@@BlueBirdBaby it actually comes up multiple times in a round. I usually play Strikeout and it's not uncommon to overheal 4 or 5 times in a round.
One time I was playing Dallas and bought his dmr. I got knocked during a gunfight and so did the other guy, so the chaac on our team finishes the kill, rezzes me half way, and then STOPS and lets me die so he could take my gun. What a power move.

I think the tunnel vision that happens is huge. I see teammates funnel down the same route/angle over and over in strikeout. We'd lose 5 to 10 tickets and theyll still keep doing it. I try to flank and put pressure else where but I end up in 1v2 and 1v3, where I have to play perfectly. After the first 2 rounds they usually figure it out, but its too late by then. The only answer I think is comms
Just play slower by a lil bit. This game is very defender heavy
Oh my God dude I can't stand it when I'm playing with friends and I'm sniping with phantom and I down someone and they go to cover and I know there's no one to revive them but my friends don't push even though I repeatedly tell them it's a clear push and I have cover fire. They always hesitate or refuse to and 90% of the time that guy ends up getting revived and ends up pushing my friends with his team mates.
This game is insanely defender heavy, although the down player doesnt seem to be being revived, you have to clear things like claymores, ballistic knife, you gotta be careful of barbwire, someone holding a head glitch peak, theres just too much stuff. If you can get 2 downs and you know that their saint or dahlia doesnt have their ability. You gotta rely on intel.
Yea but you either have to throw an explosive or get an angle on it to clear it, likely with someone holding a head glitch or with a trophy system near it
Picking up 2 of the same gun isnt something I always recommend

Being impatient is my biggest mistakes i do in this game. Has someone who played just Team Fortress 2 & Overwatch. I wanted to keep shooting and not think.

@@solowq_1817 I've only played 5 games too so far, but usually ranked/comp is always similar, you do 5-10 Placement Matches and get put into a Bracket as example Bronze to Platinum and each one has Tier 1-3.
After you're ranked you only play with people close to your rank, so yes, kind of.
huge mistakes I see new players make all the time. Not using the ping system.
Don't be too greedy. Downed players will slowly lose health. The longer they're down the less it takes to kill them. Rushing for the elimination isn't always the best move.
But the biggest one is swapping shoulders. As a 3rd person game utilising the peek is easy but by not swapping your shoulder you can expose your whole body rather than just half.
Best way to fix this is have it set to a button or key your finger is always on or u can reach quick.
Then start to swap shoulders all the time when approaching corners that change direction and get used to pressing that button a lot. I noticed that this helped me to start winning lots more gunfights.
saving your grenade for when enemies are clustered trying to revive a teammate is the best use of a grenade lmao
Finding good teammates who play for each other, is hard to find. Everyone is either out for your gun or your kill.

A counter for sound I use is bunny hop. Your character will look dumb and get no where fast but your foot steps are silenced

I just started playing Rogue, and I notice that comms between team mates seems to be too rare for this game. I had one match where none of my team mates communicated with me at all, despite my attempts to engage them. Then near the end of the match, one finally said something only to make a rude comment about me. Despite the fact that I made it clear at the beginning of the match that I was new and would like to communicate with my team. Sadly, this happens in a lot of Multiplayer online games.
I have one: going for a rez at the wrong time, not killtrading, and dying, and not going for a rez, not killtrading, and dying trying to 1v2 or 1v3 on my ping 🤦🏾♂️

#11: Over-thinking.
Just get in there and make plays. You don't die in real life if you die in the game; you're fine. Hiding in the corner bawling your eyes out while you rock back and forth in sheer terror doesn't do anything but get you killed and teabagged by 3 enemies after they wipe out your whole team, as a 4th guy plays a saxophone over your corpse.
If you shoot your opponent more than they shoot you, you win. That's it. At the end of the day, that's all there is in the game (and in any shooter). So, just get in there, make plays, and fire your gun.

I play the game really much, but my friends dont really play it as much ass me, so i always get in matches with bad players on my team that like dont res, just watch me get downed and then kill them and etc... so yea
Same bro smh played today never pushed with me always at the back and never rez me noobs.
New and advanced players like to take over the second half of demolition with the character you were playing the first half with. Which ends up forcing your hand to pick a character you're not ready to play that last round with. It can really destroy all chances of the team winning.
7:20 I think if ur using phantom(sniper) only upgrade the sniper twice and fully upgrade the pistol :)
Without realizing it, I’ve been watching your vids on RoCo all week. Noticed your channels icon pop up in the middle of the video and that’s what made me sub. Realized all the helpful vids I’ve been enjoying all had the “chop” icon lol. So GG in the logo thing, and GG on the vids in general man, def learning from them. Ikr rogue is easy to learn
QUICK TIP: if your in a close range fight with cover and your enemy has the upper hand, climb upon your cover, a lot of enemies do not expect this move and will allow an easy down
I play anvil quite frequently but when I don't play him I notice a lot of "front line" Characters not playing their role and "flanking" I guess this goes into the over extension page but it irks me when I'm the only one playing obj and the other 3 people are burning the lives

Newbie mistakes i can so far think of that ive done and seen others do:
1.When someone seems to be new and instead of giving instructions and tips or strategy angles, quite alot of more experienced players start to rage yell calling names and getting angry. Whilst they yell and are angry and start counting kills they often loose focus on their own team-gameplay, the new players loose motivation and dont learn shit while the half the team starts raging or rage quitting....... If a team plays bad as a whole and have bad team instincts and attitude is bad in general, the play doesnt seem to turn out so good. Toxic = bad, teamwork and helpfullness = good.
2. When players get downed they dont try to find cover, they instant kill themselves and waste lives for the whole team, when the goal is to keep alive. Then just keep on running into the full enemy team defense formation alone and dont let the others cover or help... I mean ive seen it ALOT and it is so frustrating. It doesnt cost much to stay up from time to time and listen in on the team and enemy and try to read a team strategy and use pings etc from time to time. Dont off yourself if you might have a teammate that can quick heal nearby, sometimes those extra seconds crawling on the ground can together put turn around alot of the gameplay since the enemy might be focused on downs or ignore you whilst a teammate revives. Ive revived while enemy ran past more times then i know XD
3. Peeps sometimes get the ''tunnel vision'' about the mini map and forget to check it, sometimes it reveals good enemy shooting positions while they shot on teammates for example.
4. Need to learn hidden corners etc. People just stand in the open shooting and not moving around can hold the team back.
5.Unsynchronized random map shootings that reveal the teams location in beginning of the match... Like whyyyyy...... Also running loudly everywhere its hearable between walls etc.... Alot of players listen for enemy footsteps to reveal location etc. I sometimes hop and run and hop and run, it makes my movements more unpredictable and me harder to hit in case someone sees me from the front often just hop roll out of the way to nearest cover.
6. Lots of new players forget to use their abilities and gadgets. Forget to hide/back up/take cover while reloading their weapons before helping teammates.
7. put out gadgets in start of a match against glitch for example, like why hes gonna disarm them and follow them anyways since he can see them throu walls. Do a few practice rund if unsure of rogues abilites.
I started playing this game just few days ago and I absolutely love this game❤.
Unless your characters gun is completely ass without upgrades never go for the upgrade before the perks. As a ronin and phantom main, perks are your best friend, they make or break gun fights.

Coming from pretty much only playing ranked Valorant for the last few months, this game is so infuriating lol. Run and gun, worst than iron teammates, and maps that have more flank routes than any game I’ve played before. But the hit marker noise is satisfying so I can’t stop playing
I understand not peaking the same corner "too many" times but saying dont peak twice is very situational as you can see you peak the same corner 3 or 4 times until your player sense and awareness kicks in and starts telling you to move that you're going to start being targeted there.
some things in tips just come down to player sense and that's hard if not impossible to teach as its learned with time
People need to check flanks lol. It's my first day and I'm dropping 15 kills every other game just because I run around the other side of the map and shoot them from behind. Sound really helps.
Here's a 11th mistake most people make ''I can get the kill, or I can 1v3! fuck my teammate that needs to be revived''. 9 times out of 10, that person always die. If you lose the round, the blame is automatically placed onto the person who didn't feel like reviving.
Rogue is such an underrated game
Not using skills.
Not using the toggle camera angle.
And also, in my opinion, you should first point your crosshair towards the enemy and then aim. Not the other way around.
Maybe if u play on Controller because of the aim assist. It just follows the players when they peek

l hate it when someone choose Dallas and don't use his ability so we can know the position on an enemy team.
Analyze the enemy team: if you see they have a Dallas you might want to prioritize the ability that makes you undetectable. If the enemy team has a Lancer, keep an eye on your Flank!!

PLEASE USE SHOULDER SWAP. It’s super easy to rebind to whatever bumper you aren’t using for your tactical/grenade. It’s an essential part of being half decent at the game.

you forgot about the shoulder switch, so huge for peeking cover
Crouching makes it easier to spray for those headshots tho. I won a 1v3 earlier because they were crouching, and i could just hold the trigger and do big peepee dmg
Unless they are using a single shot gun like a shotty, pistol, or sniper, crouch spamming just gives free headshots (especially on console). Crouch spamming is not very effective against full auto or console players.

My biggest Mistake when I start playing rogue was only picking rogues I like. I only used Ronin when saint would be a better pick on defense. Also I solo’d a lot like I didn’t play with my team as I am today😮 still dropped 20+ downs first game tho🥵

They're strong in close quarters, mostly the katana max, but you can also use them to drain trophy systems for your dima
So, I am a full blown noob at this game. I just started yesterday, and so far, I have only played Ronin and Anvil, but mostly Ronin. I have watched a video by Orseofkorse, I think, saying that her AR is the best one in the game. However, a couple of people have told me that her SMG is far better. I do not know which gun I should be using yet. Anyone wanna give a noob some info?
Ok ok so if you want to be super aggressive and flank and go behind the enemy’s team msg is the way to go but if you want to just play and move with you team an AR will get a lot of kills

Number 1, unless you are shroud, do not buy phantom first and sit hard scoping in the back, then u realize that ur bad with her sniper and you use the dmr, which is trash
