They should've kept this scene in the movie. It really helps you feel why she wanted to avenge what happened to him. It makes you become more emotionally attached to the characters and their adversity.
A bad case of a good guy hanging with the someone who was dangerous. He clearly set him up when he gave him that haircut. But he ended up dying right after Stevie.
Yes, I knew that was the real reason why he pushed him to get that haircut. He knew the cops were looking for him, and he was low key envious of the possible college boy.
um no. what happened in the movie is that the cops confused Stevie with the wrong guy (Lorenzo).Lorenzo actually did something wrong. he robbed a bank, but the cops identified him as having an AP haircut symbol on the back of his head and Lorenzo pushed Stevie to get the same hair cut, and the cops shot Stevie thinking it was Lorenzo. It was a tragic mistake. Cops today just shoot any black person for no reason and it's wrong.
Good??? It's good that innocent black people are being constantly murdered by the freaking police?? What the heck is your deal? Do you like that this is happening today?
I know right? Cops killed Stevie over a champagne bottle. They didn't even bother to pat him down to see if he had a gun. They just assumed he had one. Man i feel sorry for stony first she lost her parents, then her brother, her 3 best friend, and her man. and now she in Mexico running from the cops for the rest of her life
I guess this was supposed to be a happy ending for Stoney. She gets to keep all of the money and she's seen in Mexico, driving a jeep, with the top down and a beautiful scenery for the background. However, to me, her ending seemed the saddest and definitely the loneliest. She lost everyone who ever meant anything to her and left the man that she loved and who loved and wanted to take care of her, for a life on the run, in a strange country, where she doesn't know anybody nor the language.
