Thanks for putting on a show for my leg-mount gimbal camera! I got some great clips for my event recap video. Look forward to chasing you around again some time 🙂
@@mmcowan, I've never seen his setup in person but from what I hear I believe I'm mostly emulating his approach. I think he uses a much fancier 6k Blackmagic camera but I'm happy with my Sony APS-C mirrorless for now. I like the smaller form factor and lower weight of the smaller camera. I'll be taking it with me to Iceland this summer and hoping to get some sweet shots 🙂 I did notice our wings matched. I kept hearing the Qubik was a great stable camera platform and it doesn't disappoint. I suspect Tucker's excessive exuberance may have been he thought I was Ryan at first ;-)
@@DanToborowski , he also uses a gimbal remote in his hand so he doesn’t need to take his hand off his toggle. Which Iceland session? I’m going again, too (session 4).
@@mmcowan, I need to look into the gimbal remote. I try to use leg movements only with PTF mode for the smoothest transitions while recording but I use the joystick too for initially framing up different shot angles and that does require stowing a brake. I'm signed up for session 4 too, that's awesome! See you there! 🙂
I really liked the video. Looks so fun. In the US you're lucky to have that kind of weather often during the year too. Where I am in Scotland I can hear sometimes ultralights & seen some para-gliders too, but the days without wind & rain are the exception rather than the rule.
Tucker. That was a great evening of flying. There were so many coloured wings in the air. Love d it when you were doing stuff for the other cam. Keep it up.
Thanks, so relaxing to watch, I would be apprehensive flying with so many in the air, I sometimes drift into a meditative state and lose a bit of situational awareness, I’d have to be a bit more in-tune with so many flyers. What “Rules” apply?
I so love this sport! Where else can you get away with so many intentional midair collisions that really weren't all that risky. Now the low level speed flying, maybe it was the fisheye lense that made it look more intense than it was, but I don't think I've ever been brave enough to pull anything like that. And I started flying in 2006. Back in my day you young whipper snappers would have been considered wreckless!
You could look at it as "there is something better in the after-life", or" plunging to the ground at 80mph isn't the worst way to go", or "this is so foolishly risky". I'm a risk management major, working in a 10th floor office, for a #1 insurer for 20+ years. Take a guess how I feel. Haha, go Tucker, do what we can't, won't, or are too afraid to!
Tucker do you do the 100 hour service on the Moster?..change the oil seals etc?.. I ask because I'm doing it now but I feel that the oil seals are totally fine at 170 hours and I almost wish I hadn't bothered..same with the piston rings and roller etc. I understand changing the belt, the mounts the exhaust bush and all those parts that visibly wear but not so sure on other parts. If you do then a video on some engine maintenance would be cool..not instructive just a general chat whilst doing it kind of video
Go to his other channel, listed above, he has over a million subs on it! He puts out great content for beginner, medium, and excellent flyers. But is more safety oriented.
The 14m is very aggressive. I burn more fuel and it’s harder to fly with other pilots. My buddy Kevin was flying my 14 and I took the 16 to be more chill.
Just a Southwell wanna-be 😋 I apparently fly the same wing (yellow Niviuk Qubik) as Ryan used to and I've been experimenting with leg-mount gimbal video myself. I have an event recap video on my channel with all the sweet footage I captured.
It is called the "MoTown airport." It is South of Phoenix and just West of the town of Maricopa, AZ. It is owned by Mo Sheldon who is and has been a PPG instructor for at least 20 years. He was my instructor in 2005 to 2006. He's a great guy, and excellent pilot and instructor. Mo has held this fly in called "the flying circus" for at least 2 decades. Sorry that this is probably a lot more information than you asked for.
Dang Tucker. I’ve been watching all of your videos but have to say this one made me tighten up my asshole quick a bit of times. 😂 the riskiest biscuitiest video yet besides base jumping. 😬🙈 lol
Woooho BLIKSEM Tucker bro that was some seriously ridicules stomach turning moves, Not something I will ever try but fun and nerve wrecking to watch. You have some seriously big brass balls. And all that in such a con-jested airspace. I will poop my best pans. Look awesome thou.
Jy is 10 smarties kort van a vol box. That is a Afrikaans saying that very politely means you are freeken crazy bro. The straight up translation would mean. You are 10 smarties/skittles ( I guess in America it would be skittles a candy coated small round chocolate sweet)short of a full box. ha ha ha
Wow, a lot of wings all together, your neck must have been aching doing all the situational awareness!!! Awesome flight.
Acro is on point my dude. Best uncut so far, killin it

I love this kind of video!!! I can fly together watching videos like this!
Be careful you don't catch a cactus in the nuts. 🤕

Tucker saw that knee cam on Mr.yellow wing and went ham😂 saw the dudes pov of you flying on here too- looked awesome
Exactly. I understood the assignment and he got some sick footage.

Nice miss of the sahuaro at circa 3:46. Lots o' wings out there! Great flying afternoon/evening. Thank you for the vid!

sick flight
How did that guy not recognize you?
I take it that is just the mic audio breaking up and not the motor missing?
AHH SO TUCKER U WERE FLYING AT AZ FLYING CIRCUS.i can imagine theres times when u just want to be left alone . a curse at times.
Hah hah...the international gesture for "can I walk on your wing?" 🤣
You know!!
Somebody who paramotors and hasn't heard of you 😮
Does he live in a cave!
That fast low level stuff scared the sh.t our of me. Crazy!😳

What is the best top speed for a paraglider? Enjoy your videos from central Fl.
I've been able to get 53mph.
@@tuckergottuncut7180 wow, A friend of mine said that you are one of the top five in the world!!!
Don't get too low, them jackalope are known to be able to jump pretty high !
Hey Tucker, why are you flying Freeride and not Freeride 2?
The 14m is very aggressive. I burn more fuel and it’s harder to fly with other pilots. My buddy Kevin was flying my 14 and I took the 16 to be more chill.
Thank you for your answer. Good luck.
Is that Ryan Southwell at 7:29? LOL

@@DanToborowski love it!
Do your hands ever get numb?
Nope. Lower back pain is the main fatigue point for me. I can always stow my brakes and rest my arms.
@@tuckergottuncut7180 thanks
My hands go numb on every flight lol. I hope my new off grid throttle helps with that.
AIR PARTY!!!

If I wasn’t so old I’d love to try this, But I’ll stick to fixed wing!😊
Wow that had me 'Pucker'ed LOL

Looks like she was LITERALLY the wind beneath your wing.... LOL
Been flying a long time and doesn’t know Tucker….whatever!
Fella seemed kinda sloshed😂

Awesome. Lots of fun. BiBi got walked all over by everyone in this one. Filled in all the blanks from the IG posts.

Sounds like a deal.

one of my dreams is to try this
Hi, nice sights at 17min….
A deal would be like stopping for a snack-drink on a similar spot.
