Hasn't Harry's dad been hit below the belt enough. Why take away one of best scenes (yes I know it was future Harry not James who cast the patronous it was still a Prongs moment)

Two things I don’t understand: One - If Harry had his glasses on when he was in the water, why did he pick them up and put them on to see who rescued him? Two - How did Snape get the sword under the ice, and how did he do it without leaving a hole for Harry to dive into? Harry had to break the ice himself to get in
Is it just me or is Ron and Harry are the ones broke there wands exept Harry it was an accident but there the one have broken wand and hermione well She takes care of her wand
Snape made 2 patronus, one in front of Dumbledore to show him that his is similar to Lily’s. The 2nd one is here, he was standing behind the trees so that Harry doesn’t know that he’s a double agent! (Not yet anyway), he wanted to actually help Harry find the sword because he was the one who hid it
But Snape also sent his patronus instead of himself in case Voldemort happened to be connected to Harry's mind at this time he wouldn't have seen Snape if Harry saw him, he would have just seen the doe, which I doubt Voldemort knew was Snape's patronus (or that he even could cast one since none of the death eaters but him could.)
I don't understand.. Snape and Dumbledore talked about Harry and Lilly and then Snape put his Patronas to guide harry the Sword in the lake in Deathly hollows. But Dumbledore is already dead in half blood prince.. so how could they've talked about lilly and Severus with his patronas then, guided harry to the sword that was happening in the final chapter after Dumbledore died? Looking at the clothes Harry was wearing it was the same Grey sweater, that was in Snapes memory when he guided harry with his patronas and when harry wanted to dive for the sword moment he whore the Grey sweater also?? 🤔
Snape showing Dumbledore his Patronus and Snape guiding Harry with his Patronus are two different moments. The first one happens before Dumbledore dies, as you mentioned. The second one happens after Snape and Dumbledore's portrait come up with a plan to protect Gryffindor's sword and deliver it to Harry. They were put together in the memories sequence to make the audience understand that Snape was the one helping Harry.
My understanding is that the sword is enchanted in such a way that to get it you have to do so in a way that demonstrates bravery and determination, which diving into freezing water to retrieve it would certainly indicate. His first move was to try and summon it to him, but that didn't work, so I think he decided it wouldn't allow him to get it in any other way than by going down himself to retrieve it.
The hole didn't get bigger, he just misplaced the water by jumping it, so it spread on top of the ice, washing away the powdery snow. This gives the illusion of the hole becoming wider. At 3:08 the hole in the ice is the same size.
So is this patronus sent by Snape? Or why did it just conjure in the middle of the forest? I guess Snape knew where he was all along?... so many questions..
if you read the book you know that snape is there, conjuring the patronus while remaining hidden. He found out where they were from the portrait of phineas nigellus in dumbledore's office. Phineas told him they were in the forest of dean because he overheard hermione say it. Snape apparates close by and uses his patronus to guide harry to the sword, which he put in the lake on dumbledore’s orders

I have a few questions. How did the locket suddenly strangle harry when it was in the water. That's a random trigger. Why did Ron have to destroy the locket, just because he saved Harry and got the locket. And in real life, can a person actually handle going into frozen water (the same amount of time Harry would've had, had it not been the strangling locket), much skin in indescribably cold water?
-the locket was trying to get away from the sword of Gryffindor because it recognized it as a threat. Remember the hocruxes are sentient as shown by Riddle's diary. Harry probably would've taken it off if he had known that was what it was going to do but he didn't. -Ron needed to be the one to do it for his own clarity. It's kinda like facing your fears. The locket affected Ron more than Hermione and Harry a) He had recently been splinched and anyone who's ever broken bone has a fraction of an idea of the pain Ron was enduring as they trekking b) Ron is generally an insecure guy. It stems from him coming from a poor family and being the most ignored of the Weasley kids. He's always gotten bullied by the likes of Malfoy because of it. Anyway Ron by this point of the story is fully in love with Hermione and he thinks she's into Harry and assuming you've read the Goblet of Fire one of Ron's suppressed insecurities is Harry's fame. Anyway my point was the Hocrux made him lash out at his friends and abandon his best friend and the woman he loves. He needed to face and overcome it if he was ever going to move on. It wasn't a requirement that it must be Ron who does it but Harry was wise in forcing Ron to be the one who does it. -Yes people can actually survive going into cold water but it obviously depends on the person and the period. Naturally Harry being a wizard means he could easily warm himself by creating a fire and it a good thing to because otherwise he would surely have died if he had gotten out of that water, put on his clothes and went frolicking. On a side note the one who is at greater risk is Ron because he jumped in with all his clothes. (He didn't have a choice Harry was drowning but still). If it wasn't for the fact like I said they are wizards so there's probably a spell that could dry them what Ron did was practically suicide. First of all the clothes would weigh him down if they got wet making it harder for him to swim much less carrying a person and so he is at greater risk of drowning. But even if he got out with his clothes being wet a normal person is almost guaranteed to freeze to death at that temperature.
@@junior523 Makes enough sense, most of that. Except for one thing. So Ron didn't HAVE to do it? That was Harry's decision, for the greater good, both destroying the Horcrux and helping Ron conquer his fears? I don't think Harry knew the locket would provide all those awful illusions. Speaking of which, I think it would've been smarter of the locket's Voldemort if it had made some good scenes for Ron, like him and Hermione and whatnot. After all, we don't personally want to destroy what we like, which is why anyone would decide NOT to destroy the mirror of Erised
In this scene, Harry is behaving immaturely, akin to a 5-year-old, and not considering Hermione. He decides to leave the tent without informing Hermione and jumps into a freezing cold lake in the middle of the forest, at night. Even without wearing the Horcrux, he could die from the cold. Moreover, he took Hermione's wand with him. If he had died, Hermione would have found him dead and maybe would not have been able to find her wand to protect herself or to escape. She would likely have been in danger from Death Eaters or other threats. Ok Hermione loves him so much so she went with him no matter what but that doesn't mean that he has to put her life in danger when is not necessary.
In the book, it's explained. They took it when they were staying at Grimmauld place so Phineas wouldn't tell Snape (through his portrait in headmaster's office) where the trio was.
Because only a true Gryffindor could have gotten the sword since the sword is a Gryffindor relic. The quality that defines a Gryffindor is bravery. So, to get the sword, one has to be willing to brave the freezing water to retrieve it. If Accio worked, then anyone could have gotten the sword too easily.
To conjure a Patronus, you have to have a truly happy memory. Considering how sad Snape's life was, I imagine that memory would have been time he spent with Lily. I always imagine them maybe dancing together at the Yule Ball :)

@@nam.t5892 good one
I dont get this scene, this is the part when albus dumbledore is already dead....
What’s Dumbledore got to do with this scene?
That was Snape’s patronus not Dumbledore
Snape made 2 patronus, one in front of Dumbledore to show him that his is similar to Lily’s. The 2nd one is here, he was standing behind the trees so that Harry doesn’t know that he’s a double agent! (Not yet anyway), he wanted to actually help Harry find the sword because he was the one who hid it
Watch the movie :)
Ron saved his ass for sure
So that took a brief hour to come back after you left and great scene. When is it on again?
Why did he do that
That was snape silver doe the whole time 😢
I don't understand..
Maybe the Patronus got lost
In snapes memories, he is talking with dumbledore, but, he is not death at the moment of this scene? Help me
Uh....... he cant conjure a stick with a hook on it?
My understanding is that the sword is enchanted in such a way that to get it you have to do so in a way that demonstrates bravery and determination, which diving into freezing water to retrieve it would certainly indicate. His first move was to try and summon it to him, but that didn't work, so I think he decided it wouldn't allow him to get it in any other way than by going down himself to retrieve it.

When Harry got into the water, the hole got bigger. Shouldn't Hermione's wand fall in the pool?
Angie Garza
He took the wand and went aside to take off his clothes. Left the wand there obviously.
The hole didn't get bigger, he just misplaced the water by jumping it, so it spread on top of the ice, washing away the powdery snow. This gives the illusion of the hole becoming wider. At 3:08 the hole in the ice is the same size.

Why is Potter so muscular 😭😭😭

The locket affected Ron more than Hermione and Harry
a) He had recently been splinched and anyone who's ever broken bone has a fraction of an idea of the pain Ron was enduring as they trekking
b) Ron is generally an insecure guy.

Maybe he did tell her but just not on screen

Why The portrait of Phineas Nigellus was in hermione's bag ?
It was to track the trio.
In the book, it's explained.
They took it when they were staying at Grimmauld place so Phineas wouldn't tell Snape (through his portrait in headmaster's office) where the trio was.

Why couldn’t he use Accio?
Because only a true Gryffindor could have gotten the sword since the sword is a Gryffindor relic. The quality that defines a Gryffindor is bravery. So, to get the sword, one has to be willing to brave the freezing water to retrieve it. If Accio worked, then anyone could have gotten the sword too easily.
