- Well... I have always wanted a brand new quad and sadly Yamaha is the only company who makes a brand new sport quad! Come on HONDA, CANAM, POLARIS, KAWASAKI, SUZUKI, KTM where ya at?!?!?!

Only thing i dont like is way my yfz had a bog with stock exhaust. I tried pc5 with full fmf but didnt help. runs best with stock header and fmf 4.1slip on no PC 5 or aftetmarket fuel controller. I took the AIS off used 2013 yfz cable bracket reused the stock metal gasket that was under the AIS cable bracket. seems to run great so far. Would like a vortex ecu from BNR Motorsports eventually so i can use my fmf powerbomb
Giving ya a little tip. I got I 2018yfz450r SE and I'm 12 and the clutch basket shattered and they said get the newer model replaced with a different one before it cost you money and I didn't get mine fixed but I hope I didn't brake the crank

I have '21 Raptor 700R-SE ON ORDER!! They aren't in stock..ANYWHERE. So, put dep dwn on machine u want an go for it! Mine be here July.

I grew up riding and racing sport quads. I remember when the 660 raptor was introduced, I ordered my 2001 660R 6 months early, Actually had one of the first in western P.a... It blows my mind that Yamaha is the only one selling sport quads, I had no idea. There has to still be a huge market for them even though side by sides have taken over.. I'm seriously shocked. I've been out of sport quads since 2005ish. Congrats on new buy, Just wish the others would step up to push each other with technology. If all manufactures were as motivated with sport quads as they are sxs we would probably have quads with live valve suspension, 60 h.p. 10k rpm monsters..

I was a Honda guy for ever, then one day I watched my buddy start his Yamaha in about a half a revolution. You will love the YFZ. Honda is still awesome, just outdated with all their stuff.

Was disapointed when I saw Yamaha, since I have Honda in my heart 😂 but totally understand your tought, still, Yamaha are one of the only company that hasn't let us down and still produce.
Rumors flying around once again people saying 2021 is the last year I’ve heard that now for the past 3 years and each passing year yamaha still comes threw! Fingers crossed for 2022!

I had a 04 yfz 450 for awhile loved it so fast and fun to ride . Well I wanted to by a side by side do I bought a 04 rhino big big mistake wheel kept falling off always doing maintenance. Long story short I finally sold it and bought a 2006 Yfz450 again . I just subscribed to your channel . So far so good !! Have a wonderful day!

Man, I wish ALL the manufacturers would get back in the game. They all have fuel injection technology now, and even if they all used the old chassis and stuffed dirt bike motors in them it would be sweet. I have a theory on this though. If you remember back in the 90’s all the manufacturers stopped making true sport ATVs, then in the late 90’s early 2000’s they started releasing new models that they have been developing for a long time. My theory is that after a few more years of the manufacturers being quiet they will start releasing new models. It will give the aftermarket companies time to catch up and make money because NOW, that’s the only way people can really keep their machines running just like back in the 90’s. I hope my theory is right, and can you imagine a fuel injected TRX, or Yamaha bringing out a YFS250R quad that is basically a YZ250 motor in a YFZ or Raptor 350 frame?? That shit would be INSANE.
My daughter and I are about to have our channel up and running. She is about to be 11 and already is doing her own top ends on her blaster. We are about to build 2 blasters for her to start racing XC

Hella nice bro, just got me 21 back in Aug and I'm loving it done the AIS delete, with 38 motorsports oil cooler, a case saver, FC Intake, with PC- 5 and Rossier Engineering R5 Exhaust and I'm jut waiting to get it tuned and see how she gets down then. Loved the rip. Liked and sub'ed 👍🏾👍🏾💥

I said the same exact thing! If the 2 biggest companies in the offroad industry "Polaris and Can-Am" would bring back sport quads I think the rest of the industry would follow them. Just look at what they've done with the sport side by sides and the big bore 4x4 atv's, they own those markets plain and simple. I'm sure they could do the same with sport quads too.

Welcome to Yamaha family I’ve 2017 yfz450r did a 13 tooth sprocket in the front, hmf exhaust and tuner. It’s a different animal man. Stock seems to bog down climbing hills now it’s no problem.

No way I could ever switch from Honda to Yamaha. I grew up riding Honda's from big reds to recons to ranchers. Every once and a while my friends ( Yamaha owners) would want to ride my Honda so we would switch and I could not stand the way the handle bars seemed to be so much higher and my control felt completely off. But that was years ago and I'm sure they have come a long way. I also don't blame you since you wanted a brand new sport quad. It's still a really nice four wheeler, congratulations.

I would advertise to watch that chain bc you'll never know when it will come loose at the worse time/scenario. Mine came loose on a rock and somehow I broke my transmission for new '19 yfz at the time. Piss me off that much after getting it fixed that I traded it in for a new '20 raptor 700 se. Owned my raptor for about a year and been lovin' it ever since!

Power Commander v, FCI open box intake, a barkers exhaust and lowering the front sprocket by one tooth will make that thing a monster!

Nice bike! I’ve owned both a YFZ and three Raptor 700R’s. I prefer the Raptor but they are both great quads!
I can’t wait until riding season, here in Michigan we have 3 seasons, (early) riding season, too cold but you get over it , late riding season, too hot but you go fast to make up for it, plowing season

You need to get the big 3 and also replace that clutch basket with an 09-10 yfz450r basket those baskets are prone to blow up and if you get the head ported it’s does wonders also get the ais delete and breather box from 38 motorsports
