UPDATE: The couple behind Bantam Bagels, the New York-based company that parlayed an appearance on “Shark Tank” into investment from entrepreneur Lori Greiner, has sold their business for $34 million. That is a $8.5m profit for Lori, off a $275k investment.

Just tried these at my Starbucks this morning and they were amazing!

I live for these bites. I'm one of the first cars in line at my Starbucks to get them because if you come any later than 10 o'clock they are completely sold out for that days sales. They are delicious!

Found these at the store, thought I'd give them a try. These things are DELICIOUS, so far I've had the egg and bacon ones(which are my favorite) then the pretzel cheddar and Dijon, and I have a sweet one in my freezer for when the "I need something sweet" craving pulls through. I will definitely be buying more! These are also super convenient for if you are driving but want a good breaky meal! Definitely would recommend

Starbucks stopped selling these they said a quality issue that is crazy over 7k stores. I wonder how the quality got worse..they tried a few stores like anything then grew to all the stores. There was no issue before they rolled them out nationally? I know they got acquired for alot shortly after so it worked out for them. Congrats to them.
I tried Bantam Bagels at Starbucks about two years ago. OMG, the Everything Bagel is so delicious! For some reason, they stopped carrying them at my local Starbucks. Ugh! First TB removes the Taco Salad and Mexican Pizza from their menu and now Starbucks stops carrying Bantams! Anyway, I had to track the bagels down somehow. Found them at my local Safeway and I usually grab the remaining boxes. Yes, I think they are THAT good! and apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so. For the ultimate Bantam Bagel experience at home, I thaw the box in the fridge overnight, then place them in the microwave for about a minute, then in my toaster oven to crisp. Yum!

The current bagels are much more refined than the ones presented during the Shark Tank gig. The pale, unfinished bagels shown certainly were not the 'best bagels in New York', or anywhere.

It seems like a lot of people on Shark tank get rich selling the public junk food: bantam bagels, wicked cupcakes, Tom and Chee...the list goes on and on
They've also invested in healthier food options like Jackson's Honest, Mush, Alyssa's Healthy Cookies, Nuts and More, and that high protein pancake mix.

I love bagels, but hated the mess of them. Yes, I am a sloppy eater. These bagel bites are so delicious and clean to eat. I can never get them at my local Starbucks, but they are worth the trip a few more minutes up the road. I am so glad that they are now available through other avenues.

they only cater to the wealthy. I just did a gig for their company in Westport, Trumbull and Darien CT. their white male employee elbowed me hard in my back twice, no accident, and the owners sister followed and bullied me all damn day, I got dumped...wonder why
I cannot tell you how absolutely BUMMED I am, that Bantam Bagels is out of business….The trouble began when they were acquired by Lancaster Foods. Lancaster TOTALLY mismanaged a brand, that they bought for the sole purpose of entering the frozen breakfast business. Now, look at what they have done, by diving head-first into a business that they were not ready for….

@@ral2585 Yeah, it was only 34 million, to Lancaster Foods. Considering the fact that they had grocery store space, as well as 9000 Starbucks locations selling their product, it doesn’t seem like much. They took what they could get, and ran with the loot.

I tried them, and they are terrible, 1/10 stars. They had a drop of stuffing, and almost no flavor, would not recommend. Also they take 5 minutes to toast, which isn't long, but it would take less than a minute to put cream cheese on a bagel.

As a baker myself, I was disappointed in this show. There's no way in this world that those things were voted best bagels in NY...no way. Bagels, like pizza, can almost be 100% appraised visually. Those crude bagels had no finish...none. They were pale, lifeless, without the crisp crust or rich brown finish that a great bagel has. You have to go to NY, Montreal or Houston(3 brothers bakery) for the best bagels...
Disgusting company name, average product. Enjoy while it lasts fellas.
