I kept noticing there weren’t as many as I thought there should be, then I went back to the bridge and saw that a bunch of them - 50 or more - had curled up and gone to sleep right on the bridge! I just walked in amongst them and stealth killed them one by one with the boot knife. Anyway, thanks for another great video!

Ppz what u mean then? Do u mean you walk forward to end when they start swarming around corner then walk left when return? Do the biggest hordes stay as a pack? Ie all eat together n drink? So u cant like wipe the ones eating out then wipe sleepers after?
The hordes always stay in one pack, but, the sawmill horde have a habit of spawning in 2 waves if you drag them well away from the sawmill building, which is quite strange.

Great vid man i figured outba diffrent way on accident onbthe forst easy method if you fall off the rock tovthe right you disapear to them lol andbyou have to throw attractor to bunch them up
The loadout for this video is the SMP9 for the sidearm, The IDF Pup for the main (this is the one I use the most) , and the special is the RPD. The MG 55 and the chicago chopper are worthwhile alternatives (these 2 are usually my weapons of choice when horde hunting), but on this video, I just went with these ones as you usually already have the IDF Pup unlocked when you reach the South, and the RPD can be obtained fairly quickly after reaching the South.
My nerves when it comes to the hordes, went a long time ago Catherine. I may need to talk to someone about this in therapy, lol. Appreciate you watching Catherine, thank you.
I place proximity bombs on the steps leading up to the top of the train tunnel. Then i hide at the very top and they cant see me. I throw attractors and flashbangs. Then i throw a bunch of grenades and Napalm growlers. If any do see me they will begin to climb the steps and get blasted by the proximity bombs.
Nice. This horde's location is one of the best in the game, and makes for a great number of ways to take them out, and the way you do it, is pretty damn good mate.
It's so sad when you've done all the hords, now i might do the challenges. But let's talk guns 😝. There's so many, and some unlock near the end of the game, or do they 🤔. So as a total beginner and you're first horde, well sorry for this but consumables are a must, you will not take out a horde with a 22 repeater and a 9mm. So 20 primary guns, so my choice, Chicago chopper, full rof 80in the mag, very good accuracy. IDf pup slightly lower rof but more accurate. Then you got the shottys Liberater is ok auto shotgun is ok. I think the Nock volley has the biggest stopping power but very slow rof, range, accuracy so a mweerr from me. Side arms, Boris did a vid on how to get the the smp9 from the train track horde, again like myself i wanted it very early in the game, so resources are you're friend of this one, just lay lots I'd mines, attractor bombs the whole ten yards lol, and you'll have the best side arm in the game, way far better that the one at vendors. Special guns, in this you get 2 crossbows the normal crossbow then the Milspec Drifter, just more power crossbow better accuracy, and with all the fire and bomb or poison arrow heads a fun weapon for doing the ambush raids, also you have sniper and LMG personally the LMG is just a must for mowing down hords, but the automatic rifles do a good job to, its just the reload, as obviously LMGs take a bit longer too reload, one I've got to like is the MG 55 the MG45 has just a slight more range. So i believe in all 37 guns. What's you're go to loadout taking on hords or marauders. I use 2 different loadout depending on hords or humans, with humans i like to be stealth, head shots and melee takedown' xp factors .
Wow mate, a VERY detailed amount of comments here, but very good to read. You clearly know you're S&*t when it comes to the weapons. I've got to admit, my 2 loadouts are very contrasting. For general moving through the storyline, I like to have the SMP 9, the Auto Shotgun & a sniper rifle (any one I can get my hands on at the time). However, if I'm horde hunting or near the end game section, it's the SMP9, Chicago Chopper & the MG55 or the RPD. Early next year, I'm going to show on my channel an extreme playthrough of Days Gone, where I can only use the 9mm, SAF12 & the Crossbow for the entire game. As well as this, I will not use any throwables of any kind (with one exception, the rock, lol). I think this will make for some good watching, as new strategies will have to be employed to get through the game.
@@borislav247 Like minds my friend! I'm doing that now on Hard II (I was thinking Survival 2 but I'm not as hardcore and my aim is still shitty-but improving 😉)! But I'm keeping Deek (no skills or juicing with injectors) and the bike downgraded to see how far I can go. Might be tougher with the must-do hordes (which is why I can't wait for your Sawmill horde video!) but I imagine Iron Butte may not be too bad considering how many explosive items are just strewn all over! I hope you livestream your playthrough tho- to see the master just plow through in real-time will be a sight!!
I have heard that Bend studios have been given the green light to make/or are making another open world game but can't confirm if its a sequel to this or not, and this has come from a few trusted sources so fingers crossed its the sequel to this.
@@pmac00 I would love it to be, but Bend Studio announced a long time ago that they were working on a new project that ain't Days Gone II. However, in the near future, there's a good chance that a sequel could get the green light. We would still be a long way from seeing it, but would be something to look forward to.
For this horde, that is bizarre, as they are always at this location, and they are unlocked as soon as you enter the South. Day or night, they are always at this location. Sounds like you're game has glitched in a big way. Reload a previous game save, and hopefully this will solve your problem.
Says this If they know for sure that you're there, they'll open doors, climb ladders, jump through open windows, give chase over long distances, anything short of opening the lid of a garbage dumpster they're capable of in their relentless pursuit.

Nice. This horde's location is one of the best in the game, and makes for a great number of ways to take them out, and the way you do it, is pretty damn good mate.
I absolutely HATE doing large hordes without the red bar, especially with the last few at the end.
The red bar is handy as hell for sure mate. It would be nice if they showed this for every horde in the game as you are working through it.
@borislav247 Especially when you thought you completed a horde and there's a couple walking in the complete opposite direction of Deacon
Ive just done this with easy kill option 1, my bike didnt fall through and im not sure how to get it down! Help!
I've just figured it out and fast travelled, thanks, enjoying your videos
Yep, you figured it out mate. Fast Travel or use the RECOVER BIKE option when you put the cursor on the bike on the map screen. Both will do the job.
Is it possible to jump above those train cars with your bike?
Not sure what you mean mate. The train cars can be climbed up onto without the use of a bike, so what exactly are you asking about?.
@@borislav247 Oh I didnt even know you could climb those train cars. I just thought it looked like a nice place to kill that horde safely
Best zombie game ever nothing is touching it
I wholeheartedly agree with that Tracy.
Hey friend, how do we get the bike down after climbing up the rocks? I made it down, the bike did not 😂
Just bring up the map, then move the cursor over to the bike, then use the RECOVER BIKE option, and the bike will be moved off the rock.
Last kill osom❤❤❤
Thank you my friend, appreciate you watching.
Is it true that Sony has given the green light for a DG sequel? Or it’s false rumours?
At the moment mate, it's nothing more than rumours. If a sequel is announced, I'll be shouting about it on my channel, lol.
@@borislav247 alright, thanks 👍
I have heard that Bend studios have been given the green light to make/or are making another open world game but can't confirm if its a sequel to this or not, and this has come from a few trusted sources so fingers crossed its the sequel to this.
@@pmac00 I would love it to be, but Bend Studio announced a long time ago that they were working on a new project that ain't Days Gone II. However, in the near future, there's a good chance that a sequel could get the green light. We would still be a long way from seeing it, but would be something to look forward to.
😎💪🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Julio.
😗
I just killed them by driving my bike in the tent at the Nero check point
That will work.
the horde is missing
For this horde, that is bizarre, as they are always at this location, and they are unlocked as soon as you enter the South. Day or night, they are always at this location. Sounds like you're game has glitched in a big way. Reload a previous game save, and hopefully this will solve your problem.
Says this
If they know for sure that you're there, they'll open doors, climb ladders, jump through open windows, give chase over long distances, anything short of opening the lid of a garbage dumpster they're capable of in their relentless pursuit.
The horde was overwhelming your voice then had to use subtitles. You have loudish voice but i could only hear zombies hehe.
Kill location 4 looked overunnable hehe as gap in fence no ladders either. I read somewere that freakers can climb ladders not the towers or bunkers it didnt say exactly said regarding freakers seeing you etc
You're not the first to comment on the horde noise so I'll definitely have to be aware of that on any future horde vids. Thanks for that M.
