My son’s string came out of his favorite sweat pants and I have been sitting for about a half hour trying to figure this out. I’m glad I came across your video. I got it with the straw method. Thanks🙂
I have a huge hug for you. It is a simple way to keep my sweats. I was about to throw them out and buy more. I staple string to the straw (the same with a zip tie), and off I go. PS. The wife hates my old-school college gray sweats ('94)... I'm sure she'' 'll take the savings as she spoils our toddler granddaughters
Thank you for the tips ....I found something that worked for me but I would have never thought of it without watching your post ....so thank you .. these are my favorite sweatpants
I used a paperclip. Ran the clip through the fabric, bent the edges inside the clip and fed it through easily. Didnt take that long. Ridiculous trying to attach the cord to a chopstick or the zip tie.
Me: "I, surprisingly, can't think of a single way to get this stupid string back into these sweatpants." CIndy: "Here are six ways to do the thing you can't do at all." (Okay, granted, I have a tendency to look for the cleverest way to do something and, sometimes, that takes so long, I give up on doing it entirely.)

Best way is to use a metal hanger, unfold it, tie the string to the end and just push it threw.
So what do I do when I get the straw stuck in the pants
Uhm... Send in another straw after it? Like the old woman who swallowed a fly. LOL
You lock yourself in a mental hospital
Just got some chopsticks from eating Chinese yesterday. Right on time!

Weed Trimmer String. And tape the ends so ends don't bind!
