Let's do a little logic here.
Does anyone know which gas, (CO2 or water vapor) is more effective as a greenhouse gas?
The answer is water vapor. In fact, compared to water vapor, CO2 is harmless. I know that is not what is being crammed down our throats, but it is true.
So instead of reducing CO2 emmissions, what if we reduced water vapor in the atmosphere? The current efforts actually are increasing water vapor. Here is the basic, easy to understand science.
Plants thrive with higher concentrations of CO2, especially in arid reagons. Higher CO2 actually makes the planet greener, pushing back on advancing deserts. One reason for this relates to the plant's efforts to tale up the CO2 it needs to live. If the CO2 is abundant, the plant closes more of its pores, dramatically reducing water loss. As ambient CO2 is reduced, the plant opens more pores to sequester scarce CO2, losing its vital water and releasing it as vapor in the air increasing a much more powerful greenhouse gas.
Increased CO2 equals more hearty plants that can live in dry regions and reduces the more dangerous greenhouse gas. If you want to lower global temperatures, stop trying to limit CO2 emissions
