twice (mainly because I wanted consistency of use, and international shipping is taking longer so you have to re-order earlier). My thoughts: * Overpriced for what it is * Same price for both the hydrating serum and the growth factor serum, makes one suspicious as quality growth factors are $$$. * As you noted, similar infusion vials can be purchased much cheaper online and then you can find a suitable serum to DIY * The needles/dispenser is not an even release for me. I have to wait a long time after letting it sit upside down and then stamp it on my hand several times to get anything flowing. Then I'm unsure of whether it's really getting into the skin evenly. * My package never arrived in a nice box like yours haha. Just bubble wrap with contents all separated. * Skin does look better in the days after, but that's typical with other forms of needling also
Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with this system. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed as well and that it did not even come in a nice box :(. xx
I purchased this early this month. I used it last night. Got mild erethema. No pain. No bad reactions or sensitivity to the serum. My skin feels smooth today. Hoping to see improvements to my texture and fine lines over the next few days. I did opt for the 3 month supply only because the price is way cheaper than doing an in office treament.
I used to spend thousands for the most expensive cosmetics till I educate myself all these cosmetics are full of hormone disruptors. Thanks for your videos you look very beautifull.
This is such a happy thing for me to discover your video on this topic as I've just uploaded my review on this! They also sent it to me and I tried it 3 times and did a video.❤😊😊
Kudos to you Claudia. I’ve listened to the two serums rave about Cure and I too for sure thought it was so gimmicky. I for sure would never use it on my face, neck and chest. I was doing micro dermarolling, I don’t know why I stopped, but Iam going to go and watch your tutorials and start using a stamp. Especially along my jowls and sides of my mouth. Thank you so much for explaining in depth everything one needs and should know about this product. I am so glad you didn’t have any bad reactions. Prayers your voice gets 💯 % better, I didn’t even notice that it anything was wrong. Thank you always Claudia. Oh, I did watch you and Tamara as you walked her thru medical grade needling. Great video
Hi Karla, I am glad you enjoyed this. I am actually very surprised by derms advertising this. Glad to hear the video with Tamara was helpful as well. And if you start back up and have any questions, please never hesitate to aks xx
Hello beautiful … Thank you for this! I always worry about systems like these. Just like you stated - medical needling should only be done about once a month. And truthfully „inflammation“ will produce a temporary ‚plumping‘ of the skin, but will create invisible damage. I have seen too many young influencers that think more is better and may ultimately be damaging their skin in the long run. I agree with you also about needling preservatives into our skin. I think I will definitely pass on this. … Blessings 🤗
I think that one trick you must use with items like this is to turn your face in such a way as to where the needles are facing downward. That way, you have gravity to feed the serum into face. I’m not finished with the video yet, so you probably are going to do that. If I tried it, I would probably lay on my back to do it, just to be sure the serum came out. But that might not work either. 😊
Hi, I did actually get the serum out, but it sat on my skin, just like if I had applied it and used any other device. But you are right, I did see someone else suggesting to tilt the head for the serum to come out x
I was reading the feedback a similar system on Facebook and saw at least 2 people saying they got cold sores from it 😱. Puts me right off these systems
I used the system a few days ago. As I started stamping I also didn’t see any serum coming out at the end I just used the left overs and applied it all over my face. Thank you for the informative review! I will take a look at your suggested serums. Your video was exactly what I needed! Oh btw you are so beautiful even without makeup!
I appreciate this review so much! It looks great for beginners or if you are traveling maybe? But I think starting with a pen would be a better place for me to start.
I agree with everything you said about the system. I would say that this particular device and serum would be great for someone either just starting out or someone who just wants to get right into the technique as opposed to needing to find your device, get your serums, etcetera. Not that that is a hard thing to do but for some, having everything together in one place is a positive. I also think that just because one sees the serum sitting on the skin does not mean that the hollow core didn't also distribute the serum into the dermis. It is very possible that once the "hole" is full of serum, the remainder overflows onto the skin. I do wish that the serum contained a few more actives. Thank you for the wonderful video and you are looking amazing! So beautiful. Deborah
Hi Claudia. Thank you for doing this video. I have been curious about micro infusion systems. You actually introduced me to Microneedling many years ago when you did a TH-cam video on the Derminator. I purchased it and loved it. I used it until the company introduced the Derminator 2. I still use it and love it. I felt it was becoming a sort of dinosaur so I purchased the Dr Pen M8. I opened the box, but I’ve never used my Dr. Pen! lol! Anyway, I am a big fan of Microneedling and I think I will be sticking to it for now. I hope you’re having a wonderful day.
Hi Liz, I am glad this was helpful and I am happy to hear you are loving micorneedling as well. I would say stick with the device that works well for you. Newer is not always better and we need to use what we feel comfortable with xx
So funny. I was looking at that very product last night and here you are doing a video on it. I shied away from it before looking at the ingredients because I just didn't think it was worth it. And I suspected it was a bit of a gimmick too. Thanks for your honest opinion Claudia. Much appreciated.
I've been wanting to add microneedling back into my routine. I've been considering Qure. I'm not sure about the ingredients for sensitive skin, so excited to hear your thoughts and how you find it vs your usual Dr. Pen stamping routine. I was also wondering about the needle depth💜 I have completely stopped rolling. Thanks for your review. PS. Calecim finally changed their packaging! 🙌
I have the same problem with mine, that the serum doesn’t come out easily and sits on top of the skin. Therefore, I have been putting the serum on first and then using the stamping device. I’ll use it up until it’s gone, but I will not re-purchase.
Claudia, thank you for all you do to help us to learn about these products that are targeting women. It’s all so expensive, and sadly, it’s impossible to really know if any of them are effective unless you try it. Which means an endless big budget and a store room full of gadgets and potions that do not work. Thanks again Beloved Claudia 😊
Hi, thank you for your thoughtful comment. I am glad this was helpful. I like how you said these products target women. You are right, and most of us, myself included are often driven by insecurity and clever marketing to spend our hard earned money on products that do nothing. xx
Thank you so much for yet another fantastic video! I hope you are feeling great and enjoying life ❤ I know your husband will have to work abroad and I think of you very often and try to send you positive vibes. Take care dearest Claudia 🙏🏻
This was such a good video, & I'm glad to hear that you're so much better. I have been on the fence for a long time regarding the Qure micro infusion & I too thought this to be a gimmick & costly too, not mention the serum that they are using. Thank you so much for this money saver & face saver video. I do like the headband though!!!
@@claudiaglows The sound & clarity was 100% better. I know that you speak softly, but the sound clarity was distorted before. Whatever it was, you fixed it & I thank you!!!!!
OMG, the ingredients are not suitable for 0.5mm micro-needling at all! Insane. There are several ingredients in it that can cause granulomas. How reckless and irresponsible from the producer. This is exactly why I would never needle anything else than AnteAge solutions into my skin.
I was thinking of purchasing the hydrapen myself do you find it allows product to absorb better and also did you notice a difference with the hydrapen compared to another pen
Hi Gorgeous Claudia, I hope you're feeling so much better. This was interesting and thank you for breaking it down and your thoughts. Your skin always looks so good and your lashes, wow. What lash serum are you using....I remember hearing that you use one. Lots of Love, xo P.S. still plugging along with home improvements. I need a vacation soon.
Hi beautiful, thank you for your kind comment. I am using the Reviv lash and brow serum. It is prostaglandin free but really works Glad to hear you are having fun with your home improvements. My husband and I are enjoying Norfolk together.. Lots of love xx
That was interesting Beautiful Claudia . I’m glad you were completely honest about the vehicle I wonder if the company saw it 🥴 . How many days did you wait to use your actives ? I have been enjoying ginambers aqua pen and it is similar to the one you demonstrated . I use either .25 .50 or 1.0 sizes . Glad you’re feeling better . What state are you in the now ? Hope all is well ❌⭕️
Hi gorgeous, glad you enjoyed this. I waited a couple of days, just like with regular medical needling. I need to take a look at the gin amber pen, good to know you are liking it. We are currently in Norfolk, Virgina. I have 8 more weeks with my husband before he has to take off :( Hope you are well, sending you a big hug xx
Thanks Claudia! On the luxliplab products you linked for medical microneedling, do you use just one of the products in a single session or do you combine them? Do you put these on the skin and then microneedle it in? Do you then follow with the recovery serum? Sorry for all of the questions!
Hi Meghan, please never apologize for asking questions. I use one at a time and there is always enough in them for the neck and chest as well. Usually there is enough for after as well, which is what I will use once I am done.A few hours later, I have started to use the Alastin skin nectar, which is a beautiful after treatment product. I hope this helps xx
Thank you Claudia for your honest review. I am a huge fan of Dr Pen and the stamp technique that you do is wonderful for my skin as well ❣️ I would like to get your advice in how I can apply the numb cream before microneedling. I wanto to go to 0.75 mm but my skin is super sensitive. Should I apply the numb cream 30min , wash my face totally to remove all numb cream and afterwards, start the microneedling? I did twice the 0.5 mm and would like to go deeper the next time. Thank you for all your help. You are the best influencer about microneedling ❤❤❤
Hi, thank you for being here. So what I would do is wash my skin well, and then apply numbing cream. Wait about 30 minutes, wipe it off and then wash your skin again to make sure the numbing cream is completely gone. You will have to move somewhat fast, as the numbing effect wears off somewhat quickly, but hopefully this will work. Please keep me posted x
Thank you Claudia:-)I was asking you about using human stem cells with a derma stamp but more precisely,it would be the micro infusion system as you have here:-)I have ordered it but haven't received it yet.I have human stem cells also but am sure I have seen you using stem cells in another video?I have much going on @ the moment so haven't been able to keep up.For that I apologize:-)Kind reguards🙂
If you don’t go deep, just cosmetic depth, you don’t need to worry too much and the stem cells should be fine But u would not use them For deeper needling unless the specify that they can be used for that
Thank you so much for yet another great and informative video. We appreciate you! Could you please tell me the name of the white stamp you showed in the video and where you purchased it? And how many times can you reuse it?
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment. Yes, of course. I got it right here drpen-usa.com/search?type=product&q=stamp and if you want you can use my code which is CLAUDIA10 to get 10% off. They also have the stamp on Amazon, if that is easier for you x
I also found it so hard to get the tops off those little vials. I've thought about getting Calecim serum, but if it comes in those same type of vials I think I'll wait until they change it. I've broken enough nails and had enough stress trying not to cut myself with a knife trying to get those caps off. I also didn't think the serum was coming out at any depth and just sitting on my skin, plus hard to get it to come out at all depending on the position relative to gravity. I have Dr. Pen and also a stamp like the one you showed and think I like the stamp best. I just soak it in alcohol for about 15 mins then shake and let air dry for a bit before using each time. I may need to replace it ever 3-4 uses, but it's so cheap and easy to use that I don't mind.
Thanks Claudia, Ivan Galvani (aeducator) appears to be dubinking everything: hyaluronic acid, growth factors, micro current, red light therapy, retinols etc - I’m sensing the only safe compound to use will be his product 😂
Thank you for reviewing Claudia! I like using Anteage microneedling serum using a stamp at .5mm depth. I need to remember to do it more often. Off topic, do you have any tricks for camouflaging grey hairs? My hair is a similar color to yours-I am 51 and just started getting a few grey hairs this past year. Luckily they blend easier into blonde hair than darker hair!
Hi Martha, thank you for being here and for sharing what works well for you when it comes to microneedling. As far as grey hairs, unfortunately I do not have any tricks. I have a few as well, but as you said, they blend in easier with our hair color. I do however plug the ones that stick up like an antenna :) x
The needles won’t be solid gold so they won’t be soft. Also I actually react badly to stainless steel earring posts but can use gold/white gold, so for some it may be better to have gold.
What are a few of your favorite serums to use. I'm 47 have started to get some lines near the corners of my mouth . Frown lines I think. What do you recommend. Also I hope you are doing well. I know you have been quite sad about your husband having to go away. I've been thinking of you. ❤
Hi Lisa, thank you for your kind comment. Luckily my husband and I are still together for 2 more months. He is leaving in June though :( I actually linked a few of my favorite micorneedling serums below this video, please let me know if you can not find them. Something else you can use is just high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Not quite the same, but just microneedling alone will help with collagen, the serums are just a bonus x
Hello from Toronto! I love your videos and your voice is so soothing. I tend to watch them while doing my own skincare. I watched previous microneedling videos but I still have a question. I use the same derma stamper you show in this video. I use it a 0.5. What skincare do you do the next morning (including using sunscreen), when do you go back to regular active products ? Thanks so much
Hi, thank you for your thoughtful comment, I am really happy you are here. Ideally the next day only high molecular HA or products used for microneedling or post procedure and mineral spf. You want to wait at least 2-3 days, possibly longer depending on how your skin reacts, to go back to your regular skincare. I am loving the Alastin skin nectar as an after treatment, but there are cheaper ones available. x
Thank you, Claudia. I really appreciate your thorough and honest reviews! ❤ Re microneedling would you discontinue your tretinoin before & after nano and cosmetic needling too, and for how long of yes? Viele Grüße aus dem verschneiten Monschau 🥶 ❤
Hi Lili, thank you for your kind comment. Personally I do not stop my tretinoin before any form of microneedling. But I will not use it for several days after medical needling. Ganz liebe Grüsse xx
What a great thorough video! I’m looking to purchase my first micro needling product. Leaning towards the Dr. Pen. Wanted to see if there would be one serum you would suggest I start with. I’m 52, want to firm up the skin, help hyperpigmentation and melasma, increase collagen. Is there one in particular that isn’t too pricy you think I should start with. I looked at the links, but still unsure how to narrow it down. TIA! ❤
Hi Michelle, I am glad this was helpful. You know, it is so hard to narrow it down, as there are so many good serums. I would say though, if you are just starting out, you might just want to start with some high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Cos da Baha has a very affordable one and you can get it on amazon. Once you are more comfortable with needling you can always add some fancy serums and play around with different ones Please keep me posted on how your first few sessions go and I am here if I can help with anything x
New Spanich subcriber , finely someone who used correctly Dr pen. It is impossible to find safe and reasonably prices ( non-topical) dermal incuction serum in Spain, your wonderfull skin is 30 years old, how I wuld like your understand your language ...Very very thanks ❤
Hi Barbara, personally I have tried the A6S, the M8 and the M8S. The M8S is one of the newer ones and has upgraded cartridges, but really all the ones I have are good and you can not go wrong with any of them. I do talk about them a bit more in detail in this video, th-cam.com/video/t6GIEGPSdfU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=n1rNtE7fjr0Dazxf. Hope this helps x
Hi Claudia. Thanks for the review. One of my favorite TH-cam plastic surgeons was advertising this tool, but like you, I thought it was too expensive. Take care!
Thanks Claudia, appreciate your sharing your findings and experience around different skincare treatments! I saw another video where you interviewed a Calecim rep about their products. Would you recommend the use of the Calecim professional serum with derma stamp?
Hi Cynthia, thank you for your kind words. The Calecim serum can def. be used for microneedling, in fact it often is in office. But to be honest, while I love their hair serum, the professional serum is not one of my favorites. I do not like the smell and have not really noticed a difference from using it. That being said, I have friends who use it with microneedling and love it x
I have used it and agree that it is overpriced. The point with the hollowed needles is that the serum will go into the skin, but to be honest, I’m not sure if that is actually happening since it would need quite much pressure from outside to push in. But what I can see it is rather just opening the channels to let the fluid run through.
Hi Anna, thank you for being here. I agree, that is the point of the needles, in theory. But it does not really seem to work as most of the serum was just sitting on my skin x
I wonder why they don’t just make the ampules of serum with tops you can screw and new needle device instead of decanting it. Unless it’s so you can use half without contamination I guess
I had the same problem with serum not coming out. I had to tip some on my fingers, coat my face, then try again. Not fun stamping without the bouncy serum to protect your face! I won't be buying Qure again. Would love to find a similar stamping system that is cheaper, with one time stampers but I'd just use my own HA peptide serum
I’m going to be 80 this year. Been dermarolling and now stamping for a very long time. Love needling for collagen and texture but not into that little thing. Even my stamp has a handle to grab
I agree Claudia, a gimmicky device, indeed. And too pricey. It took forever for me to get the serum to come out too. I did use a numbing cream near my mouth, though. Too ouchie for me.
I’m stuck , so I’m not suppose just screw the needle onto the already filled bottle? I see you transferring to another bottle . I didn’t get in my kit .
Hi Claudia, I really appreciate your honest reviews. I recently purchased Dermapen A10, I have never done microneedling and I'm a little scared of the pain and of doing something wrong. Before using Dermapen do you wash your face only with cleanser or do you use something to disinfect the surface of your face? Thank you🙏
Hi, thank you for being here and for your kind words. Yes, you always want to wash your skin very well before. I double cleanse and some even like to use alcohol to wipe down their face, but personally I just double cleanse well. x
Hi Barbara, maybe. But the serum actually came out, it was just sitting on my skin, rather than (as they claim) being infused into the skin through the hollow needles x
Great video. Thanks for sharing your experience!! Penn Smith skincare had shared a stamp off Amazon that she felt was good and suggested using Drmtlgy's needless serum in it. 😊
Hi Susan, I just took a look at it and it looks very similar to this system. But it has fragrance and Methylparapen, two ingredients I am not crazy about and to in my opinion should not be needled into the skin xx
Thanks for the honest review Claudia. ❤You have a beautiful skin. I Enjoy your videos. I was thinking about Dr. Pen or Qure. Going with Dr. Pen. Your code is not working at checkout for Dr.Pen. Also was wondering where to buy Dr. Pen, above link offers lifetime warranty for M8 and amazon is selling 8SM cheaper not sure why. What serums do you recommend after microneedling at lower budget?
Hi Pam, thank you for your kind comment. This is the site use drpen-usa.com/ and the code CLAUDIA10 should work. Please let me know if it does not. As far as serums, you could just use high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. You wont get peptides or growth factors, but needling alone will help with collagen production. If you cosmetic needle, you can use just about any serum, as long as it does not contain any AHA's or BHA's i
@@claudiaglows thank you for your feedback..appreciate you🙏. The code is not working getting this message CLAUDIA10 couldn't be used with your existing discounts.
This is a copy of the aqua gold facial. I had this done once and the way the woman stabbed the device into my skin in a rush was horrendous. She just threw it on now i spent 160gbp on this and it was a five minute job when i checked the aquagold videos they was gently apply the serum didnt appear to be on the surface like mine did. After that incident i never used her again i feel like i got ripped off there was no massaging the product in or anything
i just did aquagold for the first time and a few red flags. it’s usually $1k at this medspa and they were offering a new client deal of $400 (other places in my area are around $450-600). once i got there, i asked for dermal filler in my serum and they said next time - as if the intro rate i paid for doesn’t include everything. (though i’ve heard mixed things and possible granulomas forming from injecting filler). they also didn’t tell me the exact dose of botox which i really needed since my concerns were oily skin + large pores. the doctor started stamping one whole side and no liquid came out and then it came rushing out the other side. i’ve seen people use Qure which is the same and you have to prime the spring. of course we did multiple passes but one side of my face had better results than the other. overall i liked the results of aquagold but i also bought Qure and Dr Pen want to try at home first. A little confusing though because they say you can only do aquagold every 4-6 weeks however qure is done every 2 weeks… despite both being gold nano needles around 0.5mm.
Have you ever used the Bruun SC control Stem Cell Serum Ampoule with microneedling? My daughter has acne scars and we started microneedling. Trying to get the best serum for her. Thank you 🙏🏼
Hi! I really appreciate your videos and review. I’m considering a doctor pen, however, it seems as though the needles only go to .25 mm in depth. Whereas the system you used went to .5 for deeper penetration. Can you speak to that at all and do they have it where you can adjust the doctor pan for a deeper penetration? Thanks in advance.!
Hi MaryAnn, thank you for your kind words. So the cartridges all have the same needle length, but the depth of penetration is determined by how deep you said it on the pen. It can go anywhere from .25 mm to 2.5 mm. I hope that helps
Claudia thank you for this video.. I bought the Dr.Pen M8 after asking for your advice.. I have one question for you I am using the pen every other week 0.75 around the eye.I go to 0.25.. should I only be using the Dr. pen once a month???
Hi, thank you for being here. Yes, at 0.75, you are medical microneedling and the skin needs more time to recover. So I personally would not go more frequently than ever 4-6 weeks x
Personally, I like a stamping technique, but I do think if a roller is used correctly one can get good results. But it needs to be used correctly. In my opinion meaning not going back-and-forth.
Reviews of microneedling are mixed. Some say it caused permanent marks on their skin and enlarged their pores. My new pen arrives Monday and I’m nervous now. Any tips?
Hi Rebeca, I think that if sine incorrectly, it could cause damage. I would suggest to stamp. I have several videos showing how I stamp, hopefully they will be helpful
While I am a big fan of micro needling, it will not give you the same results as Botox Micronedling can improve skin tone and texture, vs Botox temporarily paralyses muscles
Hi, I have needled with the Calecim serum, but to be honest it is not one of my favorites. I do love their Hair serum and the MAC. One problem I have with the serum is the smell :( x
Claudia, since entering menopause I have noticed quite some fat loss under my eye and also loose skin above the eye. Could I apply microneedling to this area to help build up collagen? Thanks for your videos!
Hi Kristen, yes you can. But very carefully as the skin is so thin there. I show in several videos how I personally microneedle under the eyes and hopefully you can take a look at those. But in a nutshell, I stay shallow, 0.25 mm and try not to go past the orbital bone x
I am confused. Qure is a manual stamping product. Just press and move. Drpenn has to be charged. Charged to do what? I thought it was a atamp product. As you can tell I am new to this but am currently using the Qure system. Based on the other comments should i not use the Qure aerums and find others?
I would say if you’d like the system, continue to use it. I prefer all the methods. I have several videos showing how I use the Dr pen. You might find helpful if you’re curious about it.
Thank you for giving an honest review and not sugar coating your opinions.😊
You are very welcome. Thank you for being here

Great review Claudia. I've purchased this system twice (mainly because I wanted consistency of use, and international shipping is taking longer so you have to re-order earlier). My thoughts:

Microneedling is definitely not for idiots, but it is a free country :)

Newer is not always better and we need to use what we feel comfortable with

That’s such a bummer, especially for the price

Claudia, thank you for all you do to help us to learn about these products that are targeting women. It’s all so expensive, and sadly, it’s impossible to really know if any of them are effective unless you try it. Which means an endless big budget and a store room full of gadgets and potions that do not work. Thanks again Beloved Claudia 😊

OMG, the ingredients are not suitable for 0.5mm micro-needling at all! Insane. There are several ingredients in it that can cause granulomas. How reckless and irresponsible from the producer. This is exactly why I would never needle anything else than AnteAge solutions into my skin.

Please keep me posted

I do however plug the ones that stick up like an antenna :)

I use the same derma stamper you show in this video. I use it a 0.5. What skincare do you do the next morning (including using sunscreen), when do you go back to regular active products ? Hi, thank you for your thoughtful comment, I am really happy you are here.
Ideally the next day only high molecular HA or products used for microneedling or post procedure and mineral spf.
You want to wait at least 2-3 days, possibly longer depending on how your skin reacts, to go back to your regular skincare.
I am loving the Alastin skin nectar as an after treatment, but there are cheaper ones available.

Once you are more comfortable with needling you can always add some fancy serums and play around with different ones
Please keep me posted on how your first few sessions go and I am here if I can help with anything

But it does not really seem to work as most of the serum was just sitting on my skin

i just did aquagold for the first time and a few red flags. it’s usually $1k at this medspa and they were offering a new client deal of $400 (other places in my area are around $450-600).
once i got there, i asked for dermal filler in my serum and they said next time - as if the intro rate i paid for doesn’t include everything.

So I personally would not go more frequently than ever 4-6 weeks
x
What is your thoughts on the difference between the stamper vs. rollers? Thanks
Personally, I like a stamping technique, but I do think if a roller is used correctly one can get good results. But it needs to be used correctly. In my opinion meaning not going back-and-forth.
Thanks for your very good video. I would like to find another company that offers a similar system but with a 0.5 mm in depth needles. Anyone????
Reviews of microneedling are mixed. Some say it caused permanent marks on their skin and enlarged their pores. My new pen arrives Monday and I’m nervous now. Any tips?
Hi Rebeca, I think that if sine incorrectly, it could cause damage. I would suggest to stamp. I have several videos showing how I stamp, hopefully they will be helpful
I’m considering getting Botox but want your opinion on whether or not stamping or something else would give me similar results. Thanks
While I am a big fan of micro needling, it will not give you the same results as Botox
Micronedling can improve skin tone and texture, vs Botox temporarily paralyses muscles
